genuinely, I used mimic tear a bunch in the base game but never player summons. This DLC made use player summons for the first time on multiple occasions. Love some jolly cooperation.
Everything else is fine but summon in rellana fight feel like a disgrace, it feel like a duel of steel magic and fire, i dodge her attack and she dodge mine, dancing around in the arena of water and stone, one shall fell and which was destined to be the moons. No matter how manny time he die, the wretches tarnish shall be the last one standing
The first half of the game have me a schizophrenic meltdown, but then I got cool new things and was able to deal damage. I accidentally skipped all the early bosses.

Either way, golden summons give the boss more health and unless you have a build designed for it, regular spirit ashes don’t do much on their own, so no - it isn’t a “summon this dude to win”.
19:37 There IS a lore reason why your weapons aren't working! Maybe you did it and it just wasn't in the video, but you have to upgrade your "Scadutree blessing" to stay on par with the DLC content. It's so that people wouldn't come into the DLC overleveled. They're scattered around the map near the crosses and churches for the most part.

I feel like people forget that there are more spirit summons than JUST Mimic if your struggling on a boss, For example: There's support summons if you don't want something like Mimic dealing half the damage to the boss, If your struggling but don't want to turn the fight into a total pushover, Use a healing Spirit Summon to help you recover, Or a buffing summon to boost your attack power.
