  • In this training session you'll develop your control over the ball using some off table exercises, then progress through to performing a consistency challenge to see how many balls you can hit on in a row.
    Before watching this video you should look at the Most Important Skill Tutorial - www.pingskills.com/tutorials/...
    This series is aimed at beginners or those wishing to teach beginners.
    Thanks for watching! We love making table tennis videos and hope they'll help you understand the game of table tennis.
    Good luck with your table tennis.
    Cheers,
    Jeff Plumb and Alois Rosario

    I love the videos. They got me started and gave me the confidence to continue learning. I felt so dumb stuck in the game with the rules not understanding how volleys work and what a let go is. It's so easy to follow the instructions and it's really good to see you used real good example to show which player earns a point. Thank you very much for doing this. Grateful!

    hi pingskills, im in the school team thanks to you!
    i just bought a custom made racket.
    for forehand, i use black hurricane 3 neo rubber
    for backhand, i am using a red nittaku factive, which is a new rubber for good backhand spin
    both rubbers are good for me, but the blade i buy, is a china brand blade (dawei) that is very heavy when i add both rubbers, with a mass of 184 grams
    what blade should i change it to which is lighter when both rubbers are added?

    • @pingskills
      @pingskills  6 лет назад

      Congratulations on making the school team. As for the blade, we aren't really equipment experts. The rubbers do make more of a difference rather than the blade. If I were you I'd try the bat for another week or two to see if you get used to it.

    As someone who has been training semi-professionally for around 2 years I think that this video is a bit off. It misses what control actually is. You will develop some control but it is slow and tedious. It may sound annoying but the best way to get better control is just practice more. As in just hit a forehand loop with a partner. It takes time and by wasting time doing useless moves its better just to train normally.
