I’ve said it many times before, if wrestling angles are like building a house, Jim is still a master at the foundation, framing, utilities, etc. You don’t want him picking out flooring, appliances or paint colors unless you have a thing for the early 80s aesthetic. But the fundamentals, Jim is still an absolute master.
It’s the fact that CM Punk did exactly that and he STILL had fans over there 😂😂 man is untouchable
just saw the clip of the beatdown angle Bron did to Ricochet. That spot with the sound of Ricochet hitting that concrete was brutal. The powerslam on to the car looked great but that sound of Ricochet hitting the concrete would've been believable enough for him to be injured. They're doing a great job with Braun so far
They replayed that segment at Raw last night, in the arena and with that sound system, the bump on the concrete sounded horrible! I was like 😬 damn!!
It sounded bad enough on TV the week before, but that took it to a whole new level lol.
If you look back his foot got caught on Bron's shoulder so he couldn't break his fall with his legs, fell like what 8 foot on to concrete back first.... ouch. Then he still had to get powerslammed into a windshield, poor fella 😂
That bump on the ground was way nastier than the windshield bump. I was saying that before. Also is it just me or did anyone else hear Jungleboy scream "Its real glass. Cry me a river" when Ricochet hit that car? LOL

Gunther’s IC reign looks much stronger in comparison. Honestly, they should have hotshot the belt a few times before Summer Slam - he’d have more bragging rights heading into the title match simply because his successors showed they couldn’t follow in his footsteps.
He is the longest reigning IC champion... I don't think he needs more bragging rights. It was done well and it was left before it got to stale.
I remember WrestleMania XL Night 1 vividly, Homeless Sami Lame wins and the entire event legitimately is ruined for me and irks me to no end. Then, I tell my brother "Give it a month, maybe 3 months, maybe a year, but everyone cheering right now will look back and say Homeless Sami Lame beating Gunther was one of the worst booking decisions and he will genuinely garner 'go away heat' as time progresses." I'll just add another Quarter to the "And yet again, I was right" jar.

Obviously Punk did cost Drew the belt and got out of the arena and country without issue. Even mugged with some fans on camera, the crowd didn't freak out like Brian predicts here. They know it's entertainment.
