Anyone wondering what the song is, it is "Bloc Party - The Pioneers (M83 Remix)" was a blast from the past of my youth when I heard it. Great band who had music that would fit a lot of trailers and films for sure. Give the real band a chance, their first 2 albums are classic 2000s UK indie rock while their later albums are more alternative rock with heavy electronic use.

These trailers just get better and better - knocked it out the park for me. Played every beta since the first, and loved my time with each. Can't wait to sink endless hours into the full release.

@@kevinallen1428Thats the benefit with PvE games. People tend to be more friendly since you are facing off against AI. This time I hope to grind out the weapons to defeat hangedman and whatever bosses beyond.

That beta played GREAT for me and this whole thing just looks amazing. I _LOVE_ the art direction and the creature designs and... *just everything.* Everything looks so freakin' cool and so imaginative - it's what I wanted to see from Outriders but didn't get because that's mostly just, like, space... hobo... punk aesthetic, lol. First Descendant, thanks for being so cool looking and so fun to play! Cannot wait to dive back into this on my Series X next Summer!
Absolutely loved the game. Had an amazing time in both betas. If they improve the audio and somewhat cringy voiceovers the game will be unstoppable.

As the trailer progresses there continues to be fewer and fewer descendants remaining in final battles. I think a LOT of the descendants are going to die one by one, which I think adds a TON of gravity to the story’s impact and player’s experience.
This trailer looks like either Bunny or Viessa is the one we see dead in the river. If done correctly, I think it dwindling down to Valby and the other character we see here being the last ones standing could be one of the best story conclusions in modern games.
Honestly i can't get mad. We the community will like to thank you for the constant update. You guys are doing crazy things that are gonna blow the new/old descendants away. Keep up the great work 😊
Can’t wait! I played the beta and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m definitely hyped that it’s coming out around the end of school, but should the game need more time, take all the time you need, NEXON. :)

Can’t wait to play this game again. Along with finding out more lore and areas to explore. The void intercepts will also be something to look forward to as I hope I can defeat Hangedman (couldn’t get pass this one because I prioritized upgrading the wrong weapon. Apparently, according to gameplay, one of the handguns was the go to weapons for said boss)

@JohnSmith-qb9ex Hopefully the grind isnt as bad as the betas have shown. Lets hope the monetization isnt ludicrous considering its nexon and they arent known for good monetization practices.

It's thoroughly pleasing to see that the Dev's were watching how some of us were experimenting with the mechanics of the grappling hook while fighting the bosses during the open beta. You captured the essence of what I was feeling while performing that move beautifully! Eagerly anticipating the release with actual FUN game play!
[side note] : Having the descendants unlock a primal scream and a damage bonus while performing such manoeuvres would add a bonus rush to these fights... and encourage unique play style with each round. Kind of like an adrenaline metre that builds by how intensely we perform within a certain time frame and by coordinating with/or helping out teammates.
Also... stack chaining with the grappling hook between the environment and adversaries would be WILD in between combos and abilities! [grappling hook extension upgrade perhaps].
"Promised the world we'd tame it..." Cool, someone finally using Bloc Party for their soundtrack🤘 I'm looking forward to the game!

Just recently learned about this game after watching the trailer in The Game Awards.
Was one of the trailers that most got my attention. Good aesthetics, and great choice of music for the trailer. Apparently you fight mechanical bosses with a squad from what I gather, looks fun.

@@TerranceShields-yd6pz Yea. I loved my time in the betas. Though I did come across some a-holes because I guess they didnt like the power leveling that Bunny offered to friends in the latest beta from a few months ago. Aside from that, the people are friendly as hell.

Im sure Nexon has a sour history with monetization, but, why are so many people so quick to criticize The first decendant having pay to progress faster aspects when it is perfectly okay for Digital Extremes to have the EXACT same feature in their 10 yr old Warframe game that is still a thriving game. Explain to me the difference if there even is any.
I had a blast during the beta. Had Gley & Bunny max level & all Bosses completed. I don’t mind waiting.
I grinded the beta and loved it. Excited to play it again soon!!!

Played the beta with my 10yo nephew like a lan party, sitting next to eachother me on pc, him on ps5. Some of our closest memories, he always asks me about the release date and reminds me of the fun we had🎉🎉❤

I had a lot of fun playing this. I just hope the feedback we gave was enough for them to push the game out and make it fun, not grindy, and rewarding.

I hope the devs aren’t afraid to kill off a massive portion of the cast. I think it would be a very bold move that attaches increasing gravity to the story if characters were to fall one by one. The trailer seems to hint to this as we see fewer descendants as time goes on.
I would love to see a game where the stakes are actually felt and characters we play as die until we’re left with Valby and what I think is Blaire?
Could turn out to be one of the best modern game storylines if done correctly.
And it's on Ps4! I can actually be excited about a new game.
