Hi Cherie! I hope your shoulder/neck is on the mend. I get neck and back pain a lot, it’s such a drag! A very interesting mix of reviews, I have never heard of any of these before, and the Ormond Jayne was the only brand I recognised. There really are endless perfumes out there to try! And I like to hear of the ones that don’t work and why. You hear so many reviews that say everything is fabulous…. but that’s just not the case for everyone’s nose. Lastly, please let’s double our prayers for this beyond-stinky weather to end 🙏🙏😁
I know right, this weather is killing me! At this point I feel like I’m like the wicked witch of the west, melting in the moisture and humidity. Except…I’m not wicked…but I am from the west! 😂
Love hearing about new (to me) houses! I blind bought Babylonia last year and haven't quite fallen for it yet. The black currant can sometimes become pissy on my skin but other times it doesn't. I also agree that it's a bit too sweet. I'm going to give it another go this spring. Great video, Cherie.
Enjoyed hearing your sample reviews. I am early in my scent journey. I have been sampling the Who is Elijah range. Not sure what I think yet. I have ordered three Goldfield and Banks samples: Southern Bloom, Wood infusion and Bohemian Lime. Eagerly awaiting their arrival. Wearing La vie est belle Iris Absolu today which s likely too much for he putrid humidity today.
Oh yes. I’ve been sampling lots and not finding much. Went through a whole discovery set from Parfums Nicolai and also tried the newest BDKs including their brand new musky one and I’ve been pretty disappointed. Makes me glad I sampled because perfumes I thought I’d love have been misses for me. Funny enough I’ve pulled out an old decant of Quelques Fleurs and it’s all I want to wear these days. I’m having a love affair with musky florals this winter.
I love it when I revisit an old scent profile and it becomes an obsession (either for the first time or all over again!). I think periods of not being wowed by samples are great for this, they drive us back to the ones we already have and love :)
Oolong cha is a great in 🇹🇼. I drank only this and I hooked all of my family. I love your taste because it's different to mine and being such a curious creature I love your detailed reviews. They have depth about perfumes, like not a lot of other reviewers here.
I too wonder what a corn accord would smell like... 🤔🌽 I think we'd be aMAIZEd. 😂 Hope the shoulder gets better soon! 💚

Thanks Jim! Yes I should have known about Babylonia but my curiosity got the better of me lol
Found you after searching Milky Dragon. Thx for a useful review
I’m glad you found my ramblings helpful! Lol welcome and thank you for being here 🙏
Savory Butter! Another interesting and eloquent podcast, Cherie 👌🙏x

Random review is such a good catchphrase 😊
Haha I feel a new series developing!

Thank you so much for your kind words :)
