    • @martyc909
      @martyc909 6 лет назад +12

      Lachlan Talbot well at the time ECW was all infomercial, so since ECW wasn't making money on the show there was no profit to sue for. Since shows like WWF and WCW made ad money, companies could sue for that. It's why when ECW joined TNN, they changed the music before.

    I don't even like rap but god damn it was a lot better in the 90s... much like any other genre these days I suppose.

      ronjon83 rap was way better in the 90s. I guess like everything else, sports, movies, wrestling, the economy...

    chris jericho's 1st wcw theme is called "days of my life" instrumental which was listed in Firstcom's production music catalog and he did not use the mammoth version; as mammoth sold the rights to that song to become a production track

    Speaking of Elix Skipper, when he was in TNA he was part of the stable Triple X (with Low Ki & Christopher Daniels) who's theme was a rip-off of DMX's "X Gon Give It To Ya".
    Also, Da Baldies from ECW's theme, "King Of The Streets" seem to sound like either two things: Slowed down versions of "I, Zombie" & "I Am Hell" by White Zombie or a straight rip-off of "Clown" by Korn (but that's just me).

    Always enjoy these videos. Though one to add the list is Tomko's TNA theme sounds A LOT like "Vicarious" by the band Tool. Also, Kevin Nash's theme was a blatant rip off of "Come With Me" or well the guitar riffs from "Kashmir" which was performed by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page.

    Honorable mention goes to Shane Douglas' WCW theme ripping off his ECW theme.

    Don't forget Nash's second TNA theme which was a knockoff of "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin.

    TNA was probably able to use the instrumental of the NWO Theme for Hogan because Jimmy Hart was also with TNA at that time, and Hart was the Composer of that Theme.

    The Road Warriors used a rip-off of "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath (which they actually used to walk out to in the NWA) in WCW, and Rick Steiner used a rip-off of "Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns 'N' Roses (again, a song he used previously in the NWA with his brother, Scott) in WCW, during one of his single runs...

      Will Cooke the Rock Steiner one was featured in the previous video. Maybe watch that one so you don't suggest a theme that's already been mentioned.

      That We Are Ironmen theme sounded like it could have been done by Chris Tsangarides, they were using a ton of his stuff at the time. Vader and Mark shared Heavenly Thunder at GAB 90, and just a few months later a couple Priest songs (Chris T produced Painkiller, even co-wrote Touch of Evil) were on Halloween Havoc promos

    Awesome vids! If you're going to make a part 3, putting Chris Sabin's TNA "hail Sabin" theme on the list would be cool, it's a watered down version of "offbeat bareass" by 311...
