SNES Rainbow Road: *Are you sure about that*
Glad to see that so many people love the Wii tracks. Coconut Mall and Maple Treeway forever (Silok also ranked a bunch of my other favorite tracks highly but there are too many to list lmao)
moonview highway is definitely one of the most beautiful tracks in mario kart.
I just finished the dishes and now i can reminisce on a game i plated when i was 6. Merry christmas
Grumble Volcano is severely underrated imho
I LOVE the way moonview highway is structured. It’s so unique and serves to weed out the weaklings early, really befitting of the special cup
Another reminder to everyone that you can still play this game and many others online today with your official hardware and disc using Wiimmfi servers
Maple Treeway and that Peach Castle map with the hot air balloons and huge jump from MK8 (can’t remember the name) are some of my favorite tracks of all time.
Only New Tracks:
16: Luigi Circuit
15: Mario Circuit
14: Dry Dry Ruins
13: Moonview Highway
12: Daisy Circuit
11: Moo Moo Meadows
10: Bowser’s Castle
9: Rainbow Road
8: Grumble Volcano
7: DK Summit
6: Mushroom Gorge
5: Toad’s Factory
4: Maple Treeway
3: Koopa Cape
2: Coconut Mall
1: Wario’s Gold Mine
We need a Toad’s Factory remake man. I’ve been waiting for years.
I would love to see you do this for the other games as well! Great video!
I just noticed the thumbnail change lmao
As a player who played mkw since I knew how to hold a controller I’ve played this game. Played it for a long time. I see lots of these as ones I agree with. But being honest. Maple treeway, coconut mall, toads factory and koopa cape are my favourites. Especially doing Maple treeway glitch and coconut mall glitch ( which I have 4th Canadian) yes I’m Canadian. And koopa cape which is just fun in general. Toads factory is satisfying to drive and the box clip glitch makes it even better! The lake cut and low trick making the races close! All very fun tracks and nice list!
Apart from grumble volcano being a 2/5 i agree with this list, great video!
Their is a weird sense of nostalgia, fear, terror and panic and enjoyment I get when I see mkw rainbow road
Moo Moo Meadows (especially the Mario Kart 8 version) is literally the greatest Mario Kart track and I genuinely mean that with all my soul
Matt. Stop touching his script
I have no problems with any of the tracks in the slightest, but *my God,* Wii’s physics and hit stun (or rather the lack of any) make my sanity spiral to the point where I can’t stand them.
I love the track design in Mario Kart, it legitimately feels like the new racetracks are out to kill you
The nostalgia in this video had me smiling so much
Matt search history be like
*why is moo moo meadows so good*
*moo moo meadows ranking*
*moo moo meadows is the best track*
Dude that’s my search history lol
In early days of playing this game (I mean like the really early back before i did not even have mirror mode unlocked) my ratings for maps were pretty accurate comparing to this one. nowadays, things have changed a lot
Koopa Cape was my favourite map and always will be , I was so sad when I loaded up MK on the switch and noticed it was missing
Grumble Volcano is my favorite course in wii. Are you seriously telling me that you put all the circus courses above that? Smh.
COCONUT MALL BABY ITS COMING BACK
How did you not mention that Toad’s Factory has the best song in the series
thank you so much for this video i needed it so much
this is genuine
Grumble is one of the tracks that are the reason mkwii is still alive
dude rainbow road is the best track to me because of that bad-ass shortcut you can take for style points
Which one? None of the short cuts besides the ultra are even badass. Mushroom gorge and Bowser castle have more badass shortcuts
@@savagejack5714 you know that one rainbow road video with funky kong where it's pure luck if you get recommended it
it's called the kart moonjump
"What are you telling people to 'git gud' at, luck?"
And now Coconut Mall, and likely more are coming to MK8D. Let's go
As someone who's played Mario Kart Wii for 11 years now, seeing this type of thing made my day. I even agree with most placements, although I don't entirely understand Daisy Circuit over both Mushroom Gorge and Dry Dry Ruins...still a good video regardless!
Also, fun fact: Rainbow Road is the only track in the game where a kart holds a Time Trial World Record in the Glitchless (No-SC) category.
No matter how good a mariokart Wii track is, the music always slaps.
Great ranking btw
that first turn on the boost panel section on mh has ended so many races you would not believe
I knew this track list was gonna be wack as soon as I saw luigi circuit wasnt number 32
Wow! You’re really ranking all 250 tracks?
oh wait this isn’t ctgp…
Koopa Cape and Maple Treeway were my 2 favs from Wii. Glad to see they made it to the 3DS and in the top 5 of this list. Wii's Rainbow Road is probably my favorite finisher in the MK series. Again with the 3DS, but it had a great RR as well.
From the first day I bought Mario kart 8 I have complained about how grumble volcano got remastered and maple treeway didn't
Moo moo meadows is so chaotic tho I love it
Also have a friend that think that moo moo meadows is the best track on the game and refuses to elaborate, I start thinking this is a cult
Join us.
I would love to see this type of vid for Mario Kart 8/MK8DX
Same moo moo meadows would be #1
And as such, the legend of Matt begun
you have to give yoshi falls credit for looking like mcdonalds chicken nugget
Grumble volcano slander. a track based around a volcano is awesome. it’s one of my favorites
Mario Kart Wii was such a great game I played in my childhood. I was so amazed by the level designs and I love racing, though I only played against the CPUs. Online wasn't much for me to play on.
And Moo Moo Meadows is my favorite- wait wtf did Matt invade my comments?
Mario kart 8 deluxe and wii had the best selection of tracks
Wii: great retro tracks and high skill ceiling while still being fun
MK8D: alot of tracks to play on and pretty much all fun to play on
When I was but a boy, I HATED Ghost Valley 2 because my Wii was set up in the room in the house where the most natural sunlight got in so it was impossible to see anything.
I’ve also always had a weird pent up distain for Jungle Parkway, and I don’t know why, I just got cheesed whenever it was picked.
That silly Matt editing your script to praise Moo Moo Meadows, that keeps cracking me up lol 😆
Grumble Volcano is like one of my favourite Mario Kart tracks ever I literally shouted WHAT when it was ranked so low
You make such high quality ranking videos!
GRUMBLE VOLCANO IS AMAZING
I agree with most of the rankings and overall scores, mario kart wii is so nostalgic for me as it was the first mario kart game I ever played
Ok how is grumble volcanoes placement not incredibly controversial in the comments it is seen as one of the best in the community
It's literally every other new comment, wtf are you talking about lol
