Having been through a mass shooting myself (Virginia Tech) real-life grief looks _very_ different from what people see on TV and film. Most people are quite stoic in public and aren't the sobbing wrecks that we'd assume they'd be. At least for me, night time was the hardest, when you actually had time to let your guard down and process what you went through.

I was owed $7k after a car jacking 6 years ago. I didn't get a penny from it. The guy was called back to prison for non payment fir 3 weeks but was out in 6 days for some reason. The debt was wiped so we'll never see anything. My kids still say they get scared when in a car and always lock the doors. Justice system sucks.

All those things are things that Alex Jones did not do or at least there was absolutely zero evidence that he did and in the court case nobody even tried to prove that he did. publicly or privately tell anybody to do and was not charged with any of those things and yet they all accused him of those things, there was even an FBI agent that sued did said he was harassed by Alex Jones, and then on the stand he testified that he'd never spoken with Alex Jones yet he still won money somehow

I’m curious to know why Alex Jones backtracked, and started saying it was real. Was it bc of the lawsuits, or did it happen before?
I can’t imagine the horror of having people claiming the parents were actors, and threatening them full stop. But to experience that on top of the absolute grief. Unbearable.

As I was preparing to "pull the plug" on my 36 yo only child the nurse asked if I would want clergy to join us. Knowing how my brilliant, beautiful son felt about religion, I burst into laughter and told her that was the one thing that would surely get him up off that deathbed and back on his feet. The dear friends who were with me were laughing, too. In the middle of such profound grief I cracked a joke. Everyone laughed. Except my son who would have laughed the loudest of all. Then I went home and screamed for days. Almost 7 years later not one day has gone by without tears. Sometimes the sorrow builds. Sometimes it hits like a ton of bricks. I had to leave the grocery store a few weeks ago--a stray thought of him had gone thru my mind and I was gonna start sobbing so I left my cart and went home. Alex Jones is a piece of human garbage. My son is dead. Life is not fair.

Omg my heart is breaking for you. Your pain is raw. I have two sons 21 and 19, they are my everything, without one of them, I could not carry on. The anxiety of loosing one of them has overwhelmed me at times. I am so very grateful and thankful my sons are healthy and happy and I hug them all the more tighter when I hear comments like this and understand just what some mothers do go through. I’m so so sorry for your loss, your pain and that you are so consumed with grief. Life will never be the same again will it. Each day that you are here is one day closer to being with him again. Take care of yourself. Hugs from one mother to another. I wish I could ease your pain xx

I find it funny that he's so "well loved" but is filing for bankruptcy. You cannot discharge these type of judgements in bankruptcy. If he hides assets in bankruptcy it will be denied and it gives parents more insight on where his money resides.

I can not summon up any forgiveness for that monster. He prolonged their pain and suffering beyond anything the world can imagine, and he enjoyed every moment by profiting from their grief with lies. When you have actual police audio from inside the school during the event with LE saying "we have multiple shooters here at large" and then the official story becomes AL acted alone, people are going to start theorizing.

I know people react differently to tragedy's but the father laughing before the press conference imo was the catalyst for everything. Then Carvers comments "I hope this doesn't come crashing down on newton later". Then of course the police audio vs the official story. Event took place at Xmas time, yet there were no xmas decorations at the school, the list goes on. Now what they mean, who knows, perhaps some were taken out of context. However collectively all the oddities made people look at the whole event with a very skeptical eye before AJ started giving the most outlandish theories air time. I'll never say the whole event was a hoax, just that people being skeptical was a pretty natural reaction all things considered, and AJ wasn't the guy that started it.

Besides that there's dispatch telling first arriving officers about shadows running past the gym outside, which were the 4th grade teachers that fled from room 20. At which point, Ofc. McGowan encountered Chris Manfredonia, and thought that's who dispatch was talking about "yeah we got him. They're coming at me down Crestwood". But he was a father who arrived to make gingerbread houses with his daughter's class.
Really wish they had said something about multiple shooters inside the building. It'd help my theory that there was an accomplice.

This is horrible..I had no idea it was going on, I'd never heard of Alex Jones until his trial. I lost a son, not from this incident but I couldn't imagine going through this after losing my son.. it would've been devastating. I pray for the families of the children.
I would imagine they were confused and looking for answers just like Alex was.Conjecture is NOT illegal.and multiple points of view are needed to expose the full truth. These families should be thanking him for the real answers they recieved. It's not like law enforcement will be transparent without a push.

AJ was straight railroaded, it's frightening. Day of SH everyone on social media was saying something felt off, with many saying it was phony for whatever reason. There were also several highly viewed videos (by review manify, sofia smallstorm, etc) about the SH conspiracy that were out and viewed by millions way before AJ even started going that route.
Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequences.

Then I hit up news sources, did a deep dive in discussion forums then began making my rounds in the research community (and yes, I went straight to the pro official story crowd). Nothing.
Jones was not involved in all this for a decade. In fact, I'd argue that Wolfgang Halbig, James Fetzer and James Tracy (who have been in this since 2012) are more responsible. Below them, Sofia Smallstrom, the guys from WNTTASH and I would even argue Prof. Doom. After that, Tony Mead and his crew. Jones is at the bottom of the list. He's just the richest and most notable.

I beg to differ. While one of the dispatchers was on the phone with a teacher (for like 15 minutes), she repeatedly told him that they should call for ambulances. That she had heard 100 shots if not more. He dismissed her every single time. Turns out, he really should've. Many of the victims had survivable wounds but bled to death. Ignoring her was a fatal decision. Kinda like the officers who were all aware of the MCI on their hands, but still chose to not say a word about it. It's almost as if they didn't care at all. A precursor to Uvalde.

Considering people here are interested in law, and I’m just a normal person. Do you not still find it strange that he, at the end of the day, did not threaten anyone in only used words? Sure, essentially he hurt the feelings of people who lost loved ones. But again, they are only words and feelings are only feelings. Over here in the United States of America, all of our rights come with responsibilities and none of our rights are absolute. I don’t understand how 24 hours after uvalde we got 3 hours of surveillance footage. A month after columbine we got cctv footage of inside that school . It’s been 10 years since Sandy hook and they still haven’t released a single image of Adam Lanza in that school . Show him in the parking lot ,show him anywhere

Because the school's camera wasn't recording. It only played a live feed to the office staff. It wasn't that common to have recording cameras in elementary schools and beefed up security until after this shooting. Not even the school my son was attending at the time. They didn't even have cameras. They added them after this shooting and changed all their policies.
