    Ohh no. Wait. So because sampler become subscription only thanks to that generative features!
    That means that: we never see generative fill in substance painter
    Or
    Painter will be removed/subscription only feature.

      @nicolasliatti 3 месяца назад

      There are already several features in Painter which are available only in the subscription. The 3D Assets for example that was launched this week is only in Painter subscription, and not on Steam.

      @@nicolasliatti Shame on you ADOBE.... please stay away from your competition, we do not want you trying to buy that next, like you do with everything you ruin...

    I have the latest Sampler beta version. I dont se the "pattern" option or the "add image as a reference "

    So, we would like to know more about when the testing of text to texture will end and be launched as the official version

      There is no date for the launch in GA. The feature is in beta, but you can now use it inside the official Sampler builds.

    for Image-to-T, what about the required input photo pixel resolution? must it be higher than the target texture? (for example, my older EOS 6D photo camera only has 3.6k pixel resolution, but sometimes I would like to have 4k-square textures output) - or it would be nice to input multiple photos with auto merge/stitch (or in future many photos input, 3D reconstruct of a normal-map!) Thanks.

    • @wes.mcdermott
      @wes.mcdermott 3 месяца назад +1

      Hi, there is not a pixel resolution requirement. In the case of the 3.6K res. We do have a tool called upscale which uses machine learning to do an intelligent upscale to 4K. You can add upscale at the time of using Image to Material or you can use the upscale filter in the layer stack.

    How much for the generative credits you seemed to skip that part

    • @1989johno
      @1989johno 3 месяца назад

      i reckon 1/2 for every text .. for $20 a month you get sampler and 25 credits ... so you can get 10/20 textures maybe ? every refine classes as a new search

    • @nicolasliatti
      @nicolasliatti 3 месяца назад

      This is free usage while the feature is in beta. We will clarify how many credits are available in the Substance subscription later this year.

    I call it now Sampler Steam users will NOT see a single update if we are lucky.., anyone want to bet?

    Introduced a cool feature to help artist
    but also took down sampler from steam
    "to focus on their main software"
    right, another BS from adobe.
    I'm never paying for your software again.
