I watched April first, so now going back in time. 😄 I've tried Peregrina, too, but just can't seem to get excited by it. It's quite lovely, but something I don't think I need. Loved the special appearance by Poppy!

Hi Cherie! Loewe is a brand I want to dig more into. I blind bought Ella edt and loving it. The sprayer is really bad though… I don’t know if I had a bad bottle. Poppy is so pretty! 🥰

I wish I could keep track of mine I'm quite terrible. I think I tend to wear my samples more generally than my actual fragrances, which is stupid 🤣.
The SL Joie one is gorgeous isn't it, I love that one. And Lyric Woman is very nice 😍.
SHL I liked one a lot but the others I've tried haven't connected too much. I feel they are a bit of an "influencer" brand which is where that disappointment comes from for folks.
Yes I wear lots of Chanel nowadays too.

Aww. Poppy ❤! Such a momma’s girl 🤗. Fils de Joie does have a hint of cherry, which fades on me after the minty/menthol opening calms down and the honey and jasmine take over on my skin. While it’s an elegant perfume, it’s also got a shadowy, darker edge of things best left for the imagination, rather than spelled right out 😂. NR Rouge is sooo beautiful!

Hi, I am starting my fragrance wardrobe. For many years I stopped using perfume because I only knew designer and all of hem smelled alike. I did discover niche and now I have 11 fragrances. I reached the point where I struggle to choose what I want to wear and this tells me I need to stop adding to my collection. My collection is only composed of perfumes I LOVE. The likes do not enter my collection.
Just like you I tend to gravitate more to one scent profile, so I try to diversify to have more options. :) But I still want to keep my fragrances to a minimum :)
A great approach! Yes the Facebook groups are great for snagging a bargain but I still need to remind myself that it’s not a bargain if it doesn’t get used!
I find Lyric woman so elegant in the cold weather. I am wearing Frangipani by OJ (the same bottle I received❤ from your channel) a lot as it is getting "warm" in Germany, and already wore half of the bottle, kind of drinking it😅 Have a great week😘

Oh my! I want Fleurs de Reine Godet so badly, but I’m in a no buy till end of year as perfume spends have been completely out of control the last 12+ months. It’s on my wishes tho. ❤
I think it’s one of their more popular scents so, there’s no rush. Go the no buy! 💪
I caved and purchased it. I’m so ashamed…but also very excited for it to arrive here in sweltering Colorado. Hoping it will perform well in this heat. And now back to no-buy…❤

Remember I made an "exception" for my birthday in my no-buy year which was not part of my original "rules" - I REALLY wanted that bottle of Honour 43!! On the bright side, FdR performed well in our Brisbane summer so Im sure you will have plenty of enjoyment out of it. Please report back on your thoughts! xx
I have been wearing: Scherzo, Valaya, Hibiscus Marahjad, Purpose, Guidance and Atomic Rose (to note that I live in Germany and Summer is just a concept here LOL no real heat or sunshine, mostly rain and cold :)

Poppy is beautiful. I am starting off a no buy year to save for a trip. To end my perfume buying year I have added Victoria ( Frassai) and a few hits and misses . Jo Malone Silver Birch and lavender 30ml will go straight to my son, a nice little four pack of 7.5ml Narcisso dabbers ( keepers) , both rash purchases made at airports. I did try some Costume Nationale, BDK and Grandiflora ,surprisingly at the gift shop at GOMA in Brisbane, an unexpected pleasure. Had really wanted to try Grandiflora Saskia but feel that my travel size , Chanel Gardenia better for for me. Saskia is a bit murky). Thanks Cherie for reflecting on your no buy year. I think I have enough in my collection now to wear and see what I really love and what I don't. I understand your Chanel thing. During my recent trip of 3 weeks I only took Number 5 L'eau, Blondine (Frassai) and 19 Poudre. Blondine was amazing but the 5 L'eau was fantastic. I fell head over heels for it and will be repurchasing even in my no buy year if I run out.
Thank you for sharing Linda! I have been sampling Saskia and I felt the same the first few times I sampled it but its really grown on me. I need to catch up on my sample reviews. L'eau is so great, I just purchased a replacement bottle.
Peregrina was a no for me too. It's so hyped but honestly, it's typical of being another middle eastern inspired rose Oud Saffron style, just nothing exciting or original or even good to my nose but that's just me.
And a big fat yes to lyric woman. Just a stand out beauty in my collection. Definitely date night worthy. Very alluring and special.
I think chypre Siam is probably my most worn this month. . Along with Chanel No.5 Leau 👌🤍
