To be totally fair as well, this was in a critical point of the championship where the contenders really needed points. That's why you only saw 3 cars being fixed up. The rest got towed off even with lighter damage. Those 3 were the top contenders for the championship title that year.

Just started playing it and it's my first sim game. Cars just go straight when you turn, understeer is unreal in the game. Still i like it, but i wonder how strong the driver is to yank the steering wheel that hard and fully block the wheels?

Race control should have red flagged the race and brought all the cars in for wet tires , then send them out for a single file restart , would have saved a lot money for the teams , not to mention the chance a driver could be hurt/killed by leaving them out .....

The teams waited for another team to pit but no one did, James Courtney's team repaired his car to a driveable standard and he finished last that race for 60 points (First gets like 400) He won the championship on day 2 by 65 points

You can really sense the exasperation and frustration in Neil Crompton’s voice when he said “That’s stupid…I said 15 seconds ago, that you can’t afford to have a crash in these conditions.” It wasn’t said in a “haha told ya” way. He just foresaw what was coming and was hoping the drivers would be more sensible. And the line where he says “They’re all broken. Forget about it.” Genuine frustration.

you people are lucky to have so many decent ractracks in Australia/NZ.Here in bland old UK,we've a couple of reasonable tracks,but that's it.Would love to see V8 tintops in this country,but that's probably unlikely

Or wasn't it dry over in the pits but on the other side of the circuit it was hammering down with rain? Mad circumstances. Always rely on rain to throw up chaos and unpredictability. Bet Johnathan Webb has never been more grateful for rain than that day!
Why are these built so weak? A 10mph bump and rotors and arms bend or break?? I've had worse wrecks in street cars and drove home. I love the carnage though, driving a soaked track separates the men from the wannabes.

When are the racing organisers going to realise we don't $300,000 to spend on stupid decisions. A black flag should be possible in those situations, so that cars may return to pits, wait 10 minutes for the rain to pass or get back on the track with full wets. It's a 1 second thought process involved to pull out 1 flag and wave it around, and you'll save us all 300,000, NOT money spent on a rainy day well. I don't believe.

there were three games on PS2 and PC all made by Codemasters. the last was made in 2005 and features the 2005 V8 Supercars.
V8 Supercars are available on Forza and Pcars, not mentioning the infinite mods for rfactor and asseto corsa either
iRacing C class races V8 supercars. It's an expensive sim, but all tracks and cars are laser scanned and very nice.
