I used to actually go to each dealership and drive the New Cars myself and get all the New Car Brochures I could. It got to a point I was telling the salesmen more about the cars then they could tell me. Kyle does a great job showing us more details then most channels.

I don't know why so many people hate on Honda, I personally think the civic Si is an amazing car! It's a sporty car with great interior, good exterior, and amazing safety + performance. Only problem I have with the civic Si is that it take premium but I guess it doesn't really matter with its fuel economy.
forgot to add that in 4 years when you want to trade it in even with 70 000km on it it will still have a trade in value of around 17 000 18 000 for the si
I really don't get why so many people complain about manual. Got my first driving lesson when I was 12 and it was manual. Really, after a few minutes, you get the hand of it.
Just bought this car 2 days ago and it's awesome. I wanted a Camaro, but fuck that gas mileage so I bought this one instead. If you don't know if you want it or not, I can tell you first hand that I love this car. Shifts so smooth, a little more road noise than I expected but you don't realize it over your exhaust. I highly recommend this car
I have 1029 mile on my 2013 SI sedan exactly like the video, I have an average of 30.6 driving in town and on back roads at about 60 mph. I have a lot of fun commuting 28 miles one way. I dont regret my choice at all...great car for me.
I can remember vividly when I picked up my 2013 Honda Civic Si from the dealership . Taffeta White Sedan exactly like this one . Such a beautiful car . Still in great condition and runs great .
160,000 miles Crystal Black pearl 13 here with a downpipe and a good tune with Hondata… had it for 7yrs and it runs better than when i got it tbh (with 19k miles)
The sedan surprisingly looks better than the coupe. More practical as well. And I'm glad everyone is hating on this Si. It is driving the prices lower. I'll have to take advantage.
I'm in the market for a sport compact 4-door. I was stuck between the Focus ST and this, so I went to go test drive them but the Ford dealership didn't have an ST so I went to the Honda dealership. I must say, after a speed-filled 20 minute test drive with the salesman riding shotgun to me and about 3 0-100 runs and some hard 80mph corners, I am in love with this car. Needless to say, in about a month when I get a decent down payment, I'm buying this car, only I'm going to get the red one.
I'm not a big fan of the Si, but I know for a fact than MANY enthusiasts buy this car. It's affordable, practical, and relatively fun to drive at the price. Not to mention there's a huge aftermarket for the car. Not everyone who likes to drive can afford a Lamborghini or an M3, or can accomodate the impracticality of a Miata or a BRZ/FR-S.
I'd like to add that there are four versions of this car. The 2013 Honda Civic SI can be bought with all season tires or summer tires, and some units come with the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System™ with Voice Recognition in place of the sound system's control panel. It very hard to find a Teffeta white sedan with the navigation.
agreed... I don't even think about it when I drive my car, it's just second nature, your hand knows when to reach down and shift and your foot knows when the push the clutch. It's weird to think about but it's just automatic for me

Well, automatic is easier to use for commuting. Especially in places in New York City and the tri-state area. That's why you see a lot of people going for DSG over manual in Volkswagens in the northeast and a lot of manual for sale. There are very few people nowadays who prefer manual up here for daily commuting. I love "proper" transmissions (3 pedals and a stick) but Automatics do have their appeal, and they are getting better (VWs DSG is amazing)
I think the normal one would be better to drive as a first timer (lol) but the SI might work well if you want a manual transmission. Consider the mazda3
That's pretty much up to you on what which vehicle you like the most. However, my best advice is that you go with your gut feeling on which vehicle will best suit your needs because I've seen a mixture of both college guys and girls driving both the Honda Civic & Scion TC. - Michael Land
I have a 2008 Si sedan, and I've enjoyed it very much other than the notorious 2nd and 3rd gear grinding issue. Has this been improved on the 2013-14 models? My cousin is in the market for a new car, and I'd love to recommend the Si if this improvement has been made. It's the only thing that makes me not like my Si.
Yes and no. My 2014 grinds when shifting quick into 2nd, notorious problem. In 17000 miles it's got a little tiny knocking noise if you gently push it into 3rd without the clutch, the only gear it does it in. But it doesn't grind when shifting. Still, all in all for a sporty economy car it's great. Although now that the fiesta st is available Id be hard pressed to go for the Si again
+SupErnaTuraL315 I had the idea where if I had the cash for a new car, the fiesta st would be the thing I would get. I test drove one and I did not like it. The sunroof is near pointless. The shifter felt rather low. There's a cowl to reduce glare on the center screen that cuts off the top of the display from my viewing angle. As with most new cars, rear visibility is god awful. The stereo and climate controls are a mess.

I love your profile picture by the way! It was really cool when I was in high school in the 80s. It was only like 11k and it was really quick. I'm too big for the Civic now and getting older so I went with the Accord Coupe V6. It's nice just hate the eco mode that you can't turn off, the trans, and bump steer. The Civic is probably a better bed if it's not too cramped and if there is no eco mode(worst invention ever)!!
Sedan looks better than coupe, that's for sure. Car still has a lot going for it even though most of its competition is faster. Gonna test drive it back to back with a lot of FWD turbo hatchbacks, and even the FR-S to see what's going to be my next daily driver.
I really wish that you could drive the cars as well for your reviews. Maybe you could ask them to let you just drive around the lot or even around the area with a co-driver from the dealership to talk about the car while you talk about how it feels to drive.
As much as I wasn't a huge fan of the pre-facelift model, as much as this refreshed version impresses me. Hats off to Honda who managed to fix just the right things at the right place and moment. It's just a shame they kept the ridiculous horn though lol
My next dream car. Or at least, should’ve been my first. I got a 2009 Honda Accord Sedan with a 5 Speed Manual as my first car. Had it for 4 years now. I really love the car. But now that I think of it, I need more of a sportier car, because every sports car I see come by, makes me jealous. The 8th gen Accord is awesome, but not sporty enough, at least not to me. Planning on trading my Accord for this 2013 (or maybe 2007) Honda Civic si, which will be my first time, driving a 6 speed manual.

Got rid of the beep because when you open the doors it makes a sound. Everytime the car is on, when a door is open it make a sound. It is a safety feature, good if you have children. The beep would not be a good sound when a doo is opened. This civic has vastly improved when compared to the 8th gen. I know this because I own both.
Hang onto that Corrado. I'd love to own a Corrado VR6 but they're really hard to find in good shape and the ones in good shape the owners would never sell them.
I know them feelings, I'm torn between this car and a 2013 mustang v6. I like the mustang a little better because of looks, rwd, and power. But I got young kids and this sedan is so much more practical.

I'm not really a honda guy but this is a nice looking car, and with a manual you cant go wrong.
If I were to buy the Si, I think I'd definitely have to go with the sedan. I think it looks a lot better than the coupe.

Love this model compared to last year. It just looks so much sportier including the coupe too.
