As far as public statements, the director has stated 'The First Descendant will always be here' in rough terms. Given MapleStory and the live service monetization potential, I'd say enjoy every play session but also don't stress about it it'll be here. Warframe is still here and many other games, but I understand enjoying something so much yet not having years to look back on for confidence. Ultimately you keep the game alive, and so do I!
Game definitely isn’t gonna last if the only thing they add each season is a character and a boss. Game was fun as hell in the beginning but now it’s just mid. Whole endgame is to unlock characters and sit in a bunny cave for an hour and do that a thousand times after. once you unlock the characters you want and beat all the bosses there’s no point in playing. Not saying the game is bad but it just lacks a point to play.
Hailey, she looks nice, I like hoodie characters aesthetically. That railgun is massive though, she's gotta have some ridiculous strength to hold it up. Looking forward to trying her out and hope she's good.

I was hoping they show more attention to Sharen and Freyna and its an Ultimate Freyna let's go. Feel bad for anyone who put an energy activator and catalyst/s on her that's gonna be wiped put by the Ultimate version.1 Now that we know start grinding your ammunition/resource boxes and repeat some Infiltration operations so you don't have to do as much grinding when the content releases.

I've only been playing this game for about a week and a half and I'm loving it so far. I just unlocked my first Ultimate Descendant last night Ultimate Lepic man it was a grind but hopefully worth it though. I lost a ton of sleep and time over this game so far with only more yet to come especially after seeing this trailer lol
I played like an hour of the game's campaign and quit. I also played like 10 hours of the beta back like 6+ months ago and enjoyed my time with it. I didn't quit the campaign because I didn't like it. I just didn't know if I should actually invest my time in another looter shooter when I already play Destiny 2 religiously. Should I play through the campaign and all the side quests/bosses over the next 2 weeks before the first season starts and then play that too? What do y'all think? How many hours do I really need to invest in order to see everything the game really has to offer? And without spending any money. 100 hours? Oh, and is there a paid Battle Pass right now? O think I heard there was and that it was trash and not worth the $10. Is that true?
We're going to need more content other than a new ultra hard boss that you need to play the same missions over again to get the stuff needed to defeat it. A lot of us are weary from grinding for new characters too. What this game needs is actual playable content that is fun, if it is to survive. Grindy, abusive mechanics worked in games that came out more than a decade ago, but people are generally more wary now. If you don't respect their time, they will walk away. A few suggestions. Don't insult people's intelligence. We don't want a voice actor talking our ear off telling us what to do. We want to see actual descendants and albion soldiers in the field helping us with our missions. We don't want to escort a slow moving drone for 7 minutes in a generic desert biome, only to do it again in a generic forest biome while a voice actor talks as if the descendant they are representing is in the field with us. Again, don't insult our intelligence. Most players know the drop rates are rigged. The ones who don't are shills that will excuse any flaw the game has. Trust me, their support alone is not enough to keep the game alive. You need everybody. Most people are aware of the lawsuit regarding fake drop rates. So you need to do something to regain the community's trust. Lastly, don't insult the player's intelligence. The valby run nerf was not some "translation error". The buffs to blair and freyna were fake. If you keep brushing off what players want to see in the game and, instead, slow it down by means of making it grindier and more abusive, self respecting players will walk away and spend their money elsewhere. This game has the potential to be amazing, but you must put the effort in and let your greed go. TLDR: Respect the player's time and intelligence.
It's nice to see a Video Game Dev team that will actually listen to their customers. Unlike the majority of the American and especially Xbox and Activision Dev teams.
Finally beat the campaign and really loved the whole ride! Hopefully we can redo cutscenes in a future update and maybe even get the dialog again. Great game and I'll be around for the long haul. 250 hours of slick, smooth, sometimes laggy fun lol. And booty
