Fellow MYP red with my rivian on order but not as lucky to get it so quick as you have a question about suspension comfort. How does this compare to MYP. You would think that’s a dumb question but some of the reviews think the R1T has a hash “sport” suspension. Sport truck, ok sport harsh in general, got that already. I’m keeping my MYP, want the rivian to be my all purpose vehicle that is also comfy
Are these the same reviewers that think the R1T drives like a Porsche 911?? 😂 I think the MYP’s and R1T’s suspension are very much different. The MYP’s suspension is sporty, firm, and like a lifted go kart as you know. I don’t have a problem when people say the MYP’s ride is firm because it’s a performance SUV…I’d expect it to ride like that lol. I do think the R1T’s suspension is significantly tuned more for comfort than sportiness. Is it probably the most sporty suspension on a stock truck? Sure but it does not ride like the MYP. It’s a comfortable ride especially on HWYs/interstates. Is it as comfortable as a MB GLS, no, but it’s still a great ride and comfortable. The R1T will most definitely fit your bill of being an all purpose vehicle that is comfy.
@@EVandChill That is so reassuring, thx. I’ve been second guessing my Rivian order from some of the reviews I’ve seen on the criticisms qof it’s ride quality. I’ve never seen one in person yet I’m supposed to buy this thing without test driving it. Crazy world we live in now. Will keep my order. We’ll see
Well if you ever drive through RI, let me know, I’ll let you take it on the road. I find it comfortable, my family finds it comfortable, everyone else that’s rode in it finds it comfortable. Most of my family actually prefers the ride to it vs my MYP. Worst case scenario, it will probably be the best riding “truck” you’ve ever driven.
Thanks for the detailed info, and you were spotted yesterday (Sunday) taking exit 8a off of 95N... I mean, c'mon, how many blue Rivians in the entire state??? Had to floor my EV6 to catch up & check it out... Looks real fine!
Rivian looks great overall. What do you think will happen to Rivian once CyberTruck arrives! Rivian’s interior looks awesome especially the seats and dashboard. The air compressor, wow! Never knew about that. The auto thing that moves to open up the back is cool too. It’s nice, but will it be CyberTruck nice?
I am so in love with your videos! I can’t wait for my truck to come! I have red with white interior :) can you do more videos showing the paint quality? Would love to see how the metallic flakes show :)
Hey, great videos.. crack me up how you slide those husband comments in. -- So I have the OC on order, but on the fence still with it. How is holding up with dirt and keeping it clean? Thanks again for your videos.
To compare it with my MYP that has white seats, I have to routinely (weekly) clean the MYP seats whereas I’ve had the truck since September and have yet to clean them other than wiping down with a napkin. They’ve been very resistant against dirt and anything else my 4yo can bring on! We had to wait longer because of having the OC configured but it was well worth it!
