That happened to Branden Flash on his R1T and was covered under warranty. You should be good. I believe it will require a trip to the service center for the brackets on the underside to be replaced as well.
Many of the early rivians had missing/loose screws on the under body panels...being loose it would be easy for wind or a puddle to rip it off. Should be good to go with warranty
I can resonate. My 94-year-old dad-in-law dinged my first screen protector with his cane and I had to replace it. So… water splashed up in the cover, and the weight tore it off…? Quick question regarding Teslas. Since you guys are now in the north east have you or anyone else you know had issues with rusting? Just curious as the winters here are not kind to vehicles normally with roads being salted more than McDonald's fries.

I've heard this issue happening often on the Rivian driving through puddles. Apparent design flaw. And this is supposed to be an off road vehicle.
