@@subifudriftkings Actually they do allow 3d printed models. They just have to be custom made or commissioned. They just don’t want you grabbing it off the internet but otherwise you should be fine

@@subifudriftkings I went to an event and the store owner did not allow 3d printed minis until I asked him to refund the money I just spent spent on books and paints. His eyes got the size of diner plates when I dropped the mike with "BTW, what is your markup on paints and gaming books...". As a former store owner I can assure you that if you are keeping a store going by buying paints/books/supplies/Ext then they WILL be happy.

$44 comes in at 3.901% of GW cost. It is even less in the US because here you can get ABS like resin for as little as $12.90 a kilo in bulk and standard resin for slightly over $10 a kilo.

Doing the same thing for a friend of mine. We just want to play, we aren’t doing it competitively. And we just want to have something we think looks cool for us. So I printed an ork army of proxies and him a krieg cadian last stand style army.
