I bought 2 vinyl-shield rolls..But the vinyl shield isn’t sticking to the tumblers/water bottles after sitting for more 48 hours. Is there something wrong with the vinyl shield 😢 is there something else we can do to activate the adhesive that would make it stick permanently??l
Vinyl Shield will have very much the same characteristics as your adhesive vinyl...if the surface isn't prepped ahead of time by either washing and drying the surface or using alcohol to remove dust and finger oils or if the surface has any texture, adhesive materials will have more difficulty sticking to the surface. Also, be sure you are not touching the adhesive side of the Vinyl shield, as that will prevent the material from sticking. One thing we have done to help the adhesion on tricky surfaces: hit the area with the warmth of a heat gun or hair dryer. This helps the adhesion bond with the surface. If you follow these suggestions and are still having troubles, please email us and send us photos to info@therhinestoneworld.com. Thanks! -TRW Pilar
