I always found it interesting that the credits version was played at a lower pitch. Because even though the war was won, the galaxy has still gone through so much death and destruction, it's sad.

Some of you have been on it ever since the beginning. The ups and downs, funny and sad moments, I was in that journey with all my heart. "It was an honor to serve with you, Commander Shepard"
The Extended cut destroy ending was awesome, I knew there would be heavy sacrifices and my Shepard was fully prepared to die for the cause! As it happens, he lived if you count the breathing scene at the end, I felt victorious and glorious having defeated that which has wiped out thousands of far more advanced civilisations than humans in the past, if the final fight was easy and there were no losses, it would have sucked!
y'know what, the ending may not have been great, but this was, is and always will be a great game, part of the best gaming trilogy ever created. If bioware fucks up mass effect 4, the fans will *NOT* forgive them
Colter Tolman they probably felt the other version was better for whatever reason. I really love this softer more emotion filled version. really makes you in your head see everything good and bad from all 3 games. all the joys and sorrows that came from the series in the end leaving you with a sense of hope within darkness they endured for a better future for all.
The Reapers werent intended to destroy anything, they were originally created as a means of brokering peace between synthetics and organics. However, the catalyst hypothesized that the only means of preventing higher intelligence organics and synthetics from inevitably killing each other was to harvest both parties before they reached this outcome, hence the storing of there genetic and synthetic information in reaper form.
There was a time when this music reminded me of the really sad first mission on earth. Now it just reminds me of all the various "ME3 Endings Suck" videos out there
No matter what, this music is EPIC. Bring tears to my eyes everytime i hear it. Love Mass Effect and my Shepard. Hope the DLC is going to kick every reaper ass in the galaxy.

Mass Effect has such a great way of adding atmosphere to the game, and you're not running around blowing people's heads of like COD. The Characters are well thought of, the story is amazing. Not to mention the soundtrack. It's been a great 6 years Bioware.
