Lovely towel, your voice is lovely ❤️, I didn't understand the top of the bodice but I will watch over a couple of times to get the jist it it Thanks again
Hi Dee! I love your tea towel dresses and would like to thank you for sharing!! I am new at sewing so please excuse all of the question. I would like to know: 1. What seam allowance did you use on the bodice? 2. What type of interface and weight did you use? 3. What width lace did you use down the front and the decorative trim around the neck did you use? 4. What size tea towel did you use? I know you said you purchased the tea towel on amazon and had left the link in the description but I couldnt finf it. Do you mind leaving the description here? Again, I apologize for all the questions! Thank you for your generosity and kindness for posting the pattern!! It is sooo very much appreciated! I look forward to learning more from you. Have a blessed day.
Hi and welcome to the world of sewing 😊 Please all questions are welcome! 1.The seam allowance I use is ¼” inch 2. The interfacing I use is a light weight, Pellon P44F 3. The width of the lace is 1” ( Hobby Lobby and Walmart have a great selection ) 4. The tea towels are from amazon and the name of them is: Utopia Kitchen [12 Pack] Flour Sack Tea Towels, 28" x 28" Ring Spun 100% Cotton Dish Cloths and the color options are available Also, I do serge the hem for the ruffles, however if you do not have a serger it’s ok, just add a additional ½” to the size of ruffle 3 ½” verses the 3” and fold up ¼” and iron then repeat and sew. I will leave a couple links that I have a new technique for a bodice and( the pattern download as well) and the other link of the hem technique I just spoke of. Happy Sewing and thanks for watching! ruclips.net/video/TlNf6l4nCgg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/bOPuQWXmwYI/видео.html

Very cute! Did you finish the neckline before adding the lace?
Hello and thank you, no I did not close until I added lace. If no lace is wanted you can sew closed or heat N bond tape closed. Happy Sewing !

Yes! that is in the works and coming out soon, it’s my kitchen /home week 😊
@@deescraftingcorner cant wait excited
I don't have a fancy sewing machine that does all that.
Hi, No special machine needed for making the tea towel dress, a simple sewing machine does the job very well. Thanks for watching and Happy Sewing!
