My ebrake part of the mechanism seems to be stuck now that its cold outside, cause the car to be somewhat Inna brake mode, even my brake lamp bulb activates as well because of this I believe... You sure had those looking kool asf, seems imma haffi acquire a pair and nice up,my main function tho is the ebrake part that's so damn hard to move, love how you moved yours with the fingers, thats the goal I want more than anything else right now..
Twice a yr,lawd I guess these were made kinda bad then, lol. I wanted to squeeze some kinda penetrating lubricant down the ebrake cables and also the calipers in efforts to have them working somewhat normally.. And you look familiar fam, swear I've stopped at you home with my cuz,you both are bmw fanatics..😆
Once upon a time this guy that goes by the same name as me. Tried to replace the rear brakes. But he forgot the parking break was on. Needless to say... Here I am. Don't be like guy that happens to have the same name as me.
Because there are no kits for the rear unless you buy a expensive kit for 1500. The rear only does 25 to 30 % of the stopping and it's not worth it to me.
Thanks. I bought some used ones from an Auto Wreckers and then powder coated them myself. Keep watching for when I put in the front calipers on - they're going to look AMAZING.
F.A.T mods just wondering I'm changing my fronts to the Acura rl calipers. Do I just keep the back one as the Honda calipers and rotors or do I also change the back to the Acura calipers also
You did not put the caliper pin rubber boots. Brake dust , water and debris will eventually get into those pins and they will seize. You have to secure those caliper pin boots.
I know they were on there but it was not snugged in. The boot should flex when you move the pin back and forth like you did. That boot was not connected on the bottom caliper bracket.
Agreed, the boot was not seated properly into the caliper bracket where the pin is located. I did my brakes recently and had to replace that rubber boot, which is difficult to seat it into the bracket. You need to push really hard to get it in place. If you don't dirt and water will get into the caliper pin and it to seizing. If the boot is installed correctly it should behave like an accordion when the pin is pulled outwards.
@@SoukaDeezNutz yeah what the heck lol. Those rubber boots should completely seal the pin not freely move with it. The powder coating might of covered the area where the boots should sit in. Those will start to rust and seize up within a year or so depending where he lives
Hey what’s up brother just letting you know I’m a fan of your work. Currently I’m doing the front and rear calipers On my 2017 Accord. Who was the guy who reassembled your rear calipers because my powder coating guy says he couldn’t disassemble them
F.A.T mods hey brother hope all is well. Just a question, if I change my front calipers over to the RL ones with the big brake rotors. What about the back. Would they also work with big rotors or do you just keep the regular size ones on it
Hey brother just been watching your videos they look fantastic you look so familiar brother I don't know if you're from Hamilton or not but if you are hit me up on my page love to see if you can help me fix up my car I have a 2014 Honda Accord
I'm sure not every video shows every step and the reason i didn't bleed the brakes and they are hanging from the lines is because i did upgrade to stainless steel lines. People like you only look for the negative. If you don't like my content, don't watch buddy. Laters!

You have to use it all the time or it will seize up
I use it everyday, but the cold weather seems to be bugging it these days,I've found it to work much better in warmer temperatures..
The cold will do that. Remember to do maintenance twice a year

Is it hard to bleed the brakes? Also what model Honda ?
No just watch any RUclips video 2013 accord v6 HFP
Did you have to bleed your brakes? Wasn't mentioned
Everytime you remove calipers you have to bleed the brakes
Where did you buy the caliper sir?
Those are the original calipers
He powder coated them himself for the 100th time. 😂
Just wondering how to take the e brake off the caliper
Once upon a time this guy that goes by the same name as me. Tried to replace the rear brakes. But he forgot the parking break was on. Needless to say... Here I am. Don't be like guy that happens to have the same name as me.
Ok
If you upgraded the fronts with 4 piston Brembo & steel brake lines; why not do the same for the rear?
Because there are no kits for the rear unless you buy a expensive kit for 1500. The rear only does 25 to 30 % of the stopping and it's not worth it to me.
Are those going to fit my 2014 accord sport ?
Its the same one on your car they are factory calipers
Easier and less mess if you put the brake line on last
If you say so
@@FATmods At least for me it was easier. Great video, nice and clear - keep up the videos
👍🏾👍🏾
Dont let your caliper hang or it may damage the brake line.
If you look you see I changed the lines
Did you even refill brake fluid that dripped out? Did you remove the air from the brake lines?
If you watch the other videos you will see I changed brake lines and bleed everything
Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure that people should know that it's not as simple as putting the brake lines back on and putting the tire back on.
No worries thanks for watching and watch the bmw videos too
Where can I buy some stock callipers?
I got mine from ebay
Did you have any problems with air getting into the line? Also, did you have to bleed?
Every time you remove a caliper you have to bleed
F.A.T mods thank you for your reply. Good video by the way.
@@Meechmanbino 👍🏾
F.A.T mods bleed all calipers or the ones just replaced?
@@Meechmanbino all
Where u get those?
They are the stock brakes I just powered coated them
Is that rear Caliper from an 05 RL, if so does it just bolt on or does it need an adapter like the front caliper? Thank you for your time
No they are stock honda accord calipers
hello dude, and the rubber cuff on the spike, you on one side is not fixed in the brake unit
Nice work man, where did you get the calipers from?
Thanks. I bought some used ones from an Auto Wreckers and then powder coated them myself. Keep watching for when I put in the front calipers on - they're going to look AMAZING.

Does powder coat able to smooth out alots the cast iron surface? Look very nice man.
Yes and you pet 2 coats
good job. love the color
Thanks, It's called illusion orange and keep watching for more videos

All the boots were on there are no more boots. If you have a different year yours might be different
