The Mind of a Chef
Narrated by Executive Producer Anthony Bourdain, The Mind of a Chef combines cooking, travel, history, humor, art and science into a cinematic journey, each episode capturing another glorious flicker from the mind of its subject and focusing on what it truly means to cook, think, create and live in the food-obsessed world that is The Mind of a Chef. - Хобби
We missed you Anthony.
a lot
He’s alive
@@Jungle1048that's what I feel about my best friend who passed earlier this year. Hard to believe someone's gone.
@@technopong that’s my mindset dude. I think of people who have passed as alive and they are just away on a trip or something. It helps
We all know He knew something about epstein...apparently the list gets released soon..
We all miss Anthony. He said Japan food reminded him of home. He said it made him feel like he belonged there. RIP my man
I was blown away the first time I had Kaiseki in Japan. After the experience, I felt so fortunate to be alive and grateful for my friend's parents for introducing the wonderful food to me. ありがとう ございます
If there was ever a food heaven on earth, Japan for me is definitely it. I could be happy eating any number of their amazing dishes for the rest of my life and never grow tired. That meal in Kyoto should be on any foodies bucket list. Simply amazing.
I love this formatting
This series makes me happy
Love Japanese food
omg i remember seeing this on directv in my attic computer room when i lived with my dying father like 15 years ago.
We LOVE ANYTHING WITH CHEF DAVID CHANG!!!!
crispy chili
We love Japan ❤️🇯🇵
Anthony would be mind blown in the world we live in today.
Actually I doubt that very much.
He would be so intensely unhappy with the world post pandemic
Hearing Tony's voice in something I haven't seen yet is always nice. Miss his perspective right now, the world definitely needs to come together over a good meal.
_Kaiseki_ cuisine is one of those that you can only enjoy in Japan and now that the dollar is stronger, it's more accessible to ordinary folks.
Not limited to Japan but of course it's nice if you can make it there. The US has 2-Star Michelin kaiseki in n/naka.
When were these ever aired? All these episodes are too good!
Like 11 years ago
One of the best shows ever made and that starter David Chang to make other shows. I watched this always on Netflix and its nice to see PBS put this on their RUclips.

Chef Chang giving mad props to ROADHOUSE... I wanna hang out with that dude!!!

Anyone knows what brand glasses his friend has at the start in the bar?
Miss ya
I want you to be everything that's you, deep at the center of your being.
The glacier came alive as the climbers hiked closer.
🙏🏻
I’m nearing the point of being completely ok with going into crippling debt to visit Japan
Where are you from? Inflation hasn't hit some of the Asian cou tries as hard as America. Japan could be worth it, just need to find a way to sustain.
@@wed3k I’m being a smidge overdramatic, but I’m from Canada. I just have a wife that has expensive taste 😂
Original Iron Chef watchers know the kombu
Good to see more people have a fetish on Nishiki market anyway Kikunoi is still on my bucketlist ❤😊

Antony loved Việt Nam food
Just hit the play button without reading anything - even the title. Surprised by how familiar the voice is.. and thats I go back to read the title. And I was right, it was narrated by Anthony Bourdain.
Where are the eggs???
is that burdane's voice????
no
In the beginning, yes, it’s Anthony Bourdain
Resurrected from the dead using AI.
tony... ;_;
I’m surprised the Buddhist-heritage restaurant served non-vegetarian dishes… 😮
Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. And today? Today is a gift that's why they call it the present.
Dislike for Mr Chang trying get patent right of one of his momofuku product which already existing long long time.
It just the crunchy chili sauce bro…
And Antony want to live Việt Nam
The commentary from the guy with the pony tail is cringey.

What's up with Peter and his "lady's drink" and "lady's portion"? Dude. Just no.
Garbage from PBS again
Why is it garbage?
Why are we hearing anthony bourdain.......?
That's super weird and unpleasant. Don't resurrect a dead man.
This is from 2012. He narrated the series.
This is an old series...made when he was alive....🙄
Your head must explode when you watch “gone with the wind” or other old films where everyone in them has passed.
