Rosa Palissandro is my #sotd - a very savoury blend of herbs (namely coriander) rose and patchouli to create a rosewood effect. I personally don’t find this to be particularly musky but I definitely get the rosewood inspiration. If you don’t like coriander though, you may not enjoy it! omg, I'm so glad you put this on RUclips, I started watching on Tiktok and then got interrupted and never got back to it. I love powdery perfumes. I'm going to have to get my nose on Dioramour, I'm having a Dior Privee moment.

@ I have a five bottles from this house, they produce such amazing quality scents. But I can’t find Mohur Extrait for a better price anywhere just yet unfortunately 😢. I adore it, but I can’t pay that much for 60ml lol
At last, one of the very few distinguishing between powdery and sweet. Powdery is comforting, doesn't have to be sweet, if it is then all I get is spun sugar which is predominant nowadays. Great picks, one powdery scent I have stuck with is Prada Infusions - Purple Rain, it wraps around you and stays without being offensive.
Happy new year, beautiful! I am all about powdery scents heavy on the Iris. I adore Iris Cartagena by Bon Parfumeur. It has some similar notes to Belle Ame , so definitely want to sample. I am cutting down on perfume spending, the extraordinary “normal” of over consumption has become quite a turn-off. For many people I believe. This was a great review, happy to see you!! ❤

I can’t wait to hear you revisit old gems! I decided Belle Ame was going to be my single bottle purchase in January. Crossing fingers I will love it as it’s been on my wishlist for ages and impossible to get a sample in the States. I’ve been home sick with a very bad flu, or quite possibly the plague so I’m not running on all cylinders here and may regret the blind buy. I also bought a decant sample of La Pausa. I’m crazy in love with 1957 tho and that may be my signature for now. ❤❤
I'm on a powdery kick at the moment - powdery floral, powdery sweet, powdery woody. I've put Teint de Neige in my Pafory calender actually
Belle Ame is such a beautiful fragrance, still on my wishlist. A powdery fragrance I love is Ex Nihilo Sweet Morphine

Epic Woman is a powder bomb on my skin. That incredible sawdust-y cosmetic rose violet combo is like a makeup of a carpenter girl.

I love Chanel No 19 Poudre, and I thought I would enjoy Guerlain's Insolence, but I actually hate it. The artificial strawberry with the powder is unbearable.
I like the insolence edt but the edp was not for me, too cloying!
I have Teint se Neige and I agree it's a bit too sweet. My favorite powdery fragrance is Tardes by Carner Barcelona. It is a bit floral and almodny because of heliotrope but it is so cozy and comforting.
Tardes is a great one too!
Diptyque Fleur de Peau is very powdery.
Powdery is one of my favorite characteristics in a perfume. But I ve learned everyone has their own idea of what that means. I remember buying infusion d’Iris solely because everyone talks about how powdery it is. And I don’t find it powdery at all 😂. I love teint de neige. Sad to hear it’s becoming popular. But I guess I never considered it to be sweet I don’t tend to prefer sweet perfumes. But it is dense in its powdery nature, which I love. Curious about the dior and mizensir!
I don’t find Infusion d’Iris to be particularly powdery either. Perhaps I associate Teint de Neige with sweetness because it smells to me like pink musk sticks (the confectionary) blended with a lot of baby powder. I despise pink musk sticks, BUT - I have only tried the EDP, and I hear the EDT is less sweet so I’m tempted to try it!
@ oddly enough when I first purchased it. I ordered the EDT but they sent me the EDP. and well I liked it, so I kept it. It’s mostly my bedtime wear. So i only have 1/3 of a bottle left. I just went to re order and could only find the The EDT. I’ll come back and let you know how different they are 🫶🏽.

Myrrh and Tonka is a beautiful powdery incense perfume. I love Belle Àme. On my list.
Nishane Nanshe and Zoologist Cockatiel were two of my most worn fragrances last year. My skin has a tendency to turn many fragrances into powdery mush so to find a powdery fragrance that maintains its integrity on my skin is a real treat. Thanks for sharing your recommendations! Belle Ame is officially on my radar.

Belle Ame is 💯 one I recommend people get their nose on (LA do sell samples) if they like cozy, fluffy scents with a bit of sweetness - it’s a winner!

Thank you! Ok so, Le Lion is a lot more smoky and dry than the others so, I don’t know if I would say it is redundant, as it is quite different. It just depends whether you would enjoy it as much or more than the others. For me, although with more sampling I’m really appreciating Le Lion much more, I think I’m still more likely to reach for other ambers first. Thus I have been keeping a few samples of this in my cache but I’m not ready for a full bottle yet (if ever) :)
This is the only perfume that I was loyal to. Since it was discontinued, it's hard for me to find the replacement until now (3rd January 2025).
It is such a beautiful scent. So sad when our favourites are discontinued!
