Hello
That's Doraemon's 4D pocket you can pretty store anything there 😂😂😂
😂
We do have a lot more advanced videos on our website. We want to cover all aspects of Table Tennis so I understand that this is a very basic skill but if you are just starting out in Table Tennis it can be hard to get right.
Stay tuned because we are refilming a lot of our lessons in full 1080p HD and there will certainly be some more advanced topics. Thanks for the feedback!
Clear, to the point guidance at a nice pace. Cheers.
As long as they follow the other rules, such as throwing the ball up nearly vertical and not hiding the ball throughout the serve.
Easy to understand, straight to the point, excellent.
i used to make the mistake of pulling the bat up while throwing the ball up during serve...now i dont..thanks to this video..every video teaches me sth...thnks a lot....we dont have the privilege of getting trained under a professional player or coach...so ur videos r a great treasure...
Thanks. It's great to hear stories like yours.
I used to throw the bat on accideny
You're welcome. Nice work!
The main disadvantage is that as the players get better, they will be able to make a strong attack off this serve, especially if you serve it all the time. As a surprise tactic though, this can work well. As a guide we recommend you serve 80% of your serves short and 20% long. You can vary this depending on your opponent and how well they return each type of serve.
Nice spotting!
I’ve played table tennis for years and I just learned a lot from this video. Well done.
Beautifully explained. Professionally produced.
Thanks Jerry.
I had a tournrnament with my school and I came third thanks to your tutorials

@@pingskills Hey, you still doing well?
@@tls-mz1fu Yes, thanks!
@@pingskills awesome, you helped me with school work thanks
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for passing on your skills. You are fantastic.
No you don't have to hit 6 inches above where you threw it from. You actually need to throw it up at least 6 inches but you also must hit the ball on the way down. The point of the rule was to stop players throwing the ball into their bat when serving as this gave them an advantage in generating more spin. The rules are to make returning the spin serves easier.
This was really helpful, as I am hoping to get better in table tennis and your channel is a perfect guide. Thanks :)
did you get better
it's still helpful after 7 years, thank you
That is good to hear. Good luck with your table tennis.
That sounds great :)

You're welcome.
Some good tips for the tournament tomorrow. Thanks!
Wow best video ever I have been trying to find a good tennis serve video and finally lol
I indeed learn a lot watching your tutorial videos :-)
Thanks for the fantastic explanation!!
You're most welcome anand chandak
Great video dude~
( helped me realize how idiotic I look at 3:10 when I do the same thing sometimes xD )
Btw my serve's pretty good (quick and ends in a tough spot) but I lack any control or spin , what should I do?
I'm glad it helped. The key to getting spin is to have a fast brushing contact. This can be difficult at first so we suggest trying something away from the table. Try to hit the ball onto the floor with backspin and see if you can get it to spin back to you. Once you can do that you know you are getting some good spin so then go back to the table and try the same thing there. Let me know how it goes.
Such a good teacher 🥰
Thanks for the amazing tips and tricks!!!
Thanks!
Sir thank you so much tomorrow there will be our trial and I wanted to be selected I was a little bit nervous but after watching your video I feel confident and I hope I play nicely in front of everyone just wish me luck and again thanks a lot..
How’d it go?
?
Excellent tutorial! Brilliant thank you!
All this time I was serving without throwing the ball up high😅 thanks for explaining it so detailedly
You're welcome.
Too good sir respect for you from India
At the top level, all players move very fast. A fast low serve will bounce off the table, so the opponent will be able to attack it, because there is a lot of maneuvering room outside the table. Therefore, top players will mostly serve short serves. The returner needs to start his shot above the table, reducing the scope for attack.
As a surprise shot, a fast low serve without much spin may still work. You can watch Ma Long serve such relatively flat serves down the line occasionally.
My first time serving will be later and thank you so much for the info. 🤗
Good luck!
Sir you are inspiration
yoo my man you are the best, wish you luck
Thanks for the tip, PingSkills!

It lists the exact size for a table tennis table.
Thank you so much. I need to do it right for my P.E.
You're welcome. I hope you did OK.
How also just like the end music!
Hi PingSkills,
If an opponent swings at the ball when serving and misses, do you win the point?
really helpful
I use to serve holding the ball with my finger, and also close into the board
Then technically in an official match this would be an illegal serve.
in serve, can you hit the ball while it rises? or do you have to hit it when it falls?
Thanks🙏🏻
yes it was :)
Can you please make a tutorial video for a very short service with alot of backspin on the ball?
REALLY HELPFULThanks
+Saaya Prasad You're welcome. I'm glad it helped. Make sure you check out the PingSkills website for more of our videos.
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot ❤️
Greetings Coach
My donic black devil blade got hit on the table and the top most layer of the backside of blade probably the carbon layer peeled out from the boundary. Now my question is the balde now useless or it can be pasted back with glue or something .
Awaiting your response.
Thanks
Nitin Bhandari I'm sorry to hear that has happened. I've never seen that happen before so I'm not really sure. I'd try and glue it back down and see if it can be saved! If you like you can ask the question on the ask the coach section of our website and we can see if any of our PingSkillers have had this happen to them and what they did.
This is great. Please wish me goodluck for the ping pong game i'll be playing tomorrow.
Good luck!
PingSkills thank you!! I have been selected to represent my school in a county-level championship. Kinda nervous😣
Well done. Keep up the good work!
Thank you.
it is so helpful
I'm glad you found it helpful.
can you stand in any position for the serve? Can you you stand to the far left or far right on the side of the table as long as you stay behind the horizontal line?
+Os He Yes you can stand anywhere but you do have to make contact with the ball behind the end line or extension of the end line.
If while serving, the ball comes in contact with fingers or thumb of the hand holding the racket during the hit, is it legal ?
i am starting now thanks bro
thanks
Hey, i like your videos a lot. You are very good at explaining the technics but i think it would be even more awsome if you show some more advanced technics because i don't think that there are so many people who are watching this and aren't able to execute this serve and that this video isn't very helpfull for the majority of your followers. Hopefully that didn't sound rude to you, you are doing a great job and i just wanted to give you an idea to make even more fantastic videos :)
Hello coach...sir just like to ask.. .. i changed my rubber now.. a TEBHAR K2 HYBRID hardness 57..and A HURRICANE 8 hardness 38..
My question is which rubber is good for back hand in for hand..? Pls i need some advice.. thank you..
Sorry we don't really keep up with all the options. There are so many good choices and it really comes down to personal preference.
thanks for teaching me for my contest on september I will give you 5 stars bye
Good luck at your competition.
My friends serve is *-UNSTOPPABLE-*
Then you should take a look at some of our receiving tutorials: www.pingskills.com/categories/serving-and-receiving

thanks for posting this video...it helps!
Thank you so much
Which side of your racket do you use for which balls red or black?
You can use either, it doesn't matter.
Legal serve --> 1:32
Bro has infinite ping pong balls💀
It is true, that's an infinite pocket!
*I'm new to Ping Pong, so this might be a stupid question, but when people are rallying and standing further and further from the table, why don't they ever tap it to hit it short? Or does this defy the physics of the game and that's not possible?? It just seems like whenever I see a long rally, people are just returning it with the same power instead of switching up short and deep shots. Or when one player is fixated on attacking and smashing, he just keeps going at it trying to break the defense instead of hitting a tricky drop shot.*
A tricky drop shot can be effective. Google "pingskills drop shot" to see our tutorial on it. However if you are a little bit away from the table in can difficult to get it short enough, and so often people prefer to keep on attacking.
It's going too fast for them to just tap it, it will just bounce off or bat and then out
even if you tap it, chances are the ball has a lot of top spin in such a rally, meaning it will go high if you tap it, giving the opponent an opportunity to smash the ball with full strength.
Cool music
I like your turorial
