Me either dude. I wish I could go back to it every damn day. Glad to have shared it with all of you guys in whatever headspace and wherever we all were. Even happier to get nostalgic with all of you just the same.
Kids these days will probably ask what Burnout is. Sitting around in my room, with a CRT TV, causing carnage in 2005, that's my definition of Burnout. Probably one of my memorable moments. Chilling in the early fall, playing Burnout and being young.

Feeling exactly the same here! They just don't make games like this anymore. I play Burnout Paradise on the PC sometimes, but it just doesn't compare to the good times I spent nearly 10 years ago in my PS2 with Burnout 3... fortunately for me, both the console and the game still work, on the same old CRT TV (some things never changes :']).

It was 240p originally. Looks like they upgraded it to a 1440p version recently. It looks really good! They've been doing this with a lot of their older uploads recently. Guessing they're going back to the original reels of these videos and re-exporting them in higher quality.
@@ShOscar I Think you cannot edit an already uploaded video. You have to upload a new video with a new link if you want to reupload higher res. It says 17 years ago. So 1440p is already uploaded 17 years ago.

My first job was working for Vans in 2003. I was 16 years old and earned Employee of the Month at my store and got tickets to The Warped Tour 2003 as a reward. It was awesome! I was introduced to so many good bands I still love to this day, and the concert rocked!

after so long, i finally found this song. heard this song when i was a kid, i knew it was from one of my ps2 game, but don't remember which one. but here i am, revisiting burnout 3 takedown in 2022 and found this song.
I love the music and the memories of these songs, but MAN I am glad that these days are gone. It was boring, it was lonely, it was a waiting game, it was bland and it was anything but inspiring. Sitting watching the CRT TV in the basement just waiting for something to happen.

This was the first song I heard from them off of a Vans Warped Tour compilation over 12 years ago (holy shit I'm old). Now at 31, I still periodically play I Am The Movie. By far my favorite record from this group. The whole record from start to finish was just great!

I JUST started listening to this band. Like, two songs ago.
My ex used to listen to them, but I never really heard any of their songs.
But now I think I might really like them.
I remember hearing this way back in '04, playing Burnout 3 for the first time at the tender age of 6.
In 2016, I had this play at my graduation, feeling the warm spring air in my face as I drove away with my diploma.
Now it's 2022 and this shit STILL takes me back. I still love MCS to this day and still regularly listen to them. Thanks guys, for making my childhood/teen years great.

Remember playing burnout when i was young, no problems, no stress, nothing. Just enjoying my childhood.
I think burnout made me like these kinds of songs a lot more.
Burnout 3 is my favourite game ever... and its sound track had a big impact on my music choices (although not quite as much as tony hawk underground).
Yet somehow this sound didn't stick as much as others.. but then years later I had the kind of relationship described in the lyrics and now it means so much more than it did at the time.
Omg I have found my twin. The soundtracks from Burnout 3 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2 have really stuck with me through all these years. Those were probably my two most favorite games when I was in middle school.
