Traditional ramen of north kyoto(天一、ゑびす、魁力屋、極鶏、ますたに) is made the soup by chicken borne and vegetable,it means north kyoto were biggest farm. Traditional south kyoto ramen(第一旭、藤、大栄、萬福、横綱、銀閣) is made soup by pork,it means south kyoto were biggest pig ranch.

I miss Japan, was in Fukuoka for a time and I really enjoyed my time there. I lived in South Korea for 4 months and I admit I went crazy going to different cafes. These videos bring back such wonderful memories, I really need to go back.

Karaage and ramen together; what a great idea. I wish my local ramen shops offered that. One more thing: I can't image eating that 4.5x normal size bowel of ramen. My stomach can barely take a normal bowl. BTW I like the music cue in the first segment; it's a nice counterpoint to the locale and culture.

I love the choices you have all over Japan for ramen. Everywhere you go each region has it's own flavors and toppings. Kinda like BBQ in the US.
