- A wrestler's entrance theme is part of what makes up the total package needed to be successful, but sometimes a wrestler is given a theme that doesn't quite fit his or her persona. Today we're going to talk about Entrance Themes That Don't Fit.

Goldberg's "Crush 'em" by Megadeth is always one that will leave me scratching my head.
And especially Crush 'Em.

Weird too that Sting used Seek and Destroy by Metallica.
"Crush 'Em" would've been fine if they edited it instead of having him come out to the full unedited track, long ass intro and all.

It was Kidmans long hair, tank top and jeans that gave him that rebellious, hip, edgey, young, appearance. Since it became short and he went shirtless, he came off more generic looking, and had a more older demeanour to him. Which made the theme seem out of place. Had he kept his original appearance, it would of fit in. Because i too have noticed this exact same thing. Until i figured out what the issue was.
The lyrics don't fit Kidman on any level. "You see society, they label me a threat" I mean I guess Kidman had kind of that school shooter threatening vibe but that's about it lol
Also his original wcw theme was pretty rad
Not gonna lie, I actually pissed myself laughing the first time I saw Rob Conway come out with his "Just Look at Me" theme on tv.
That "Just Look At Me" Theme is gold and don't you deny it.
I didn't know gold turds existed...
Not as a wrestling theme. I loved that theme when I first heard it, I still like it, but in a wrestling show it kills a crowd faster than a nuke.
That Hulk rap was beyond brutal

Marcus Cor Von's theme would fit Ernest Miller, in my opinion. At least I think so.

Well I think "On Your Knees" was an amazing song, and even though it didn't fit Jack's All-American gimmick, it made him look badass. Also I totally thought the song was RATM's before realizing it was a cover band, amazing job they did.
SigmaTV almost every entrance theme during the Attitude era were influenced by RATM songs, Stone Cold, Christian's 1999-2000 theme, The short lived Union stable, DX, X-Pac, and Triple H's "My Time" theme.

TaTu's theme suited Victoria's crazy persona really well, complimented by her eerie titantron
The thing is, TaTu is a lesbian musical group, so it was a bit...odd to see a former Hoe (which Victoria was) end up being a crazy chick flanked by Stevie Richards with a lesbian band theme.

The Wolfpac theme is great. Nash was ahead or just plain understood the fanbase. I do agree the song didnt fit with most members though.
It's great watching your videos man, I consider myself like a mid-card level wrestling knowledge person, and watching your videos I learn a lot about wrestling even though I kinda don't want too.... weird. Either way keep up the good work.

Juan A. Tena agreed, Wolfpack theme was epic. I don't know if you're a baseball fan, but former MLB star Jason Giambi used to walk up to bat with the Wolfpack theme song every time.
It fit Nash and Konnan, who were the only two members when they started using it. It wasn't the best for Sting, and didn't fit Luger at all.
On an episode of breaking ground they actually covered when Nia got her current theme.She wasn't to happy about it. I wonder if it was a rib but since she didn't complain outright they kept it.
lmfao, I knew Kidman's WWE theme was gonna be on here as soon as I saw the title. Always liked Kidman, but it was always hilarious seeing this unassuming vanilla guy coming out to some hard psuedo DMX.

Yeah, her "gimmick" is so bad. But that's the current climate these days.

I loved Swagger's first theme, I think it suited the heel character. Him wanting people to get on their knees and praise him or something. I preferred that one to the one he had with Colter and there on out.

Ted DiBiase Jr's "I come from money" is probably the biggest example in my opinion.
I feel like Rob Conway's theme fit him, mostly because it was one of those identifiable numbers. You hear that music and immediately you're rolling your eyes. 'oh god. Here comes Rob Conway'
The problem is, you want fans to boo the heel, not groan at him, roll your eyes and get off your seat to grab some pop corns.

The Chris Benoit theme was first used by him in WCW in 1993. He then left to go back to Japan, then ECW and back to WCW. They just gave him the music that he already used 3 years before. It kind of suited him in 1993 and up until he became a horseman.

I don't know if it counts but Brodus Clays funkadactyl theme was the opposite of how he should have been portrayed. I know they made him a dancer but why? Wouldn't it have been much better if he kept his NXT persona and had a rougher theme song/gimmick?

Victoria's 1st theme: Tatu- all the things she said, became a huge global hit so maybe they dropped it due to the cost of using it.

Talking about entrance themes that don't fit and you use the theme from Virtua Racing at the start of a wrestling video, the fucking irony, but still fucking awesome.
I honestly expected Cesaro to be on this list, his current theme is not bad, it just doesn't fit him at all, so much so that it actually makes me feel awkward for him everytime he comes out to it. In the past when there has been a theme that seems off, I eventually come to accept it to some degree, but Cesaro's is just so unfitting still even after all this time that it's cringeworthy.
This reminds me of Brian Zane's worst theme countdown!
