You know, ME2 had extremely good EPIC music like they had with the Suicide Mission, but ME3 brought back the old atmospheric style that had made ME1's music memorable. This and Mars are perhaps two of the best examples of the non-combat music they did that worked thematically for Mass Effect.
The only epic music in ME2 was the suicide mission, although I could argue it was over-epic for what was going on in the game wasn't as exciting. I really liked the music in Haestorm with Tali though, that was my favorite, but ME2 lacked in music overall. ME3 managed to combined ME2's and ME1's music. Was cool.
@@Squadwin The only one i liked in ME2 was the afterlife club theme from Omega, but that isn’t even ME2 theme technically since it was written and composed long time ago and used in other games before ME2, so not sure it is fair to call it ME2 ost! Other than that music in ME2 was pretty meh…
@@Squadwin On the flip side the music playing in Shepard’s cabin is straight up garbage, any track playing in ME2 is better than that ugly crap! I mostly just switch off the player in Shepard’s cabin in ME3 and just never bother turning it on…sometimes like they say - silence is golden…
The towering geth primes can easily be called the best soldiers in the entire universe. They beat any organic race in dicipline and patience, precision and marksmanship, and they have even the Krogan beat on physical strength. I would have loved to see a section in the final battle where Geth Primes overwhelmed Reaper troops from orbit, like a swarm of meteors.
I still love the Quarians (solely due to Tali though) but there is something innocent about the geth, like they are still children, torn between loving their parents and wanting to protect themselves from the striking.
Oh I agree, the Quarians would be my second favourite race. I love Tali so much! I feel more drawn toward sympathising with the Geth since they only ever acted in self defence after being attacked for asking a simple question.
eraldorh They survive the same way as humans did back when we used spears and bows to hunt for food: By being smarter than they are strong. Quarians are lauded for their engineering skills among organics, but in a firefight, they'd rather stay the F away and snipe bosh'tets instead of being shot at.
Associate this with the multiplayer objective waves tbh - dashing frantically back and forth to pick up the packages and bring them to the LZ, or to take out the highlighted targets. So sad that the multiplayer isn't being remastered for the Legendary Edition :/
Why the hell we didnt capture that ship? We had the opportunity, and then that stupid fucking quarians choose to destroy it even it was harmless. We could have capture it and use it against the reapers. It would be very valuable asset.
I loved listening to this so much when I was going on a long road trip to Edwards Air Force Base in California in the Mojave Desert. Driving through all desert terrain with Joshua trees here and there. And seeing the Milky Way up in the night sky throughout the Mojave is sure atmospheric to look at whilst listening to this. Brings me back 🖤🌌
the music is freaking awesome, thanks to cris velasco and sashca dicyirian, like their music in prototype 1 & 2 and tron evolution. and clint mansell is one my favorites composers. and legion is awesome.
@@sae136 No they haven't! LOL Extended Cut didn't even begin to touch 90% of other problems game had!...Plot holes were so over the place, that they would need another 5 years of writing from scratch and even then there is still a chance it wouldn't be enough to fix everything! LOL
7:08 is were the fun starts. Actually at 9:24 but that is a real masterpiece. Just restarted the last N7-Mission on Ontarom, to get back to this track. Pressed ESC for the Menu and listened. It´s repetitive, yes , but really gets the blood pumping. Don´t think you can make any better "fighting music" then this. A shame its over at 11:28 ;)
This brings me back to all those hundreds or possibly thousands of hours I spent playing ME3 multiplayer. One of my favorite games. This track's got such intense vibes with perfectly disconcerting undertones through an exciting but chill rhythm. I still remember the one match I played when the game glitched in the craziest way and played a track from ME2's DLC. It was one of the most epic battle music tracks I'd ever heard in the series and I couldn't get over how much more fun the battle was because of it. I searched so hard to find out the track.
This techno music is perfect indeed. The geth are a purely synthetic race of AI programs so it makes sense that a musical motif to them would be techno indeed but also alien to us, synthetic in its own right. Right at 3:59 however it shifts gears to include classical orchestration somewhat, since Legion was always evolving from a gestalt intellect being and interacting with CDR. Shepard into a singular-consciousness, attaining true sentience as a living being. And he did.
no need to even capture it. it was a geth dreadnought. it was merely disabled, it could've been restarted and used by its own designers: the geth themselves (assuming you brokered peace)
I think that was Bioware's intention. That was a COMPLETELY unnecessary war.. I even stood for peace in Tali's loyalty mission. Felt really good punching Han'Gerrel afterwards.
Ah yes "Linux" the best OS that exists, we have dismissed that claim! But they might use some kind of operating system that is better than Linux, Mac, or PC.
Yeah i meant that, geth could have use it against reapers and with reaper upgrade that legion uploaded, that makes it even better. Codex says,3 standard dreadnought can destroy a reaper ship.Geth dreadnought is so much powerful than standart dreadnought, with reaper upgrade it had capabilty of flag ship of united fleets. When i played that part of the game,i was really angry.
this is a bit late lol but Yh that geth dreadnought was powerful the whole quarian fleet were firing at it and they only managed to make a small hole.Wish we saw it fight the reapers.
Windows is a weakness. Geth prefer Linux.
+Jose Suarez good one :D
After 5 years - still the best comment :D
After 9 years - still still the best comment :P

i love it when the geth says "shepard commander"
Yeah, always found it funny :P
Aside from Garrus Brokkarian, Legion will always be my best friend.
I will always remember his gaming profile.
Forget he kind of technically cheated in most of the games that he played and and accepted a three-day suspension of his account...FOR TAUNTING 😂😂😂

I feel bad whenever i fight geth D:, they are probably the most interesting Robots in gameing in my opinion.
CheekyScrubinator2000 true also nice profile pic :)
CheekyScrubinator2000 EFFING LOVE GETH!! BA!!
nice pic Doc
The most interesting robots in any sci-fi media in my opinion!

its actually a Geth Unintentional Infiltrator. developers thought it was a long name, so cropped it.
This is the only video with a different picture for a background from the uploader. Guess Geth are special.
One does not simply walk into a Geth Dreadnought... unless if one is Shepherd.
