For the Toxicheirus there could be a plant that it eats that allows it to secrete the substance. And if you ever want to go with the taming routes, only wild ones get this so tamed ones do not have the toxic secretion. It also would help to make it more territorial as it needs to protect those plants to feed off of.

Van Helsing's werewolves were the GOAT! Gotta say the white variant is my personal favourite. You could do other types of werewolf, like a red one that has been completely consumed by the dark powers
Hey, been watching some of your videos recently and as a cook, I just had to take a crack at making a pumpkin toad recipe. So here I present to you Pumpkin Toad & Seafood Gumbo. A delicious staple of the swamp lands or wherever else these animals can be found. Ingredients: 5 Tbs Butter 1/2 Cup Flour 1/2 Cup Chopped Onion 1/2 Cup Chopped Celery 1/4 Cup Chopped Red Pepper 12 Pumpkin Toad Legs 2 Tsp Blackening Seasoning 1/2 Tsp Cayenne Pepper 1 1/2 Tbsp Gumbo Filé Powder 1 Tsp Fresh Chopped Thyme (or 1/2 Tsp dried Thyme) 2 Tsp Chopped Garlic 2 Tbsp Sherry 2 Cups Chicken Stock 1 Cup Sliced Okra 1 Tsp Fresh Thyme 16 Large Shrimp 24 Mussles In a small sauté pan create a dark brown roux by combining 4 Tbsp of butter and flour and stirring over medium-low heat until dark brown with a nutty aroma. The color should be similar to chocolate. Set aside. In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, brown your Pumpkin Frog skin in the rest of your butter. Add onions, celery, red pepper, and blackened seasoning. Reduce the heat to medium and then cook for 5 minutes to sweat your vegetables. Then, add your garlic and cook for one more minute. Stir in your roux and then cook for another minute, then deglaze with your sherry. Add your chicken stock and okra, season to taste. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer and add gumbo filé, cayenne pepper and thyme. Simmer for one hour or until thick. Add shrimp and mussels and cook until the mussels open.
Roasted tadpole seeds: Simply remove guts, wash them and pat them dry, and throw them in the oven for 5-15 minutes, then add salt,(add peprika cinnamon or brown sugar before putting in the oven if you'd like) now put them in a pouch, and you have a snack on the go for your adventures
do the grasslands of hyloria next I would love to see a hyeanadon/sabretooth hybrid that can run real fast scientific name idea hyeanosmilus colors sort of like mostly smooth brown or tan with some spots or stripes or something
Ooh, I LOVE the Toxicheirus! It looks so Badass and Eerie, Fantastic Idea incorporating the Plague Doctor motif into its design! The Pumpkin looks very Interesting and Creative, looks Awesome! And Wow, that is one Epic and Powerful Werewolf! I have to agree, Van Helsing Werewolf is the Best Designed Lycanthrope! I am curious to see what a Vampire looks like, or even Dracula Dragon! And for the Next Location, how about the Land of the Ancients?
In one of my stories, I actually have a white werewolf. His name is Silverfang. He's immune to silver, which most if not all werewolves are in fact "allergic" to silver. He is a true werewolf, meaning he wasn't bit by a werewolf to become a werewolf, he was born this way. He has a brother, named Bloodfang, who has teeth and fangs the color of blood and to make him a bit creepy, I made him dark grey and black. Both of them share the same parents, so its unknown why they were born opposite colors from their brown fur parents. I do like the Pumpkin Toad. I'll have to say that's my favorite. I like frogs and toads in general.
My favorite werewolves are from The Howling. The first one, not the sequels. I like that they can transform anytime they want instead of when exposed to a full moon.
Pumpkin Toad Stew: remove the organs and tongue from the toad and save the fat before cutting the meat into decent size chunks. Pre-heat pot before adding the fat along with peppercorn, thyme, minced garlic and chopped onion. Once the fat has melted add the meat and stir for 15-20 mins until the meat is partially cooked. Remove the meat before adding 2 and a half cups of water in the same pot and stir for 5mins until the water changes colour. Once the water becomes a broth add a half a cup of chopped carrots, a cup of chopped yams, a cup of chopped irish potatoes (Or sweet potatoes) and one whole scotch bonnet pepper before adding half a cup of water, cover the pot and letting it sit for 25mins. Once time is up at the meat and cover again before letting it sit for 15mins or until the meat and veggies are extra tender. Serve with bread then enjoy. (Side note I absolutely love your vids and even inspired me to make my own book. Thank you)
Day 6 of asking for a large armored frog also what is the pumpkin frog going to do when pumpkins aren't in season as for a recipe 1. you need to kill the frog and remove its legs 2. skin the legs to expose the meat 3. your going to want to grill the legs and boil some water 4. you want to gut a pumpkin and clean it then add the pumpkin guts and some honey to the boiling water 5. add the grilled toad legs to the broth for some pumpkin toad pumpkin soap.
I like your design a lot, van helsing was also great but I kind of like the vibe of Harry Potter werewolves and how I affected people even when not in werewolf form.

At any rate, one version of lycanthropy I've written a story with (and plan to go back and flesh it out more) is actually endemic to the animal-folk it affects. Technically speaking, *everybody is always infected,* continuously and possibly even from birth, but their natural immune systems do a mostly good job of keeping it from surfacing (like after recovering from chicken pox) which allows them to have a functioning culture and civilization.
At least until somebody spontaneously transforms into a violent, belligerent beast.
