I don't think this game is gonna fail. I just think people want something to complain about. They just want heckle and trash talk for fun.
I think it looks great so far but I also see why people are so hesitant to let themselves get excited for it. KONAMI is playing it safe with this remake and I think that's the best possible route for them to take honestly.

I would love vol four to have peace walker, mgs4 and on the extras side mgr, metal gear acid and portable ops and maybe ground zeros since you can get that for new hardware already ( same with mgs5)
Don't forget that they also confirmed that they're working on Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.2 in their Q/A pie chart, which also includes a new MGO. Also that they're willing to work with Kojima again and want to reconcile
The kojima part the only thing im not buying , seems like simple PR to save face for when Kojima dipped during MGSVs troubled development , remember Konami is prioritizing PACHINKO machines, still doesnt mean they cant get it right once in awhile tho but still its Konami, Im lookin forward to Delta tho, looks 🔥🔥🔥

As someone who absolutely adores Metal Gear and has been obsessed with it since my brother showed me it when I was very young, it's always really lovely to see other people like you who love the series the same way I do! I've watched your videos for a really long time now and always look forward to when you upload to see what you have to say about the series and the new updates we are getting! I first came across you when you were reacting to the trailers for The Phantom Pain and I remember immediately understanding you because the excitement you had is the exact same way I felt too! The excitement for The Phantom Pain was unlike anything I've ever experienced before. I remember watching the trailers over and over and dissecting every little detail I could find and speculating with my brother about everything we would see in the game and how it would end. I can't believe how long it has been since The Phantom Pain came out! Thank you for all the amazing Metal Gear content you do! I always love the videos and look forward to the next!! I also know you'd be really excited about the potential Metal Gear Online news we might be getting. I know how much you loved Metal Gear Online, and it would be incredible news if we get a new one, or maybe even a remake of the original Metal Gear Online to go with Delta! I'm so damn excited for everything to come. This series means the absolute world to me and I'm so unbelievably happy that it's finally back and is looking to have a really bright future. Everything I've seen of Delta so far is exactly what I was hoping for after all the years of rumours and speculation about a potential Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake and Konami definitely look like they're putting the love and work in that the game 100% deserves! We had a downward spiral for awhile where there was nothing new being announced for Metal Gear and the future wasn't looking very bright, but people like you really kept the series alive on RUclips which was amazing, because I hated the idea of my favourite series of all time being forgotten about by Konami and never getting anything new. The hype for The Phantom Pain was definitely on another level. I remember watching all the different videos from fans going crazy about every new trailer, gameplay showcase and anything in general we could get our hands on, and it was just an amazing time for the fans. The Phantom Pain hype is where all the true fans of Metal Gear Solid came together to go absolutely crazy about this series and give Hideo Kojima and his Metal Gear the send off it deserves! I'll never forget that time for the rest of my life. I'm looking forward to seeing what Konami can do on their own, and although I will definitely always miss Kojima, it thankfully is looking like Konami is doing everything right and I really hope they keep this up. Metal Gear deserves it!

I wish they change up somethings like how re4r kept similar stuff but change some things that suprised the players. Honestly I am excited on how cqc be handled

I wasn't going to pre-order it but when I heard their importing the original text and codex then I'm pretty safe to know the story won't be tampered with. I'm getting it day one.
They said give them feed back so I'm telling you now we need to ask them to make the classic title screen as the main title screen no matter what mode you are playing the game on cus the classic title screen is far superior
If they want to blow the minds of a new generation every aspect of the game has to be great so get rid off the generic title screen and add the classic one cus if new gamers see that classic title screen when they start the game for the first time they will be more impress

I tried playing msg 3 and I just couldn’t deal with the controls after playing msg 5 so I’m so hyped for this game so so I can finally experience operation snake eater In all its glory
I think they're doing it perfect by Starting off with this game, they're actually going by the actual story timeline instead of game release which is smart.So everybody will understand what's happening.A lot of people were confused by how the series of games came Out

I am super excited about this, honestly cant wait. Been waiting for something like this for years, love the series, played them so many times and just cant get enough of it. Ive played mgs 1 ps1 5 times xbox one 3 times, Mgs2 ps2 15 times xbox 360 8 times xbox one 5 times, mgs3 ps2 20 times xbox 360 18 times xbox one 2 times. Currently working on mgs2 & mgs3 on hardest difficulty having high hopes that i can get all done (with playing other games to) before this game comes out. With that being said im having very high expectations for this remake, and honestly seeing a peak of what they have did, i absolutely love what their doing and cant wait for them to release it. Probably going to be the only game i'll be playing for awhile

I like this one, but I really wanna get Metal gear solid 4 Guns of the patriots soon, that one was my favorite one in the entire series and the gameplay for it was so amazing

I'm hoping we have the option to pick up weapons from fallen enemies. I mean every basic enemy soldier had an AK47 yet you could only get one if you found it in a shed.

Everything looks great, except for the grass Animation. In the ego perspective it just disappears and doesnt react to Snakes crawling.
I hope this game actually gets finished, i keep hearing rumors its not going to happen. Idk how it couldn't be a winner if they stick to the original story with modern gameplay. The dead space remake was incredible, and thats from EA... So im expecting more even. Obviously snake eater is much older and will require more work. Just do it! Make our dreams cometrue! Development finished, back to mgsv😅

As much as I agree with the gaming being beat for beat the same, I do hope they expand in-between areas to add more gameplay scenarios to pad out the game a bit for those of use who have already played dozens of playthroughs. Keep the iconic areas the same, but those kind of empty transitional areas? would like to see some new stuff! That being said if you disagree then keep everything the same and just add an optional extra path, keeping the core run the exact same.

What we know so far: It's game of the year day one on release. You can not get a game more worth preordering, deserving, and more fun then metal gear solid 3. Mgs3 is already a perfect game and delta is it plus more.
Its the pinnacle of stealth games and I swear on my life I'm gonna preorder it and have the best time of my life playing it as it comes out.

I'd love to see a new MGS game that uses UE5, it has different maps like MGS5 with new ones dropping every 6-12 months as DLC that continues the story. The point of the game is also to build a NEW Outer Heaven but have it more like Fallout 4 home building (the only example i can think of), with places-able defences and buildings. Customise weapons and load-out, recruit new soldiers, go on missions and build out your base.
I’m so overly excited for this game. I think it’ll be on par with RE4R remake wise.

I heard at the end of the video you’re playing MGS4. Have you or do you plan on doing a guide for that? Really want to platinum it but it’s a massive mountain to climb
So they’re remaking MGS3 first because it’s chronologically the first MGS for the newcomers. This is great, I’m basically the Fry meme shouting “Shut up and take my money!”, but I have a few questions about this.
This is going to be a little off-topic but I’m curious if this means Konami plans to remake the other MGS titles in order?
If that’s the case and if they’re only doing the main, numbered instalments, MGS5: GZ and TPP are next, am I alone in feeling like it’s too soon for a MGS5 remake? In any case, it’d be nice if the rest of Phantom Pain’s story with Eli was finished.
Konami would need Kojima back at the very least to fill in the blanks and I’d trust no one else to do it. I have no idea if Kojima would be willing to work with them again but I’ve seen crazier things happen.
It would be confusing to newcomers with the references MGS5 makes to Peace Walker and the latter’s direct references to the events of the technically canon Portable Ops…so they would have to also be remade in a way that fits a console and not PSP, seems like a headache for a couple games that no one’s really clamouring for.
IMO, if Konami can’t finish the rest of MGS5 it would it be better if Konami simply ignored 5 and went straight for a full-blown Metal Gear 1 & 2 remake starring a younger Solid Snake. Obviously that would be an overhaul but I’d like to see rookie Snake in 3D.

I keep seeing people comment "Don't preorder", and I largely agree with that sentiment for the vast majority of games, but this is MGS3. I would let Konami take one of my balls to let me play this game right now.

There are a few things I'm still concerned about:
1. Will the gameplay changes break the game, like they did in MGS: The Twin Snakes? So far, the level design seems pretty much identical to the original game. Maybe the enemy AI should be updated to counter new gameplay additions.
2. Will the healing and camo menu's be more seamless this time? Pausing the game to heal bulletwounds is a part of the game that hasn't aged well. Which is why Octocamo worked a lot better in MGS4.
3. It would also be a nice touch if they could make the cutscenes a little more interactive and seamless. Especially the start of the game requires you to spend close to 30 minutes listening to tutorials, pseudo-history and radio calls. And I'm a sucker for Metal Gear's long cutscenes. But I can't imagine introducing this game to newer players who don't have the same attention-span.
I'm curious to know what is everyone's first playthrough going to be legacy mode or the newer style me personally I think I'll do newer first then complete it on legacy

There were problems w the theme song. Apparently it was stolen. But I'm not sure about the details.
While I am excited, I can't help but feel a little bit disappointed that seemingly nothing new will be added to the game for old fans to discover. Not even optional side paths/areas in the maps.
Likewise, it seems that all the menuing is making a comeback, which means we'll have to pause constantly to do things such as healing, eating, accessing the backpack, etc., therefore disrupting the flow of the gameplay.
I hope I'm wrong.

As in square to shoot and all of that? Not sure if that's going to be possible but you might be able to configure button layouts on your preferred system and recreate it that way?
@PerfectStealth probably the closest we can get, I'm actually a younger fan, but I genuinely do not like the phantom pain much as a game so if worst comes to worst, I always have the original mgs3

In the end many ps2 games that sell a lot need to be remaked i see a lot of possibilities and many studio are losing money like imagine a nfs 2und, def jam fight for ny, ffx and more... Capcon and square enix notice that. I just think Kojima and Konami need to hold hands on this one...cuz it will provide benefits to both. I am not personally interested in Delta till it has been out for a while so I can more easily afford to get it. I don't have a PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or a recent PC that can handle it. I can't justify over half a grand for mainly improved visuals. I see Delta as the same as TTS. Yet TTS gets lectured for being too close to MGS 1 with no big changes to how it plays, but Delta gets praised for being pretty much identical to MGS 3 with newer mechanics that it wasn't designed with like TTS.
Understandable. Although I’d agree that people hate TTS for being too different from MGS1 and then hate Delta for being a 1:1 remake 🤣 Hard to win either way if you’re KONAMI.
@@PerfectStealth Don't get me wrong, I love the look of Delta, and I think it looks awesome. I just don't think my overall opinion of MGS 3 is gonna change with the new mechanics, especially since none of them are really that different than what is already there and just look better.

How did you get mgs4 to work on pc
Followed a tutorial on RUclips and then tweaked the settings for a while until it was stable. Setting it up varies from person to person since everyone’s setup is different
