Each Painting is given a backstory to validate their techniques and weapons of choice. So certain players can have an easier time with certain paintings according to their playstyle. You only need to beat ONE King to go forward but if you beat all of them. You'll get a special talisman or something.

Also, if it's even possible. If Fromsoft ever turns this idea into reality. Make an achievement to players who manages to fight and kill all 3 Kings in one battle. Name it like _"Let Them Eat Lead"_ as a reference to The French Revolution.

For the goblin soldiers, I feel like you should all be using like, cragged shields and menial weapons, as if found my a goblin. It would make the "band of goblins" thing more believable/realistic.
(yes I know it's a game but the roleplay in the three paintings was on point so I just had to comment)
I actually think it's much more terrifying if goblins can wield spells, god-like weapons and have great intelligence. It also doesn't follow the Goblin Stereotype of small, dumb creatures that attack in large numbers or wield small clubs and wooden shields. Like this timestamp for example 16:45
Can you imagine:
A well-known knight in a wolf-like armor that wields a Greatsword, is being toyed by three intelligent goblins, while also being killed slowly by a thousand knife throws and ass stomps. These goblins can use their god weapons, yet they decided to only use knives and ass stomps just to mock the knight.
Like I would not fuck with those creatures.

The roleplaying in this looked so fun, this makes me sad i don't have friends to make up fantasy scenarios with.
The climbing up the fortress of frenzy quest, only to discover the treasure was just shit they left sitting in their dusty item box for weeks. The paintings three reminded me of those mirrors with the blue phantoms that break out of them in DS2. I love this video so much.

I got together a few people in a Discord server, and we made two cosplay trios: Abyss Watchers and Shadows of Yharnam. For the Abyss Watchers, the host would summon a white phantom and a mad phantom (this is the one that can betray the group at any time), both with the untrue dark ring. Set up the dried finger for more chaos then wait for invaders to spawn in before kicking the fight off.
For the Shadows of Yharnam, it's a bit trickier. Robe and Hood of Prayer work well for the aesthetic, but stats are sorely lacking. I like to balance it with Black Iron gauntlets and leggings, but ymmv. One Shadow will be pure pyromancy, one will be pure katana (Washing Pole recommended), and the final one will need a katana (Uchigatana or Black Blade recommended) with the Follower's Torch to breathe fire. Once one Shadow dies, the torch Shadow uses Carthus Flame Arc to buff his katana as a signifier of phase change. The katana Shadow should play more aggressively the entire time, and the other two should hang back and rarely step forward until he's dead. Pyromancer Shadow should only throw out spells like Bursting Fireball or Poison Mist every ten seconds to avoid overwhelming the contender, and the torch Shadow should breathe fire every fifteen/twenty seconds to be safe.
No healing for any of these fights, obviously, and not everyone is gonna see this as a fun player boss fight. We did have a lot of fun, though, and I'm sad we won't be able to get more out of it.

I’ve had Elden ring for about a week. I don’t know where I’m going, who I’m fighting or how to fight them. About 70% of my gameplay has been loading screens and I haven’t even gotten close to melania. Yet I’ve already bought a figure of her and am very down bad already. 10/10 definitely a game

Regarding that one dude who gave you the Frenziedflame Stone and seemed shocked you'd all blast him.... IT'S LITERALLY CALLED THE FORT OF FRENZY. WHAT WAS HE EXPECTING?! CAMPIRE AND KUMBAYA?!
strategy to climb the fort of frenzy:
to dodge the bursts: to prevent being shot by 3 frenzied bursts at a time, try using bloodhound´s step, this way, the bursts will miss
to dodge the flame of frenzy incantation: almost impossible, you have to jump and dodge the frenzied flame at the same time, try using a greatshield
to hit them: any sorcery with very long range works well, but it has to be fast, or else you will either be hit by the bursts or they will dodge in time
to dodge zanny´s war spear: you cannot.
alternate method: offer treasures, legendary weapons or frenzy flame related items, they will allow thee, although, they will kill you afterwards, so either prepare a surprise attack or be ready to die
i know zanny stopped with the fort of frenzy, i just felt like writing

Honestly in terms of ganks, the invaders at least know what they’re getting themselves into by storming the fort, picking a painting, and seeing 3 goblin boios (not that there is any honor or courtesy obligated to invaders and hosts alike). Very fun!
