Dave: Well, I, I think it depends on, well you see if maybe your friend, and well if you have 2 or 2.5 then I think that maybe, it's like you you gotta assume that it's no more than just 2. So once you have two, I mean IF you have two then it's like, 2+2 I mean that's up to interpretation if you think about it. 2+2 today is like, not the same thing as 2+2 to others if you think about it. It's like back in the 1970s 2+2 was like, you like that, you know. But but if if today's 2 is anything like the way two was years ago then I think that has a major affect on what 2+2 is actually trying to tell you, you know?

I have said it many times on Cornette’s podcast. Dave Meltzer is the Mel Kiper Jr of pro wrestling. Never been in a match, never booked a match, never was an agent for a match, never worked in the office for a promotion, yet somehow has convinced a lot of people that he is an expert and knows more than anyone. When in reality he takes guesses, is wrong way more than he is right, and when something he predicts does not happen he just goes “let me tell you why this was a great thing for ‘promotion X’”. All while people who do these jobs for real wouldn’t wipe their ass with the newsletters, much less listen to the person who writes them. And the ‘Observer’ is not like Madden is for NFL players. The ‘boys’ all want to see what their rating/match stars are, as opposed to doing the best they can do to win/put on a believable match.

CVV did an excellent job of letting Dave hang himself. He did his homework and exposed Dave, pinning him down and exposing him.

Dave's formula for 5 star matches: "Did the match happen in Japan and or feature Kenny Omega? Yes? 5 STARS!"
According to Dave Meltzer, AEW has as many 5+ star matches in 5 years of existence than WWE, WCW, and TNA combined in the 40+ years he's been rating matches

I tried watching the one hour Okada Omega match 2 days ago and my God it's long and damn... I quit on the 29th minute and put on Austin vs Brett.

If you take a shot everytime Dave says (Like) and or (You know)...man you'd be sloshed half way to death.

I wonder if Jim has seen Shawn vs Taker at WM25. I know in 2009 Jim still hated Shawn and probably never wanted to see anything to do w him but times hes softened his stance on him over the years.
