    unfortunately, if you offset horizontal and vertical at the same time, you may end up with artefacts. you should offset horizontal first, then fix the middle of the image, then offset vertical and fix that, then offset horizontal again just to make sure.

    In versions purchased on the Steam system, this iA option does not work. Only for those who "rent" the ADOBE program.
    Maybe it would be good to make this clear in your tutorial, to avoid frustration.
    As I only found out later that I couldn't do that with your tutorial hahahahahhaha

    I don't get the "category" option to choose different AI models for some reason. Has this been changed recently?

    HI, just wondering if you can help. I'm trying to export a file to Painter, but on the export as... window the materials settings isnt ticked and I can't select it. Would you know why this is.
    Sorry completely new to Substance programs

    THANKS. Excellent. But my new created material cannot be loaded by Blender, into sbsar. I have the correct plugin and can read other sbsar.
    I don't know what the problem could be.
    I can play it on Adobe Stager with no problem.
    In the export preset, the blender /Eevee cycle is enabled.
    I will try to change a lot of settings.
    If you have any idea what may be the problem, please share it. Thank you so much

      Hmm. Not sure what the issue could be but one workaround would be to just export everything as textures. You will lose the editability but at least you'll be able to work with your textures if you're on a tight deadline.

      @@marvelousdecay Thanks for your answer. Yes, very good idea. Also, at certain moment, the same texture who didn’t worked finaly worke. Maybe the Plugin have problem in Blender. Also, i always give a real dimension now when i create the materiel, for on texture, this have solve the problem.
      Also, it’s more problematic with the texture from picture i made.
      I will find the perfect export.
      See you, and thank you another time. Have a beautiful day.

    As someone who is still getting to know 3D and doesn’t have the spare change, what would you recommend as a free/cheaper alternative?

    • @marvelousdecay
      @marvelousdecay  Год назад +1

      You can give Quixel mixer a try. It's free and super capable. I think you will like it.

    nice video! Planning to make a video about substance designer to show how to make similar textures from scratch?

    it may be seamless but is it parametric in the sense that it tiles "randomly" or do you need substance designer for that too?

      I think you mean procedurally but it doesn't, with photogrammetry your stuck with your original input. Would be cool one day if Ai enabled that reshuffling of an image though!

    Is there any revolutionary tool for unwrapping or is it still painful?

    • @marvelousdecay
      @marvelousdecay  Год назад +1

      I’m mainly using Cinema or Zbrush for that. Zbrush has a cool little option where you can draw on the mesh and the program will take that into account when unwrapping.
      Cinema has some auto unwrapping but I’m not a big fan of that. But the tools to manually unwrap the mesh have improved quite a bit.

      @@marvelousdecay I have to try zbrush then, Cinema for me still bad to unwrap.

    This is fantastic! Thank you for this, really helpful. This is the sort of thing that AI excites me about - rather than generative Ai that just removes any skill from the artist.

    Hi you are good!! I have a question. I am not familiar with photoshop and these types of programs. my question is if it is possible to place this stone color with relief in shapr3d?

    • @marvelousdecay
      @marvelousdecay  8 месяцев назад

      Shapr3d doesn’t support custom materials yet. They have though a frequently updated preset material library so check that to see if there’s something there that fits your needs.
