😮 Wow! What a stunning renovation! I honestly did not expect to see the dresser turn out so well ✅. I love ♥️ the contrast between the dark mahogany and the drawer fronts. TFS your expertise and the process you used. 💚🌹♥️
Outstanding! I always appreciate it when someone doesn't just slap paint on a piece but rather restores it.
That turned out BEAUTIFUL. Nicely done, Ross. I was having doubts about that real dark stain but when you pair that with the lighter/reddish drawers it turns it into a masterpiece. Guess that shows how much I lack an eye for that kind of thing, lol. Beautiful little mid-century desk! Can't beat free + a little bit of elbow grease!
this is not restoration, it became a brand new one totally. excellent handskill.
One mans trash is another mans treasure! Great job! You’re very talented!
Beautifull, beautifull! A perfect restoration, in a pure Art Decor style
OMG.. that before and after pics look amazing. This kinda brings back memories. My ex husband used to do this wood working and he also restored a few old pieces.. ugh the smell of chemicals coz he used to do it inside during the winter. He made beautiful pieces though. He was an avid fan of "This Old House".
Wow! You did a beautiful impressive makeover. The contrasting drawers reminds me of Bedermeier style furniture. You did an excellent job. Thanks for sharing.
Those that protect our history, art and traditions, for subsequent generations, deserve a medal.
Tearing down things is easy. Any fool can do that. Preservation requires foresight, hard work, sacrifice and dedication. In other worlds, all the honorable attributes of decent pioneering Americans.
Beautiful post, and I couldn't agree with you more.
@@serentique he did not paint anything. He used stain.
Are these the same decent, pioneering Americans that did their best to wipe out Native American history, art and traditions?
Right on that's what I say. That's also my reason for doing what I do - to restore so future generations will this stuff to enjoy
@@timeladyshayde get off the blanket white man bad kick. This is about restoration, not grovelling politics.
I cant stop watching these restoration videos! Their amazing!
You have done an amazing job on this.I like the contrasting draw fronts ,it really gives the piece character ..I like to see a basically great piece of furniture restored so someone else can enjoy it 😀
That was incredible. I wish I knew more about how to do this kind of thing. I've sanded down & refinished some simple pieces before but nothing to this extent! Incredible work.
That Desk was in rough shape when you brought it to your shop. NOW look at it!!!!! wonderful job.
Thanks for making the world more beautiful.
Gorgeous save!!! You definitely know your stuff! Love the two-tone. Art deco piece that I hope you got a great price for. Love your channel.
Such an awesome video, it came out amazing! Such a beautiful piece I'm so glad you stripped the ugly paint off, looks so much more gorgeous and elegant! Very satisfying to watch, thanks for sharing your passion with us!
Incredibly unfortunate that someone thought they were upcycling and they destroyed the original underneath.
However, you are a master craftsman! Great job!
What an absolute treat watching you do this work! Thank you. I’m new to your channel and will be back to watch more of your restoration work. The desk turned out beautifully!
After seeing this beautiful transformation lot of people will try to recreate looks and all and they will finally fuck it up and leave. But this transformation is amazing and should be appreciated.
Терпение, смекалка и ЗОЛОТЫЕ РУКИ!!!! БРАВО!
Hey buddy i'm 70 years old and we had one of them desk when i was a kid and that print didn't come with that desk! that was added on. The desk was just varnished finish, Plus that dask had a matching mirror with it
So, you had one like it? There's a lot of variations out there I'm sure. Love the final results, very positive. 😊
Absolutely beautiful! They knew how to make furniture in times past.
Ross that came out Beautifully. Love the two tones. That took it to the next level.....
