Hi. It’s funny to hear Gypsy Water as vanilla centric. I don’t get any vanilla from it. That’s what makes fragrance so fascinating. Different on every skin.
I REALLY want to try this! I have Tobak, which was kindly given to me by a frag friend but I haven’t been able to get my hands on any others from her line!
We are rocking 30°C in Germany these days, and I am still wearing Ani in the morning and evening when it is not so warm. I wore Datura Noir last summer, especially on the beach. This is one that smells very different in winter and in summer on me, tuberose bomb during the cold months, sweet coconut vanilla in summer (1 spray only on the neck)
@@TheTopNote hey😍... my most recent pick-up was Burberry Goddess, not as sweet as my faves Andalusian Soul and Hundred Silent Ways (for me its all-year rounder, where i go from a half-spritz dose(for work setting ) to full spray dose (for outdoors or when am just cozy-ing up at home ahaha🥰)On my mindlist i wanna sample next Bosca Vanilla and now you've put me on to try Poudre D'or & Solar Blossom and most definitely RimaXI as well💖💖💖
I love you and your videos ❤ at the moment my favorites are Divine Vanille (Essential Parfums) and Vaniglia fior mandorio ( Acca Kappa). Greetings from Germany
Looking forward to trying the ylang ylang nosy be! I have mimosa tanneron. I’m surprised you didn’t mention Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau de Toilette, I usually object to most vanilla and gourmand scents and this one works for haters❤ but I think Eau Duelle is more of a cold weather winter scent ❄️ but could go either way since it has a green top note
Nice list!! In the norwegian summer, at least where I live, I think you can pretty much wear any vanilla you like. But like you, I prefer the vanilla to be hidden, maybe behind some spices, some wood and something green. Actually I think I would wear Angelique Noir in th summer, it is quite fluffy and not very noir in my opinion. And of course Gypsy Water, maybe Eau Duelle edt, the edt is fresher than the edp I find.
Great selection. Also for late Spring and early Summer in Melbourne I wear Dama Bianca and Celine’s Dans Paris is a fabulous ‘date night ‘ vanilla pretty much all Summer long. 💕
Ooh lovely, I think I have a sample of that somewhere, I picked up a few from the house so I haven’t really dived into them yet, have been waiting to set aside time to review all of them!
Thank you Cherie, another great, informative video! I’m running, not walking, to get a camera like yours if it makes my skin look so good like yours. 😁✨
@@TheTopNote I love Casamorati’s Dama Bianca for a summer vanilla, and my old faithful Woman in gold by Kilian lol, I also love so many you have mentioned and there are a couple I would love to try 😁💕
Loved your description of Gypsy Water. I always describe as cozy and comforting yet fresh but couldn’t really put my finger on why. You hit the nail on the head. Beautiful list. Thank you for the inspiration. ❤
I’m not a gourmand person but I do have a bottle of Rima XI. Some days it’s just exactly what I want to experience and I’m happy to have a bottle. I went through a sample, then a decant and then bought the bottle. I also have and enjoy Yang Ylang Nose Be and Gypsy Water. My guilty pleasure summer vanilla is Vanilla Vibes. It’s the only one I like in that salty vanilla category and I bring it unapologetically to the beach (lakes in Manitoba Canada).
I am surprised you didn't show Solar Blossom. I get a lot of soft vanilla in that one. I still can't find the video where you have talked about Solar Blossom recently. It is a HUGE LOVE for me and I bought it because of you. :)
So true Chris! That’s definitley my favourite but weirdly I wear that more in the winter, spring and autumn. I think because it is so cheerful but last summer I reached for PD more for some reason. Also, Ive talked about SB a lot so I thought I would change it up 😂
Hey Cherie I’m with ya on vanilla; not really interested in the straight-up heavy gourmands. I’m finding I appreciate something more subtle, with vanilla contributing to the overall experience. I bought a 10ml of Poudre D’Or a few months ago because of you. You’ve inspired me to pull it out and wear it today! 🌻

Yes. I can see Gypsy Water being a "Cherie" vanilla!
😂
I like Maya Njie's Vanilj. Its a woody cardemom scent with a lot of vanilla. It is quite cold and light. Great for Scandinavian summer 😊
I REALLY want to try this! I have Tobak, which was kindly given to me by a frag friend but I haven’t been able to get my hands on any others from her line!
I loooove Ylang Nosy Be. Just makes me feel gorgeous.
It’s glorious

Amyris Femme is so beautiful!
I also love Amyris Homme on me😃.
I really think most MFK are so easy to wear - with the exception of oud satin mood and BR540 which don’t really work for me.

Divine Vanille, yes! That whole range is fantastic. Thank you for the kind words 🙏❤️

Dans Paris is gorgeous, yes! I really like a lot of that Celine range 😃
Enjoy very much your videos. Thank you for presenting perfumes with Vanilla for summer!! Continue to share your knowledge and recommendations.
Thank you for watching! 🙏
Loved the video and love vanilla. I wore Dulcis in Fundo today, which is just vanilla and citrus. It's still going strong at 9 pm!

Nothing quite as nuclear as Profumum Roma
@@TheTopNote I definitely look forward to that, Cherie! I own quite a few and there are a couple more I'm interested in. 🫢
@@TheTopNoteplease do; thank you
YES! I get a biscuit in Rima as well. Spicy starchy biscuit/scone. :)
I love this video, you’re adding to my wishlist

Love this 😍 and your descriptions are spot on, a lot of my favourites in this video, you always look so lovely❤
Thanks Verity ❤️❤️❤️ do you have any suggestions of others that might fit the category?

Ive come to the conclusion that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason for how and when I wear my perfumes lol
I have just ordered some samples and I included Ylang Ylang Nosy Be. I hope I love it too ☺️
Cherie doing a vanilla dedicated Vanilla perfume video??!! I had to do a double take! LOL!!!!
Even more surprising - it’s the second one I have done now! Lol
Hi Cherie! I love Gypsy Water. I don’t like to smell like food 😂 this is the first vanilla fragrance I fell in love ❤

Can you do top demure fragrances 🙏
🌹
Ha! I switched from using a Canon to a Sony, but none of them made my skin look better.😁
It’s hard to improve what’s already great!
@@TheTopNote no wonder everyone likes you😁
Do you know roughly how many perfumes are in your collection?
Un bois Vanille wasnt on the list!?
Not for me summer! I prefer that in the cooler months. That’s why I went with Datura Noir :)
@@TheTopNote I thought of that after leaving my comment haha! love love your videos 😁
@@Maryam9028w haha all good I did think about mentioning why I didn’t choose that and the Vanille de Tahiti from PMC but in the end I forgot.
