Well..of course we are alive!
Yep many years later listen to this befiore off to bed. Magical...

Love this musical vibes!
Thank you. I like to think I have good taste Like yourself.
WTF are those back up singers??!? God damn they’re KILLING IT!!! 🙏

Best kept secret on the planet - Zero 7
The two ladies on the left, in absolute sinc 👌🏻👌🏻
this is better than the official version
I’m glad for Sia’s much deserved success, but I miss this era of her music.
absolutely with you on that
This was 1st time heard SIA when this came out ❤
You could see her.
They know they are singing and playing an absolute classic.... Pure joy
Had an urge to listen to this today. Looked at when it was posted… April 30th, and in the year 2002, which is when I was born. Today is April 30th, 2023. Destiny? Maybe..
It is the year of Our Lord, 2024 and I would kill to be in that audience! Hind sight is 20/20!
Love the radio-quality of the videography. All looking at ease in themselves and the sound as if no one was watching.
It makes it look old-time-feely.
I am weightless when I listen to this song...
December 2023 checking in. This song is still a banger!
2024 and this footage is so gold; especially with how huge Sia is globally
April 2024, and this is still one of Classiest Tracks ever recorded ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Never gets old
My neighbors really enjoy this song too
Turn it up ❤🎶🤘😁
21 years later and i'm STILL blown away how comfortably smooth this song is,........just wow!!!!
21 years later?!?!
Don't say such horrible things!
Totally agree, the time seems be stopped
Saw them twice,soooo good
This is an absolute gem, and after more than 20 years, it sounds as fresh as ever. The seal of quality.
I remember first hearing this twenty years ago and it struck me so heavily, it’s gentle breath and soft sorrow. Still listening even now
2023 and this beauty still give me the chills.
facts!!
Yo! ❤
I bet a few new kids will be shocked to see sia here! In the flesh real face!, boss tune harmonies are spot on Sophie is a beauty also
Así es!!!
I’d never heard this before, and I’m glad it popped up as a recommendation. So good.
This is the best version of this track available. Pure beauty, the harmonies are something else!
Sia’s range and power coupled with Sophie’s delicacy ❤ pure bliss.
Geshem Israel Geshem Israel elehenu Adonai. Hebrews 6;19
Exactly BLISS
Listening & loving it. In 2024.
I love how they look like a high school talent show, and not a pretentious act, even though they are world class quality.
Excellent (and funny) assessment.
They all look so awkwardly perfect & perfectly awkward. The guy in the robes really takes the cake, though. I love it. 😅
Best version ever - backup vocals were smooth as silk in addition to Sophie and Sia.
Geshem Israel Geshem Israel elehenu Adonai Hashem. L'chaim
Zero 7 are just timeless, a collective that never fails.
What I wouldn't give to be in the audience for this recording!!!!!
Zero 7 is timeless. This could be a song from the 70s, 90s, 2000s, or last week. Such a great vibe.
Ive always seen this as ‘typically 2000’
With the keyboards and all
Zero 7 was amazing and then Sia sold out like such a lame ass b**** and put a stupid wig over her face why did she do that she is so talented without the Hollywood fake bullshit
@@priddyting lol what
@@dylan2478 Not at at all the music could be from any decade . Zero 7 , prove that ... That Chorus is totally 80s, The sound at the beginning is pure 70's . SIA voice is 2000 ... Maybe listen more to the 1970s and 80s
@@gripperrocks yes 💞🫂👑 Sophie is a QUEEN who deserves more recognition
The original SIA.
Pushing 80 and still listening.....
Shout out to the backing vocalists, they nail it.
You know what?.. You're absolutely right. The harmony and tones are simply superb!
Yess!!!!!
And to Sophie Barker who wasn’t a backing singer
@@emmaloubie Of course. We should have included her. You're absolutely right. Coming to think of it everyone was on point. 🙂
They definitely brought it!
Good lord this sounds ethereal! They sound phenomenal
i can’t stop listening to this song i’m in love with it
YES, another one I need to introduce to my kids. Lost in the 2000's
It's ridiculous how good this is..
A random entry into my algorithm. So many memories from this song. Still holds up after all these years.
Anyone else listen this great music in 2021 💗👌😊👍

Zero 7 is the truth... Now and Always. I'm getting goosebumps listening to this live rendition of it
It is timeless. I will be listening to it until I die.
It’s the best version available- I’ve listened to all of them😊

Saw them a couple of times and was never disappointed.
Damn! I'm 72 and was listening to this when they first appeared. Still as good now. Class lasts. Thanks for putting this up.
Bless you Alan. X
you've excellent taste
Alan, you're a gem. I hope to still be here at 72, still enjoying music & still engaging. This live version has been making me smile for a long time. Magic happened here & thanks to Sia Argentina's post, we get to join in. Take care, keep enjoying the music.
Alan . I am 63 . I chase the best of Electronica, Chill , Lounge , progressive house , trance and There are a lot of great artists out there . Unfortunately , this days If you don't get half naked and twerk they don't want you
Yes I totally agree. I wish Sia was the person we see here. She's changed so. This is just classy and beautiful but we are in a different world now
Why am I discovering this now in 2024? Who should I fire for this?

It's 2023, and still watching this song on a regular basis!
Love this damn song. 2023.
2023 and we’re still here for this - complete legends
Remember listening to this song when I was a kid. My dad showed me Zero 7. Just insane of how good they are. Listening in 2023
Always enjoyed this song on our road trips from Texas to Florida
Gosh still gushing over these two. 2023 still here
As someone who has spent years of my life on long haul flights, I can tell you that Zero 7 has been the perfect companion. Noise reduction headset with Simple Things and When It Falls. Pure audio bliss.
same! I do exactly the same on every flight I take. :) its my in-flight ritual. This and Martin Roth, Analogue guy in digital world
sonic morphine for a tired soul....
Maybe why they recorded "Out of Town"
@@ib4zlinux Maybe 😊
I thought I was the only one...Zero 7 has gotten me through many a red eye
All I can say, is that I wish this song was an hour long. Smoothest jam ever. Sia is incredible.
I know! I can just keep listening to them. Such gorgeous music.
I forgot how much I like Zero 7
My lovely friend introduced me to this group in 2002. Still listen today 2024. So underated

Me, buddy.
Here, here. So, so good.

Who isn't!
I love everything about this band's sound. It amazes me to this day how few people have heard of Zero 7. They are amazing. And those voices. Dang.
Ugh, I am devastated that I just discovered them

How come I am just hearing this in 2022? What a cool trippy tune.
This song has such a strong 70's vibe to me. Can't help keep coming back to it, over and over.
One night... I listened to this song on repeat until dawn.

SUBLIME MUSIC
I'm embarrassed to say that in 2023 I've only just realised that the song featured Sia! I genuinely can't believe it!
I love you, early 2000s Sia.
WTF!! I have listened to Sia and Zero 7 like forever...but I have never seen this live version! Everything about this has created a brand new heaven within me! Blessings to all who are here, past present and future. Love and enjoy! 🙏❤
How in the world can this be a live performance? Amazing
They're on tour at this point playing a show almost every night and it shows how tight they are.
Pure awesomeness
Henry and Sam were recording engineers first - Zero 7 was a side project. They sure know how to record!
Saw them live at Glastonbury 2004 and it was as flawless as this despite being in a tent in a muddy field.
ALL the Vocalists sound AWESOME!
This is WHY they're Known Today...
Talented Songwriters AND Performers, LIVE!
Gifted and BLESSED!!!

Bro, I’ve been alive since the 80s but just now found this song in 2023! He did I miss this? Where tf was I? This is excellence in a bottle. 🤘
Listening to.pop music and not indie? 😮
2024 Never get tired of listening to this ....and live too! 💕
One of those songs that I can listen to over and over. Love this version the best! Sia's voice is pure spine-tingling ear candy.
I'm giving love to the back up ladies they are putting it down too
Yeah buddy 👍👌
100%
Love this - respect those ladies too, they killed it!
Yea who are they??? And have they gotten their fame that they deserved yet??
Been saying that for years! Right On! They are the secret sauce!!
My God shes even better live
Man, me and my kids used to play this when I used to take them to elementary school. Simple Things and When it Falls are two of my all time favorites…
This is legit my favorite song of all time. It takes me back to 02 when everything was peaceful in my life. Legendary shit right here smh
Just Bobby I’m literally sitting here trying to figure how many songs I like better. If any
yes my all time fav song ever
Chris Gill there aren’t over 2 for me man smh
Ross Patzelt same!! It does not age to me haha
Me too. This song is utter perfection in every way. Musically. Lyrically. Vocally. Performance. Everything.
Sia is one of the best singers I've ever encountered. Such talent. It's insane.
They could vamp for another 15 minutes and no one would complain!
Sooooo ogoodood ughhhh. How do i go back to this era even though i didnt listen to it when it was released? Nostalgia overload.
I’m addicted to this performance. The harmony is so good!
Yes.
Me too!!
Not to dis Sia - she's great, of course - but I'm so glad someone called out the harmonies as well. They really are exceptional.
Me too it's brilliant
I wondered if I was the only one
Rare for a live version to actually be better than the studio mix but this is one... dang, they killed it!! Everyone's on point!!
not sure about rare dude.. but yeah! Totally nailed it XD
eurrgh.... stop saying 'on point' you arent on the apprentice!
@@darryldearing5537 eeeurgh ...maybe you are the only one who linked this comment to The apprentice? Because i doubt people watching this video are..But good for you if you do..I mean..Your choice.
Yes correct. The live is better than the recording.
Yes, it actually IS rare unless it's mixed as a "live" version from the start--for every Frampton Comes Alive et al, there are hundreds of 'barely there' live sets. Not just imo but the opinion of the artists and producers themselves. It may or may not be the artist but live sets don't usually contain the instruments and accessories and certainly not the playback a studio has. A modicum of homework helps. LOL @@TheHadi545
This sounds much better than the official clip version
Such a great song, Sia with her fantastic voice, makes me write a comment today after enjoying this song for some 20 years.
I believe in my 60 years of my musicianship; I have listened to more music than most. I have seen more live shows than most. Is it possible to be truly in love with a song? Love this song, love this band! Peace from Detroit MI.
I feel you 🙏🏻☺️
@FusionHowie -- You would do well, objectively, to stick with ONLY this:
"Is it possible to be truly in love with a song? Love this song, love this band! Holy shit after many years this song gives me crazy chills each time! Peace from Detroit MI."
.
It seems that your intro is hyperbole.
.
It is indeed✊️
@@Kefoo_ You would do well to try not being less of a pedantic asshole, needlessly “calling out” things that don’t warrant it. Your response to that comment is not only rude, but also really, really fucking weird.
HOW could anyone not LIKE this?! Superb in all respects and timeless.
Zero 7 stills sounds great all these years later!
Takes me right back to my 1st semester in college. Everyone just vibing. Simpler days.
Listening to the whole CD while driving open-roof in my red Mx 5 on a warm 2002 summer night through green Polish highlands with my today’s wife after our first date. The mood was so harmonic that even the policeman who stopped me for overspeeding let us immediately go with a big smile.
Epic!
I had that same car model the same year!😊
Wow, I can't believe this is 20 years old. I was 19 going on 20, done with high school, navigating my college years, looking for love and about to find it, working shabby jobs and trying to figure it out. Walking in NYC on a sunny summer afternoon, just being young, and this awesome timeless song.
2022 whhhhere are u?! Epic performance, stunning Sia plus Sophie!
Make that 2021....and soon to be 2022. Never gets old.
Sophie Barker is so serious, but so beautiful. She has a magnificent voice too along with Sia.
Yeah man lost in those red heels 🤍👠
@@bluethunder5182 Ah! I just noticed that. Yes!
Sia’s voice is so dynamic, that voice stole the show.

I totally agree!
Sia could sing about toilet paper and it would be so deep and passionate. I absolutely love her!
Does she still sing?
@@relaxingvideos5287 yes she's sang loads she's massive now...check out sia-chandelier 😊

I know right, she can sing about a broken heart from bad toilet paper and it will be great.
Kidding aside I cannot stop listening. She is a great artist.
This song truly falls into the "impossible to cover" folder.
Genuine classic.
Listening in 2023 and it’s a timeless song ❤
I've never seen a group of musicians that looked less like musicians. It makes me like them even more. They look like they're on lunch break at their online advertising design firm 😊
😂😂😂 and the guy in the robe 😂
😮 what do you think all musicians look like ? 😅
Whole album, 'simple things,' is incredible. The ultimate comedown album
This is so much more spacious than the studio version
The most powerful song ever.

Absolutely glad you reconciled
. Reminds me of my missing wife...I guess we're divorced now😢
Glad to know you're still with us. Don't do it, ever. Every problem can be fixed, I promise, I was there myself many times, many years ago, I looked down, I considered the mess so I started to do it slowly though drugs and partying. Reach out.
This song, the band and the album "Simple Things" defined that year for me....2002 was hard. I was a young widow facing the world alone. Thank you Zero 7 for the comfort and loveliness that carried me though.
