Please stay humble. Many of us like the fact that you dont have people following you around with a camera and turning more commercial. Also we love that you dont go to big box store or nursery and buy all of your garden starts that you actually do the hard work. Keep ot up team
My son looked up comfrey online a few years ago and found a lady who wanted to thin down her patch. She left it on the curbside for him and I have had it planted in pots for several years now. I'm hoping we will be able to move but until then I use it for chop and drop compost. Today I made my first batch of compost tea with it and rainwater from my rain 'buckets'. I'll be testing it on my garden veggies to see if it will give them a lift. Thanks for the video Lacy! We need to share the info on organic/gardening and healing. Would love to hear in video, how you make salves and other natural remedies from your herb garden.
I have also hearded it is great to jump start your compost pile, and get it burning hotter. At the very least it would get some of those nutrients into your compost.
Hey Mike, here in Jamaica we use that plant as medicine especially if you are diabetic. It helps to regulate blood sugar. So we don't drink it too often. I grew up seeing my grandmother use it as medicine.

@@sandymire3131 That what my grandma told me she used it for. She would add the leaves to boiling water then drink it when cool. Don't take this as medical advice though just sharing my experience with the comfrey plant.

I would love to sign up. I am 76 years old. I have lived a beautiful life, but: I grew up with the life desire to marry a farmer and have lots of children. Having animals and living on the land. ( oh, my in the 60s and 70s that was so “ no where”). Now so many young people are saying this Is the way to go. I am so happy for these folks that have grabbed the life long opportunity to live-the life long Blessed life. I am definitely a devoted fan!! God bless.
You can cut back comfrey about 8 times during the growing season. Would love to be an abundance plus member however I don't have away to pay online. So excited for the ones who do. be blessed.

Cowboy Magic Detanglerr is the best thing for mane dreadlocks! I have twirly headed Arabs that gt alll dreadlocked during the winter rains, especially my bay horse. The chestnut rubs his mane out so he gets a "sports cut:".

Great info; thanks for sharing! Even in central Alberta, Canada, we grow Comfrey. I haven’t tried the tea to soak in but have made an oil infusion with the leaves to rub on sore spots & it helped speed up healing for my daughter’s broken fibula in her upper ankle. The doctors thought she’d need surgery but the X-ray showed a clean heal. Many blessings to your family! 🤗❤️🇨🇦

I've heard that comfrey is good to build swales on your property if you have flooding issues. I also hear that once you plant it you can never get rid of it. I'm glad it helped your little toe! It does seem like a vigorous plant. Thanks for talking about it to us. I bet our goats and birds would like it. Cool, Lacie is going to do a course on herbs! Great.

i cut mine back three times a year here in northmo,,,,i always leave one flowering for the bees, then it gets cut also, always put it around new plants i want to get that extra boost, maybe a new herb

@K Barnes I have heard equally mixed reviews on it... but as a non big pharma option, with a "home grown fertilizer" option I'm willing to try itA praying these cuttings will produce a usually size in this season ❤️

I love comfrey too. I have used to heal after surgery or injuries as well. You reminded me to divide mine up!
