I watched this video on Saturday night, ordered the 60 sheet vinyl pack from Kassa on Sunday evening and it was delivered this morning (Tuesday) 14/12/21. I cut stickers to decorate my machine then personalized a mug and HTV'd a logo on a t-shirt for a friend. So glad I came across your channel.
Thank you 😊. You can have such a lot of fun decorating with adhesive vinyl and the ScanNCut does an excellent job cutting both adhesive and heat transfer vinyl. Enjoy.
Hi there. I have a question I haven't purchased a machine yet but I have been looking at the scan and cut sdx 125 and I realize that there was no roll feeder with this model but my question is if you want to make a large wooden sign would it be possible to make it with this model? I'm thinking then I am probably going to need to make separate pieces is that correct? I'm a little bit intimidated by all of this. But I love you videos you have such a calm soothing voice that it makes it a little bit easier to understand. Thank you
My apologies for not responding sooner Lucy...we missed your comment for some reason. When you say wooden sign, do you mean you want to cut wood with the machine or do you want to cut vinyl to place on the wood?
@@alandacraft oh no problem I was just asking the question....if I wanted to make a large/long vinyl would I be able to do that without the roll feeder? I have a long narrow board and so that's what I was interested in doing probably a yardstick long and maybe 15 in wide I think it is. So of course the vinyl doesn't have to be those dimensions exactly but that's the space I'm trying to fill. I guess what I'd like to do is make vinyls but use them as stencils so that it looks hand-painted.
I haven't used it on cups etc so I haven't had to seal my projects. However, there are lots of videos and websites that show how to seal the vinyl. Here is a link to a lady who uses Modge Podge. It seems to be the most used product. ruclips.net/video/rRiSVUhEUa8/видео.html
SO very confusing! That’s why I’ve not done anything yet with my machine ….some videos show vinyl side down…your’s shows vinyl side up (?) I’m so confused! HELP
I have a problem that I can't solve. I'm trying to cut 0.07mm adhesive vinyl foil. As long as it's big piece without details, it's fine. But if something that I want to cut has a little more details and it's small, it's starting to rip these small part off no matter which settings I set. Of course I have half cut set on and I tried to set negative blade values. It is not only ripping tese small parts but almost cutting through 2nd layer too. I don't know what to do anymore.
Often it may be the blade. If you haven't changed the blade lately that may be the problem. Sometimes the pattern may be too intricate to create the result you want. Unfortunately, the machine can only do so much.

Sorry Catherine, but the masks for disease control are made in a specific way for them to be effective. So I don't think that anything we could design would meet the Health Department requirements

I'm new at the vinyl cutting and you made it look easy and simple. THANKS!
Thank you Darlene. It's such fun to create things with vinyl. Have fun creating :)
Thank you for making a DX machine example video that is easy to follow. This is my first time using vinyl with my scan n cut. So excited to try it.
Excellent Kim. The ScanNCut makes it really easy to do.
Thank you for such an easy to do video. I have never done this with my scan n cut. Now I am not afraid to try.
Excellent Pam. Playing with vinyl is lots of fun, nothing that requires a label is safe. :)
Thanks for the video & thanks to Kassa for the discount.
Am new to vinyl cutting and this video is very interesting and helpful thankyou ❤

Thanks!!! Excelent video😊 greetings from Guatemala 🇬🇹
Thank you, glad you like it.
What do you do to save instead of applying them immediately onto something?
Thank you for that video,it was useful.
Excellent, good to hear Caroline.

Hi Alanda!! A little off topic was just wondering if you have or can do a tutorial on the bargello quilt!!?
Do u need to seal the vinyl when u pit on a ceramic or steel cup

Thank youuu, really useful vídeo.
Thank you Liz 🙂
Oh no! Because you posted this video, I realized that yesterday - perhaps my HTV is actually REGULAR VINYL! Now what do I do?

I have the sNc DX125 wat mat do I need pls help
You just need to use the Standard mat made for the DX machine. There is no special mat for cutting the adhesive vinyl.
Thanks but what if am cutting alphabet or numbers will I flip the design to cut ?
Yes, you would need to do that with anything that has a particular direction.
Alanda Craft love your videos
Haven’t seen any recent videos here....all ok? Miss them.
We are getting geared up for 2020. We will be back 😃
Thank you

@@alandacraft It's a brand new machine ;)
Do you think that vinyl foil quality does matter?
I cringed and shouted “Nooooo” at the wasted Vinyl you threw to the side! 😭 Lovely vid of the process though 👍🏻
😃 We don't waste anything, believe me, everything gets used in other projects. Thank you for your comment (and concern) 👍
You are supposed to lay the transfer sheet down in the middle then out to the edges when putting it on the journal. Also invest in a squeegee.

Can you design a pattern for adult/children face mask for corona virus, and a video to make it!
Sorry Catherine, but the masks for disease control are made in a specific way for them to be effective. So I don't think that anything we could design would meet the Health Department requirements
So I don’t need to buy the vinyl blade for this? I noticed that you need a activation card if you buy the vinyl blade.
