It's almost like they're trying to drive off viewers. It's like my friends and I used to marvel at how much of a fuckup you had to be to get an F in any class in high school. I've talked with some AEW guys and one of the things that they mention about not being as interested recently is no interesting stories and that Swerve was basically booked like a mid carder as champion.
Or it could be that poor people don't watch AEW

@kcmartin22 Well, the stories that brought them there aren't there anymore. Also, I think because the wrestlers there at AEW (not all) are TOO cool with Dave Meltzer, it's pretty much a "What would Dave like?" kind of vibe. You can have good wrestling, but stories are what get you on late night talk shows, GMA, IIWII, etc.

Tony Khan needs to start firing his top names, they're not drawing for him and frankly, they're scaring the audience off. AEW could lose their TV deal and it will be all Khan's fault because he insisted on pushing names that no one wants to see.

I can’t recall if it was Keepin it 💯 83 weeks or the Who Killed WCW show that stated as long as they have at least 500,000 viewers that Turner Broadcasting will be happy enough with that number.
Welp, they’re getting awfully close to dropping below 500,000 viewers. It’s not like they’ll just vanish if they fall below that viewership number, but it’s definitely not good. I understand it’s summer time and people don’t watch tv as much cuz the weather is nice, but they gotta do something to fix this and fast.

This is the lowest rating in wrestling I've ever seen and this is why i stopped watching Aew. I lost interest with those Jericho promo's and Swerve Strickland isn't being treated like a champion.

It was a good episode of Dynamite as well. The storylines are key to character development and keeps people interested. It’s unfortunate. The shots from AEW taken at WWE have completely backfired. Including Osprey’s continuous childish behavior towards Triple H and WWE. Take a bow AEW. You have embarrassed yourselves and fans are done with it.

Konan would have loved Rhett Titus's gimmicks as the Romantic Touch or in the tag team the Dawgs in ROH They were both over the top awful to the point they were great. Much like a Leslie Nielsen movie.
