He bashed a guys head in for basically no reason. I still like the film, and enjoyed the ending, but it's not near as intelligent as people make it out to be. Watch "Falling Down" with Michael Douglas, or hell even "The Cable Guy" with Jim Carrey is a better example of society making someone into a monster in my opinion.
