I'd imagine with his high intelligence, Toothless would determine he needs an ally and eventually end up teaming up with Kong. Could work similarly to how Mothra and Godzilla help each other in battle.
That's what a symbiotic relationship that he stated multiple times could happen. That's if kong wants to. Kong is a herbivore while toothless if a piscivore ( a species that eats fish for those who didn't know) not a carnivores
I think he might be underselling how strong the plasma blast is from a nightfury. Massive dragons like the bewildabeast and the red death were staggered and injured from a single blast. And while it's hard to compare how durable they are compared to the skull island monsters, it's reasonable to say that the nightfury would be able to do something similar.
@@MarkIsTiredAlways I'm not so sure that's true. Toothless got hit with a blast of fire from the red death in the first movie. It wasn't a direct hit sure, but he was still completely unharmed. The only damage Toothless took in that fight is when the attachment Hiccup made to let Toothless fly burned. And in the second movie, Toothless was completely frozen in ice. That ice came from a bewildabeast, a dragon capable of destroying large ships and making a massive, fortified enclosure from that same ice. And the ice that Toothless was frozen in came from a stronger member of that species than the one that made that enclosure and destroyed those ships. Not only was Toothless completely fine, but he was also able to protect Hiccup from that ice too. At the very least, those minions can't touch Toothless at all, and he can stand up to the threats much easier than what the video shows, because getting hit might not mean the instant death that you might first assume. At least not from Titanus Camazotz. He's still can't touch Kong at all.
I can definitely see Toothless and Kong forming a partnership. Upon first meeting, they’d probably be curious of each other at best, distrustful at worst. After a while, they’ll certainly come to decide that each will benefit the other.
I feel like Kong would be like: Hm a black dragon? I should kill it. Besides Toothless can’t fly without his owner depending which version of Toothless it is?
I honestly think Toothless has pretty good odds at survival. There isn't exactly a hard "shot count" that limits dragons. The vikings hypothesized that dragons have shot counts as part as their research but due to having underfed and likely weakened dragons in captivity, it's more likely that the shot limit is generally based on the dragon's overall wellbeing. Even the films and shows seem to support this as the shot counts of dragon are never consistent. Furthermore, Toothless also has access to his "Alpha mode" which he obtained back in the 2nd movie. This "Alpha mode" increases the firepower and the number of shots that Toothless can fire off in rapid succession without any visible drawback.
his shock count is 6, its mentioned by hiccup in Race to the Edge(it does hold some canonical truth, swerves from the main story in other areas but for information such as a shot count i think it would be applicable)
There is also episodes like the Tiphoomerangs on eal-island, given their immunity to the "eal-flu" they can consume them to grastically increase their "ammunition" without drawbacks.
@@mantelumgamingloilol123 not necessarily, the wing shots did need some charge-up but the mouth shot only needed to ignite the Red Death´s flammable gas.
The idea that Kong just does a special call and Toothless does an air strike. Legendary. quick edit: did not expect f this to blow up but hey, neat. thanks I guess
Lol. I can literally imagine this. Kong: (he makes the call) Human: "Holy...! (to his men) "Run for your lives! Kong just called in an air strike!" Everyone else: (fleeing from a barrage of plasma blasts) This is considering Toothless is there with a flight of his own species.
One dragon from the How to Train Your Dragon universe I would like to be given some attention is the Whispering Death. Those guys would cause absolute carnage and give most horror monsters a run for their lives if they were placed in any "serious" setting. What I'm saying is, they're way scarier than what the franchise they're from allows them to be, and I just want that potential showcased.
@@MujLovesFun This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the Screaming Death is a little overdone in terms of design, and not as scary as the Whispering Death. Don't get me wrong, it definitely looks evil with the pure red eyes, but there's something about that longer, thick blunt jaw that makes it look more cumbersome for me. It also doesn't have the rotating teeth, which is what I think makes the WD more creepy. It's basically a living shredder that can drill through rock and most likely *the bones of other dragons* as well. To me that is easily the scariest concept for a creature, especially one that's meant to be in a kid-friendly show
Another thing that works to his advantage, is that it’s a four-legged dragon, not a wyvern, meaning his wings are always free and at the ready to flap away if anything jumps him
The thing is we've seen Toothless call on lightning to kill or at least render the dragons clinging onto him useless in the hidden world while defeating grimmel. This would be the same for the minions. And as night furies can fly at the speed of sound, couldn't it fly out of the range of the sonic roar in time for it to avoid the shockwave? thats just what i think
It probably could, but wouldn't know of the abilities until after it has first learned of them. Being very intelligent can only work after learning first. So a Night Fury would first be rendered incapable of fighting back. Being swarmed by the creature's army would be a close call, as it would use its lightning ability to help it escape, but not before receiving possible wounds. Knowing a Night Fury, the same thing will not happen twice.
@@not_castlersyt9608 Of course. Toothless. And I know how quick he learns too. His first time facing a Triplestryke ring any bells. He first lost to it, then never lost to it again. And this was without the input from Hiccup.
@@Free_exp maybe the environment from the first season of ‘Primal’ would be a good pick. The underground earth in KvG could also be another setting to use
A few points I'd like to bring up is the fact that Toothless is a fish eater. The only dragons we see intentionally hunting/eating anything other than fish is the Red Death. Yes the skeleton dragon was responsible for Gobber's limbs but he was attacking first so the missing limbs were more than likely just results of the dragon protecting itself. Also, since it had been part of the island attacks it probably coughed up those pieces for the Red Death. Toothless and the dragons were very feral during the reign of Red Death meaning there's a chance Toothless may not have been as peaceful as thought but more than likely he'd avoid the conflict with larger predators just to insure his survival and bring back food to the hive. My last thought was the what if scenario of Toothless knowing about the screech and taking advantage of Camazat's (apologies if I spelt it wrong) own warm up and shooting a plasma blast into their throat via it's opening jaw. The plasma blast may not kill the creature like it did Red Death but it should render the screech unusable.
The plasma blast only killed the Red death because of the gas in its mouth building up to become either its own shot of plasma, or a deadlier shot of fire, ignited towards the insides of the dragon, its wings being too damaged to lift itself back into the air, and the beast crashing into the ground and exploding in a giant mass of fire.
@@Scar-Predator very true, thus why I commented that it probably wouldn't kill the creature but a plasma blast/ball could still do some serious damage to it's vocal cords rendering the screech useless. After that Toothless could bring it down the old fashion way.
@@Scar-Predator the red death is only shown as a fire breathing dragon, I think night&light furys are the only plasma breathing ones. I’d have to watch all the shows to know
I think toothless would do fine here. He can definitely take on the big boy skull crawler and wouldn't fight kong but instead work with him to survive. Also there is a low chance they would ever even fight the big bat titan because he dwells deep inside caves in under the island...meaning they live so far apart in environment as well as one being in daylight and the other darkness...this means they would prob never even meet
Honestly, i never really understand why Camazotz is included in the creatures of Skull Island, considering, if i remember, Camazotz isnt native to Skull Island and only showed up once
I imagine that like most of the animals on skull island and considering Dragons live for a VERY long time, toothless would eventually adapt to the environment and grow a lot in size and ability.
Changes in armour, size definetly help so that he cannot be ambushed and die or get injured badly by other smaller creature. And also a continious group attack will also help in case that he need to attack many at once. And likely for other creatures they will rather not evolve to be able to withstand any of the Nightfury blast but rather change to its behaviour since it is rather stupid to be more armoured against a predator who can shot down any beast of size and armour with easy while flying. Better for others to just adjust to have a measure of range attack to make the Nightfury more likely to run instead of destroy them while they cant do nothing against it. In conclusion toohtless beats skull island if he doesn't get 1 shot by other apex predator, or if other dont try to sneak up on him (wich is hard since he can detec danger) and have enough time to evolve to whatever means.
There are studies proving that animals born in different environments are very different in size and strength like people born in a war torn area are stronger emotionally and physically while people born new york can't carry a 10kg weight without gasping for air every 10 feet
You forgot that the night fury also has a second phase where the spikes on his back split in half and somehow allows him to make really tight turns which ups his maneuverability even more
In all fairness that's like giving the flash better running shoes. Yes it's an improvement but he's already so fast and maneuverable that it doesn't make a huge difference.
Yeah, I'd say a night fury has a pretty solid survival chance. The island is constantly surrounded by a storm and (as they pointed out) the phyco vultures lightning breath would make cloaking easy and his plasma bolts'll shred through anyone and if you still believe in the shot limit thing go back and count every time Toothless shot the Red Death and Drago's Bewilderbeast onscreen you'd find he has an at least 11 shots. Plenty of ammo to dish out huge damage.
not to mention that toothless is a night fury and night furies can easily blend in either in the night or a dark storm and considering he can fly and the skullcrawler can't, I'd say toothless has a chance in surviving
I could definitely see Toothless and Kong forming a symbiotic relationship. Realistically, it's the most likely outcome of these two were to meet, provided they didn't get off on the wrong foot.
Hell yeah, we got HTTYD into the channel! I hope you will include the Bewilderbeast in your video in the future. The King of Dragons is classified as Titan class dragon! He would _perfectly_ fit with your channel.
@@indiriyat bro that shit isn't going to work on king Ghidorah, not only is he far larger but you need a a lot of ice that's heavy enough to put king Ghidorah out for good, something the bewilderbeast doesn't have.
Mmmmhhh, yea he can be a Low S class, in the monsterverse a lot of dragon and people are scared of the Nightfury species, so that’s means the nightfury dragons species are stronger than the other species
You forgot about something, his Alpha State. While this forms main ability, the power to control other weaker dragons, is rendered mute for this simulation his other gained ability, the loss of a shot limit would definitely be a boon for his survival. While it wouldn't really do anything to his rank in the food chain, it's still something worth bringing up.
I don’t think Toothless’s alpha state actually controls the dragons like the alpha in HTTYD, it’s more like the weaker dragons realise and respect his power, so treat him like a king. Which is possible because the other dragons are also intelligent. But wouldn’t work on creature that live on Skull Island who likely function on basic survival instincts. But the powered up shots do definitely help, being able to shatter a tusk that thick would mean that a single shot would in all honestly cave in smaller creatures. Still, it wouldn’t survive an onslaught against the giant bat and its army
This is what I was saying also toothless Easily defeat Draco's bewilder beast in the alpha state though if toothless were to go all out he would win leaving camazot most definitely dead or spared depending on the choices of what toothless does
@@whitewingedfox9879 if you looks at the tusk toothless broke off it was already under stress due to the shackles on it. It also broke in that exact spot. While the shots are very powerful on the regular they didn't just effortlessly snap the tusk, but toothless was able to pinpoint a weakness in his foe, that shackle. Same with him shooting a shot down the red deaths throat. (But that may have just been good timing because he was acting very frantically there). It's been shown he can evaluate a situation and amount of power he needs to exert very well. Him being able to spot a weakness, evaluate the amount of power he must use, and gun it into submission or straight up kill it without wasteing a unnecessary amount of energy would be a better thing to have imo.
Nightfurys would definitely fit the skull island niche of a mid tier predator. With toothless intelligence and passive demeanor until provoked I'm sure he'd thrive. He wouldn't disrupt island balance being a nocturnal fish eater and if he and Kong ever did meet up they'd identify the others sentience and possibly form a symbiosis. Also was it ever mentioned the maximum age or size a night fury because exposure to hollow earth energy could grant toothless a beneficial kaiju mutation.
@@amateurtries7542 hear me out, Godzilla apart from having no wings to fly exhibits many of the same abilities that Night Furies have especially lightning and plasma based attacks. So what if Godzilla IS the mutation of a Night Fury?
If Toothless can fry a 400 ft dragon from the inside out, I think he would be able to recuperate from afar when learning when to fry the giant flying bastard as well. It'd take him a couple of tries, but I have faith in the Night Fury's survival, especially if he could ally with Kong.
Idk if Toothless would be able to take out something that could screech at him and daze him, but he could absolutely destroy the smaller ones (potentially with his ability to call lightning to himself and electrocute anything that is too close to him before he vanishes) and I bet he’d learn to avoid the large one very easily. If he had to take it down, I bet he could, but it would be high risk and he’d probably come out of that fight injured
There's also the matter of Night Furies being able to enter some kind of charged state where they being to glow blue. In this charged state that's normally reserved for challenging Alphas, the Night Fury has no shot limit, being able to let loose infinite max-power plasma blasts. Apparently ALL dragons are capable of entering a state like this when they want to challenge Alphas. I'm guessing dragons with no elemental breath like Speed Stingers are the exceptions.
@@difubao8882 Yes there are two forms all dragons can become titanwings after growing to a extent But all dragons also have a "alpha form" like toothless And the thing is that we've never seen a titanwing nightfury so toothless could get unbelievably stronger then we know
It’d be super interesting to think about if/how the Red Death would survive on skull island, as unlike Toothless, scale is not much of a problem. Would it completely dominate the playing field, get overrun, or simply rest in a volcano?
Completely dominate, it’s a huge fast flying monster that can shoot out fire. Titanus Camazotz or kong would do nothing against it, kong would simply burn while camazotz would get crushed by the red death.
@@Itsmekeurus Kong's faster and more agile on land than he looks. The Red Death is a lumbering whale. Remember, RD was floored for a well-timed plasma blast from Toothless. A few good blows to the head from Kong and RD is done.
Hey goji center, I have something interesting to tell you. While the red death's official size is 400 feet long, when you compare it to the other dragon's, it seems to be a bit of an under scaling. It is simular to the screaming death (who's official size is 50 feet, but when compared to other dragons, you'd realize that 50 feet is way too small). The monstrous nightmare which is a 60 foot long dragon is smaller than the red death's head. The red death's head alone is like twice the size of a monstrous nightmare, which means it's head alone is somewhere around 100 feet long. Going with that and comparing the red death's head to it's entire body, I would say the red death would be around 1000-1200 feet long (2.5 to 3 times it's official size)
@@RohanC24 that the smallest estimate I've seen. The medium estimate I've seen is 365 feet (which is probably the most common your gonna hear other's say) And the largest is 200 meters (or 656 feet). While you might think this is a sketch, a difference between this estimate and the other's is that unlike the other's, I've actually seen the person who made this estimate use a scene from the series to make an accurate size comparison between the screaming death and toothless. And keep in mind that this estimate (and I'm pretty sure all other estimates) is from dragon riders of berk, which means the screaming death is bigger in dragons race to the edge
@@stabfenn2960 yeah but it can also be that the they don't fully get how to size scale and give very inaccurate number to what they really show (screaming death and eruptodon being perfect examples)
Forgot one ability: Alpha In theory, after defeating Camazotz, the Night Fury can dominate Camazotz minions. Granting him dominion over the skies of Skull Island and unlike Camazotz, the Night Fury won't be limited to night time activity.
Kong is an alpha Godzilla is an alpha mothra is an alpha Ghidorah was an alpha so therefore after killing camazotz it would make sense that toothless gains alpha status over all of his or her whichever agenda this creature is he would gain control over their minions
I absolutely love this concept! Toothless being the fierce (yet adorable) badass that he is would handle himself quite well on Skull Island... even more so if he's lucky enough to get some help from Kong but honestly think he wouldn't need any as long as he keeps his guard up. Even if he lost his ability to fly, he'd still be a force to be reckoned with and survive for a good amount of time. Well done, Goji Center on the awesome video as always! 😊
the fact that he can fly is one of the biggest factors going for toothless as it gets rid of a lot of threats from ground rooted predators. If he weren't able to fly then he wouldn't even get far before being hunted down by a pack of skull crawlers or any other predator. Sure he might put a good fight but once they get in close, he's done for.
@@LightSeerzKing I wouldn't go so far as to say that. Skull Crawlers, especially the larger ones would mess him up pretty good but considering he's battled up against similar sized dragons before and most of the time he didn't even need to fly to beat them, I think it's safe to say that he can incapacitate a larger Crawler and get away before he ends up becoming lunch if he is not allowed to fly. If we give him the ability to fly, then he would have a significant advantage over a good majority of the creatures on Skull Island; big or small.
@@드래곤원-h4j I understand that viewpoint. Don't really fully agree with it though. Not saying Toothless is invincible and he would dominate the entire Island but with all the things he's done in the movies and TV shows, even without flight... I think he can handle at least a pack of Death Jackals or two juvenile Skull Crawlers. It's only when he gets up to the big boys like fully grown Skull Crawlers, Camazotz or even Kong if he gets on his bad side, he would not have a good time.
@@treyrex5987 The thing is, toothless's only real weapon is his plasma blast. All other methods of attack can't do much to predators that are similar or bigger in size to him. Now if he were to snipe them before they can get close? He'd win no problem. But against something like a hoard of juvenile Skull crawlers? He'd be overwhelmed by the numbers real quick due to needing a charge up time for each blast in order to kill. Not going for the kill and only doing damage won't do much as he'd still be overwhelmed in numbers. The only real reason toothless is even getting the chance to survive on Skull Island is due to his flight giving him the advantage in range, his plama blast giving him a proper method of offense and defense, and his heightened senses alerting him of danger. Take even one of those out and he's not going to last long. Without flight, he doesn' have range advantage so he can't rely on plasma blast that much due to charge time. Without blast, he has no proper method of attacking threats. Without heightened senses, he's gonna get ambushed easily. His camouflage is more situational and his claws and tail aren't going to be doing much against predators of similar size that are much more used to the terrain.
Would love to see this with some of the other dragons, could be interesting. Like the Monstrous nightmare, like it can literally light itself on fire and just wear it like a coat and climb walls like a gecko.
It would. I dont think the Monstrous Nightmare would fare too well though. It’s a bit on the slower and bulkier dragon side, which against other dragons is fine but against stronger enemies like titans would be a disadvantage. And lighting itself on fire actually comes from its skin seeping a flammable ooze, like our skin seeps oils and sweat. So when that runs out, it might be done for. It would be cool to see though. Maybe a thunderdrum or a whispering death
@Issnake 1 well, it seems generally quick when climbing around the cage with Hiccup, almost gecko like. And the self engulfing in flame thing would obviously be purely defensive. And its fire is almost like a liquid, which is scary. I would think it would take the neche of a large flammable gecko 😆
The picture of Kong and a Nightfury chilling near a lake brings me much joy. Dragon sitting on monkeys shoulder, while the big boi shares freshly fried octopus to his flying buddy!
Here's a scenario, what if Toothless's mate was with him? If a single Night Fury was that dangerous, than the Light Fury being added to the mix would make them nearly untouchable, even more so if Kong was their ally.
well yes she would be dedly but they would need an entire army to be fully unstopable or maybe 10 night furys 5 male 5 female so they could repopurlate and have numbers and sure inbreeding is a problem but its nkt as big of a problem and if it all worked out there would be 100ds of them wich would be enough to control the island with an iron fist alongside kong

Well, Pikachu would probably have a pretty good chance to be honest. Don't forget, most Pokémon are hardwired for battle. We've seen Pikachu in both thr anime and manga create lightning bolts capable of destroying a small city, not to mention lightning attacks that can reach 10 million volts. Excluding Kong and perhaps the giant bat, I'd say Pikachu has some pretty good chances.
You do know that Toothless himself is a young nightfury right? Over a life span of roughly 250 years, it will show growth and change. The Toothless we know is half the size.
That's true, there are Titan Wing dragons and Toothless has the potential to grow into one himself. And like you mention, Titan Wings are at least twice as big as their regular adult individuals.
So, Toothless, will grow to 16m long, 4m wide, and have a 30 meter wingspan? I did a rough calculation. Wait, does the difference between titan wings and normal “Fury’s” relate to the difference between night fury’s and light fury’s? If so, then toothless’s ability to control electro-magnetic fields (his ability to charge lightning to completely cloak, or, when his body glowed blue in the finale of movie 2) could possibly relate to him being the titan wing class of Fury’s?
@@simondowns9436 "Titan Wing" is the very last stage of life for a dragon. So in other words, seniors/elderly dragons are Titan Wings. As Toothless took just as long as Hiccup to grow into an adult, it's plausible that Toothless' Titan Wing phase is (at the very least) decades away still.

something that i think should be brought up is that creatures such as a the siren jaw and mire squid would have a hard time sneaking up on toothless (and other night furies) due to his extremely acute senses and intelligence- an episode in rtte showed he was able to detect the presence of gremora parasites in a body of water after getting splashed once. to explain, grenoras are these little things that release toxins that cause a dragon to go “crazy”/wild despite being trained. with this in mind, shouldn’t this alleviate if not outright solve the issue of being ambushed by skull island’s aquatic predators? not to mention, his alpha mode removes the shot limit which helps him tremendously in prolonged battles
Indeed, but every creature can make a mistake. It's easy to sense things when alert and ready, but weary after a battle? It only takes one slip up to get injured and once injured its only a matter of time.
I really love how you analyze those stuff so deep. Seriously, I thought first "Well... Idk if he could survive I mean-" but with the analyzing in the video I really seems understandable. and I think so after every video I've seen from this channel so far. Glad I've subscribe to you
How about metaphorically speaking: If the Night Fury lived in packs, with a number of 1-10 Night Furies, how would their chances of surviving on Skull Island change?
I imagine toothless adapt to the skull island environment , his scale gets tougher, and his wings has a thruster like Valtrax in Monster Hunter which make him more stupidly fast than the past, since he also has cloaking abilities and can absorb lightning element it would get amplified even more, and maybe by luck Toothless will get a regenerative abilities although not faster but still viable to enough to add to his survivability, I find it wholesome that Kong and Toothless will be a buddy-buddy, just imagine Kong just laying there doing nothing, just chilling then here goes Toothless after a wonderful day of hunting food(Fish), will immediately go to Kong just to cuddle then proceed to sleep,Then Kong get confused but will not mind it.
Love your videos! The fact that youre able to analyze weaknesses and strength of every creature, and determine the winner of every scenario whith graphic describing and good animated effects, is absolutely mind-blowing
I thought Toothless would be killed easily because of his height, but apparently, he stands a better chance than most creatures. Also, I love the part where creatures just continually get hit by a plasma blast. 😂
The team-up / best friends combo was my first idea here. Both Tootless and Kong are in fact quite similar in temperament. I can easily see them ending up at least tolerating each other after the first meeting, and once any Skullclawler gets into a picture to getting rid of it together. And that would just be the start. Also they're combo cover a lot, because Nightfury truly contains a punch, even given its smaller size. With the extremely high speed and even cloaking ability it's easy to manage landing said strike. And who can face Kong when being bombarded by such dangerous plazma attacks? :)
Honestly, Toothless lives in a somewhat realistic world, wheres theres a food chain. Of course, Skull island sorta of has a food chain too, however, the chances of survival in Skull island (or monsterverse in general) is defined by how well you can fight, since there is no running away from a scuffle unless you're fighting against a Alpha, where you can just simply avoid fighting them by getting on their good side, and looking at Toothless, he doesn't seem to be very adaptated for physical fighting, which is the go to for various monsters in the world of Godzilla. Ps: you forgot to mention Kong's relationship with the Kiwi people, if Kong and Toothless form a bond, Toothless could live with the Kiwi people, which could provide him with food and shelter, he would protect them from danger with Kong aswell, and warning him when something beyond his level appears so they could team up.
Toothless would absolutely dominate, and with the dangerous conditions toothless would have the environmental factors required to evolve to a TitanWing
Titan Wing Night Fury is a terrifying concept. Toothless can already challenge Bewilderbeasts, and Titan Wing forms are generally more powerful. I would love to see how something like that would work though.
Considering Night Furies have vastly more pound for pound strength than any other dragon (they are 2.5x stronger than even a Monstrous Nightmare who can lift multiple tons), a Titan Wing Alpha Mode Night Fury would be horrifying. He'd double in size and power and have an infinite shot count as well as that same body weight strength, except now twice as big. Basically impossible to deal with. At that point he could physically compete with the Skull Crawlers and Kong, and the crazy thing is: He wouldn't have to. He could just melt them in two hits.
You should also look more at the other dragons in the HTTYD universe and Toothless’s interactions with them to get a true idea about just how well toothless would fair. It should also be noted in the sonic screech area that Toothless has withstood direct blasts from thunder drums who have a comparable but slightly less power sonic attack. Toothless has also withstood a powerful shockwave from a catastrophic quaken. For the psycho birds Toothless had defeated a skrill before on several occasions and that was before he gained increased maneuverability, shot power, and the ability to absorb lightning. For dealing with ambush predators toothless has reacted insanely quickly before and is able to fire of a much weaker plasma blast at a moment’s notice. And toothless has dodged ambush predators before like change wings, snow wraiths, speed stingers, and death songs on multiple occasions. For feeding Toothless mostly relies on a diet primarily fish, chicken, or sheep and since it’s an island in the ocean there are abundant supplies of large fish nearby.
I can honestly see toothless and Kong working together since they’d cover each other’s short comings such as with toothless covering kong with any aerial fighting if need required
I think that making a video on Would A Bewilder Beast Survive A Night On Skull Island, would be amazing as this is an incredibly strong alpha category dragon . I think adding all pros and cons of the Bewilder Beast would be an interesting adventure.
The way you narrate this video for some reason, made me feel like it was the hunger games and it brought me go much nostalgia from my hunger games phase and I love it
Ok, but if it’s one night it’s unlikely that Toothless is going to encounter The giant underground bat, he would most likely stick to the sky’s and open areas that ensure an escape route.
im not quite sure about that, nightfuries usually live in caves, but as seen in the series, nightfuries have an echolocation ability they could use to sense a predator
Perhaps Toothless’s sense of smell to danger is similar to how a Xenomorph smells. It’s smell to danger would have to be based on the type pheromones that come off a creature or individual such passive, moderate, or grave threat. Plus I’m very sure that both Toothless and Kong could coexist together whether Kong was a teenager or full grown. Kong fights in the ground while Toothless fights in the air, similar to Goji and Mothra.
When I saw the thumbnail, I actually felt like that would be a possible demise. All that needs to happen is for the skull crawler to wrap it's tongue around Toothless's wings, mouth, and legs, to restrain him, before being able to safely eat him.
Toothless when restrained is capable of emitting some sort of shock wave to break out of it. I am pretty sure it's lightning? So the tongue would instinctively back up.
Not to mention if toothless ever does get entrapped then all he has to do is maneuver himself nd shoot a plasma blst right into the mouth of the skull crawler which will surely be fatal.
@@phoebusapollo8365 toothless only reaches those speeds when diving I'm pretty sure and even then multiple fodder minions are capable of keeping up with jets easily
@@KvngLeroy1 there are estimates that support Toothless being supersonic only when diving, and estimates that support Toothless being supersonic without needing to dive.
You forgot one thing… toothless could just fire an shot inside of Camazotz's mouth and possibly disable its screech as he did with the red death as any creature is weaker on the inside than the outside and also he could become his "alpha form" as seen in HTTYD 2 when he fought the wilderbeast.
Only once it knows it can actually do that attack, and getting hit by the sonic screech once could spell death if he gets hit at the wrong time. But yes if he survives that one time he will most likely get hit he should be able to cancel it with well placed shots anytime camazotz's tries which will allow him to flee before the little buggers start swarming.
I’ve been pleasantly proven wrong, Toothless would stand a very good chance of surviving on Skull Island. However, I was correct about him having a very tough time against Camizotz and his legion of minions. You guys forgot to mention how Toothless would fair against the Leaf Wings, though.
@@kronoseditz2091 bud do you have a clue on how strong camizotz is? It nearly killed kong, and it's far and far more powerful than any titan dragon, toothless isn't winning, at all.
@@Mr.Wetherilli “Nearly” Killing Kong isn’t an impressive feat. Because literally almost any titan so far in the monsterverse can either kill kong or give him a really hard time. And even so toothless can do the same thing. Kongs durability is trash. Toothless’s Plasma is about 20,000 degrees which is enough to hurt kong. Hell even the red death would beat kong. I know toothless isn’t winning but he’s definitely putting up a fight. He’s way faster and his plasmas could do damage.

I noticed that watching this it reminded me Skull Island speeds up evolution. We don’t know what Toothless can evolve into in the island, but he will probably be much bigger then he is now.
I kinda feel like Toothless would end up being buddies with Kong, probably riding on his shoulder like a parrot and fighting foes together... whoops, got to 11:15 and you're basically addressing this now...
at this point, Goji Center is treating Skull Island as the "basic training" of the Monsterverse if that makes sense. If you can survive skull island, you're a respected titan.
Night furies, once charged can also fire rapid blasts of about mid yield. The bright flash of the plasma/explosion would also be good for stunning nocturnal predators.
Night furies are my favorite dragons (for obvious reasons) but I think he won’t need the electric camouflage because his scales blend in well with the night sky.
Toothless could just camp near Kong's home for the night. He would probably make a temporary alliance by giving Kong food or something and in turn Kong would let him stay for a little while also protecting Toothless.
I imagine that Toothless could only pose a threat to Kong in his adolescent stage. Don't forget that he got him by Godzilla's atomic fire and just needed to pat down his shoulder for a moment before getting back up.
If I recall correctly Kong didn’t get the full brunt of atomic blast. It was a graze. A full on atomic blast would kill Kong. This is why they gave him axe to even the playing field for a bit.
@@Arcad1010 honestly, not sure. Red Death was stunned by a mid power shot of young Toothless. One presumably max power blast broke a bewilderbeast horn with sheer impact, not the explosion, which would most likely leave a big wound on Kong, and since Toothless can shower him with such blasts for unconditional amount of time with pinpoint accuracy, Kong has a bit of a problem. However I do not think Toothless will fight Kong at all, logically.
Wait doesn’t the Night Fury feed on fish? Wouldn’t it make more sense for Toothless to stick to the shoreline and hunt for fish there? Or maybe hunt for Fish in the lakes and rivers around where the Iwi natives make their home. As Toothless has shown it can make a symbiotic relationship with the natives, he protects them from the other dangerous creatures in the island, and in exchange they offer food to him, in addition to what he hunts.

@@MarkIsTiredAlways furie nocturne ne peut être le roi et peut être tué très facilement par les titans de île

One dragon from the How to Train Your Dragon universe I would like to be given some attention is the Whispering Death. Those guys would cause absolute carnage and give most horror monsters a run for their lives if they were placed in any "serious" setting. Why not Screaming Death? then again its scarier to die by a Whisper than to ever let anyone know you died bc of a Scream
@@MujLovesFun
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think the Screaming Death is a little overdone in terms of design, and not as scary as the Whispering Death.

After that Toothless could bring it down the old fashion way.

this combined with the night fury's high intelligence would mean it would only allow one screech off before it knows to move to disable that attack
Toothless could be more nocturnal as he has eyes with very good light receptors
It would seem to me that a NIGHTfury would traditionally operate at night.
Night furies are not only supposed to be nocturnal but also are pretty decently fond of caves, so might be an issue there
Honestly, i never really understand why Camazotz is included in the creatures of Skull Island, considering, if i remember, Camazotz isnt native to Skull Island and only showed up once
I imagine that like most of the animals on skull island and considering Dragons live for a VERY long time, toothless would eventually adapt to the environment and grow a lot in size and ability.
Evolution takes to many years but he definitely Adapt much much more creating strategies of hunting
Nah, he doesn't need a bigger size. I'd imagine he would opt for faster speed if he Cound evolve.
@@oldbot64 well yeah of course he doesn’t need to be HUGE. But I differ like a decent increase in size and wingspan couldn’t hurt.

Idk if Toothless would be able to take out something that could screech at him and daze him, but he could absolutely destroy the smaller ones (potentially with his ability to call lightning to himself and electrocute anything that is too close to him before he vanishes) and I bet he’d learn to avoid the large one very easily.
Yeah, the screaming death’s real length is estimated between 200-300ft which is definitely more accurate to the size u see in httyd

Nah, he would get discombobulated by a skull crawler. Lets just say he can fly
the fact that he can fly is one of the biggest factors going for toothless as it gets rid of a lot of threats from ground rooted predators.

If a single Night Fury was that dangerous, than the Light Fury being added to the mix would make them nearly untouchable, even more so if Kong was their ally.
yeah
Nah
well yes she would be dedly but they would need an entire army to be fully unstopable or maybe 10 night furys 5 male 5 female so they could repopurlate and have numbers and sure inbreeding is a problem but its nkt as big of a problem and if it all worked out there would be 100ds of them wich would be enough to control the island with an iron fist alongside kong

i was thinking for most of this video that toothless and kong simply wouldn't bother to fight each other given how intelligent they both are, glad you brought it up. sort of a 'crows allying with wolves' scenario, i could see kong and toothless having a symbiotic partnership.
i wonder if pikachu could survive here... he's small, but quick, and perhaps small enough to go unnoticed?
Probably make it a group of 50 pikachu so that they can make use of those lightning storms they generate.
Ash's pikachu? Or a normal Pikachu very important difference cause 1 has plot armor and therefore cannot die
@@cloakedcarp ash's pikachu's plot armour would be counteracted by the edgier and darker setting - in such settings, the odds of a MC's adorable animal companion being slaughtered as part of the storyline (see hedwig, artax etc) to have the readers be exposed to the grief of losing a loved one without losing a speaking member of the cast - often as a shortcut to maturity in coming-of-age narratives - is very common.
Excluding Kong and perhaps the giant bat, I'd say Pikachu has some pretty good chances.
doubtful. I see pikachu getting eaten here. Remember, Pikachu's a rodent. A rat.
You do know that Toothless himself is a young nightfury right? Over a life span of roughly 250 years, it will show growth and change. The Toothless we know is half the size.
Hold up that’s kinda scary bruh
you got a point. toothless at the end of the third movie is roughly around 30
Wow, actually nice. The symbiosis between Kong & Toothless would definitely help the Night Fury to survive in the Skull island.
I totally agree that Toothless would form a bond with Kong once they've established that they could benefit with one another. Both of them are mostly peaceful creatures and wouldn't harm the other animals unless they're either hunting or defending themselves.

Which, if he's trying to chill and sleep, could pose a problem. If yhey can climb, considering we once see him sleeping upside down on a branch like a bat.
Really cool hypothetical video! It's super interesting and caught my eye immediately.
This was a great video and great insight into all of Nightfury's abilities
Two things I would mention is that while Toothless is the alpha, he does have the entire dragon fleet behind him so in a way, he does have minions
Secondly, he doesnt have a sonic screech per say but he does screech very loudly in the air, causing human ears to bleed so I am unsure whether Titanus would manage to damage a nightfury's hearing with a sonic screech ^.^
But then... I am biased because I friggin love toothless

And Toothless can just bombard Camazotz's insides whenever he uses his sonic screech. Plus he can fly for hours, if not days.
Before he even tried to flee, the sonic screech would leave Toothless bewildered. There wouldn't be time for him to run away from the area.

It would be so interesting to see how the deathgripper does on skull island. Considering they’ve almost given toothless a run for his money plus the fact they have high weaponized poison it would be really interesting to see!
something that i think should be brought up is that creatures such as a the siren jaw and mire squid would have a hard time sneaking up on toothless (and other night furies) due to his extremely acute senses and intelligence- an episode in rtte showed he was able to detect the presence of gremora parasites in a body of water after getting splashed once. to explain, grenoras are these little things that release toxins that cause a dragon to go “crazy”/wild despite being trained. with this in mind, shouldn’t this alleviate if not outright solve the issue of being ambushed by skull island’s aquatic predators? not to mention, his alpha mode removes the shot limit which helps him tremendously in prolonged battles
Indeed, but every creature can make a mistake. It's easy to sense things when alert and ready, but weary after a battle? It only takes one slip up to get injured and once injured its only a matter of time.
I really love how you analyze those stuff so deep. Seriously, I thought first "Well... Idk if he could survive I mean-"

Kong calling in an air-strike with Toothless responding is something I never thought I'd ever hear and is the coolest thing I've ever imagined.

Ok, but if it’s one night it’s unlikely that Toothless is going to encounter The giant underground bat, he would most likely stick to the sky’s and open areas that ensure an escape route.
im not quite sure about that, nightfuries usually live in caves, but as seen in the series, nightfuries have an echolocation ability they could use to sense a predator
the best escape would be a narrow tunnel tho
Except for the fact that Toothless has supersonic flight and maneuverability. And can summon lightning to his person.

The fact throw a jet fighter like an darts
To be more specific, he said “It’s the wing and tail you need to hit. If it can’t fly, it can’t get away.”
That’s an “if” situation which most likely wouldn’t happen
Don't forget how bright his fully charged plasma blast is and his lightning camo he basically uses the power of 100 lightbulbs to turn invisible
The collaboration between Kong and toothless is some thing that I now need to see.

Wait doesn’t the Night Fury feed on fish? Wouldn’t it make more sense for Toothless to stick to the shoreline and hunt for fish there? Or maybe hunt for Fish in the lakes and rivers around where the Iwi natives make their home.
