    I'm obviously biased here, but I think everyone should give penhold a try! It's way more challenging, but I think it makes the game much more fun to play! There's so many micro adjustments you can make to your grip and the extra wrist flexibility is amazing during the game. Also, like you said, in statistical terms there are way more shakehanders than penholders in the present day, and that is reflected in how many more shakehanders are let's say in the top 50. However, I strongly believe we might see a penhold comeback given the growing popularity of player like Felix L. and Dang Qiu. They're both a thrill to watch and have very distinct playing styles. If you're just starting the sport and are up for having your mind blown just watch some of Xu Xin highlights! Thanks for yet another great video Alois!

    I think you should use Seemiller grip.

      Maybe, it is not very popular these days though :)
