Oooooo and have something like a war mode where you start with a blank map, and you and your opponent have some time to design a little base with traps and can deploy various types of tanks. The catch is you’ll only have so much currency to make all this stuff so you need to be tactical with what you make

There's actually a real tank that could do this. It was based on the chassis of the US support/light tank the Chapparal. It had a combination mortar/missile launcher and in testing they found out that its kinetic missiles (they were rocket bullets in stupid language, they wouldn't explode on impact) , they could actually bounce off walls if the angle wasn't serious, like 20 degrees or more. Hella cool. I saw the only video in existence of it firing off walls. It made an ear shattering POING off the concrete battery walls as it hit the test tank.

@Seff Plays @Hibby Dob There actually is an online multiplayer game based on Wii Tanks. It's called 'Tiny Tanks', but they made it on Roblox for whatever reason. Either way, I can confirm it's a fun game.

I thought I was pretty much the only person on the planet who actually still remembers Wii Play. Everyone just writes off Wii Play as another motion control Wii game. And while I see why you personally didn't like the other games included, all of them will always have a special place in my heart (except Pose Mii, I've never liked that one all too much). In the end though, yeah, the Tanks minigame is by far the best. I have so many memories playing this with my friends and brother.
P.S.: Glad you're okay from that crash.

But the moment in this video you insulted Wii Play, I immediately felt a boiling rage so strong and so fierce it had the power of a thousand suns. Fishing once again shows that our patience is a virtue, and that with time we are able to achieve more things. Yet, it can also be frustrating as with that time we grow more impatient and restless.
Charge is a representation of pure, bottled up anger. It radiates energy of our biggest pains, struggles, and fears. It's everyone's burst of emotions letting lose in one fell swoop.
And tanks... the one game you praised, the one you looked up too. You praised war. A battle; brutal, deadly. A fight that ends in only death and pain with no winners. I'm disappointed Silok. I expected better of you.

Technically the green tank was closely watching where the blue tank was going and therefore knew it was going to run into the missile.
@@MrStickman1997Nah that's not the case, all tanks use the same AI and they shoot a bullet if it will head into a general vicinity of you, Green tanks gave a tighter vicinity and are the only ones with 2 ricochets so if they see you in their line of sight with ricochets and there's no ally tanks in the way then it will shoot

10:23 Actually, I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re talking about, but I can think of another game that sort of does this as well. In Super Paper Mario, there’s a monster-fighting dungeon called the Pit of 100 Trials (kind of a carry-over idea from Thousand Year Door) - it has 100 rooms and each room has a cluster of enemies you have to kill to find which one has the key: and to win, you have to do all 100 floors, including a big boss at the end that does a lot of damage per attack, in ONE GO. You have limited space in your bag to carry healing items, so you can only carry a certain amount of health restoration, and you can’t leave (unless you want to give up entirely and start over from Room 001)...and there are TWO PITS: one in the main hub world (Flipside) and one in its alternate dimensional counterpart (Flopside). If you want to do the one in Flopside, you have to complete the one in Flipside first. THEN you do the one in Flopside, which has the same mechanic except the enemies are just black shadows/silhouettes so they’re harder to identify: more tedious enemy-stomping and key-grabbing for 99 floors...but when you get to floor 100, you find out that you can’t fight the big boss there until you go back out and complete the entire Flopside Pit ALL OVER AGAIN a second time! And the levels in the 100 rooms don’t change layouts, either - they’re exactly the same the second time around, except for where the key is. Beating the Pits of 100 Trials requires you to beat almost 300 TRIALS.

I’d go to my Dad’s house when I was a kid SPECIFICALLY for Tanks with my Stepbrother. For a long time he held the high score but I eventually overtook him. I think that’s where I got my enjoyment for Competitive games!

When I grabbed this game a couple of months ago, the tank game was my favorite (after the pool) as well. Reminded me of "Combat" on the Atari 2600, but with _much_ improved graphics. Always loved "Combat." =)

I think I may be the only person to ever buy Wii Play on it's own without a controller. I found it in a $5 bin at Walmart and decided to pick it up because of Tanks. My uncle and I put many hours into that game but we could never get past level 17. Something would always screw us regardless of how many lives we had. Still had a blast playing it though.

This reminds me of a different free mobile game I used to play. I’m wanting to play the game again, so I will say the description of what I remember so anyone can help to find it: in the game, the first world looks industrial.
There are explosive barrels that, well, explode when you shoot them.
There are bosses in the game that don’t move and can be cheesed easily.
There are power ups you can find in certain levels that improve the gameplay, the one I like the most allows you to shoot over walls.
There is a total of exactly 3 worlds.
There are laser walls that, depending on the color, stops a certain thing.
That’s all I can remember right now, I will add more later.
The Duck Hunt and Look-Alike games were fun too!

Oh my God I remember my friend had this game (I don’t know if he still has it hdjdjdjd) but we played Wii Tanks all the time together!
One of the funniest things that happened playing this was as a joke, I shot his tank and killed him. After that, it ended up becoming tradition to immediately try to shoot each other as soon as the levels started to see who would be the one to shoot the enemies.

In The Editor I'd Take Level 17 & Add More Green Tanks
I remember playing wii sports when i was young, i had so much fun, and i've played allot that i've even gotten platinum medal on all of the levels... Except for one, the wii tank level. I believe it was my favorite minigame, but when i was a kid, i always got so angry by those green tanks, especially level 17. I beat level 20 and i got a gold medal for it, but it was the only minigame i hadn't got platinum on. Good memories it was!
Also the fishing minigame was so very fun for me, i dunno. I guess it was just the peaceful atmosphere it had, with some big looking fish that could appear at any time. I loved many of the minigames in the wii sports. But i gotta give it to the tank minigame on being the best minigame i've played!
Wii Play Fishing is probably what got me into fishing in Animal Crossing and Genshin

When I was younger I dreamed of Wii Tanks being its own game. 8 year old me wanted a video game with 10000 levels and more types of tanks (Imagine one that fires grenade bullets). Also, the trick with level 17 is that you have to play with your Wii set to 4:3. The levels are laid out a little differently.

The brown tanks don’t shoot when you’re next to them because they only go for ricochet shots
At least they didnt charge 50 bucks for it (1-2 switch)
Fun fact: the music is highly dynamic and can change depending on tank count and tank type

Honestly, I loved all of these as a kid. My favorite game was find mii. Tank did come at a second though.
