Our R1T just turned 1 year old with no issues. It's amazing a company this new built something so well made! I agree with everything you said about it and the updates hopefully coming soon. The last update with the suspension was a mind blowing! It's like a completely different vehicle. My most wanted feature is entertainment in the screens and the big towing update in the works.Rivian claims it's coming soon, so fingers crossed!
😊 amazing electric truck in the future. I just hope that jaguar land rovers get their act together and ditch the toxic fossil fuel lump that they insist on making and build something more like a rivian. 😊 congratulations on the new baby! 😊
These trucks are 90k and up. That's just a lot for a truck. It's still a truck and a truck with a very small bed. It looks good though. The Cyber truck looks stupid. The Rivian looks so much better.
The R1Ts have gotten down to under $70k on CarGurus. Not great but not terrible.

Any opinion on the Fisker Ocean? Will you be getting one? It looks pretty awesome, and this is coming from a Tesla fan boy 😂
We actually had an order for one from the beginning but we canceled it about 4 months ago. I think it looks pretty good but was worried about the sustainability of the brand/company.
New EV companies need to be able to showcase how their vehicle is different than other options (Rivian R1=Adventure vehicle; Lucid=Longest Range; Tesla=SC network and best tech) and I haven’t found that to be the case for them. I think they will be just like over EV options that get lost and aren’t noteworthy which could be their downfall because unlike other EV manufacturers, Fisker will need the Ocean to be a success in order to stay alive.
I always enjoy hearing from My Girl Shannon. I've seen a lot of Rivian vids and yours is one of the nicest. I'd keep it at least a couple of more years. By then all of us will have a better understanding of the pros and cons of the Cybertruck. By the way, after nine months I finally got a build date for my Chevy Bolt EV. October 2nd. That is as long as it's not affected by the strike lol. As of right now the Bolt is still in full production. Gr8 vid as usual, Shannon. 🚙 🇺🇸 🔌 🌺

What I like about the R1T is the midsize-it doesn’t dominate like a regular F150 can. While have driven the Lightning and really like it a lot, for my usual trips in the burns and city locations the R1T should be easier parking wise . My only negative is the lack of CarPlay and SiriusXM😢
I do have the Sport tires but I just went over 31,000 miles and they have many miles left.

Whoa! Long time, no see, Shannon! Missed you. And, as I imagined, in the interim you've now got another kiddy seat occupied in your vehicle. I hope that delivery was a joyous as the one for the R1T -but 9 lbs. 3 ounces! Yeow! Talk about open wide! If I were you, I'd PASS on the CyberTruck. It will not prove as practical and useful as your R1T. IMHO, I do NOT think it looks "awesome" -and the CEO doesn't deserve the sale. Indeed, I intend to relinquish my Tesla in the not-too-distant future.

I agree with you, Rivian is vehicle that will stay in “our stable” for a long time to come. We usually rotate vehicle every 2-4 years. I’m really curious about the R2, that might be the one that gets you out of of your MY?
We’ll see! I think I’ll more than likely go with a bigger vehicle like R1S than stay with a MY size vehicle.
I have over 26,000 miles on my R1S and still plenty of tread left on tires.

It looks nice, but $99,000 ? That’s a very high price and not realistic. I don’t think Rivian will survive at these prices with CT coming.

As a shareholder, thanks for promoting Rivian and trying to put Rivian's issues in a positive light. Rivian vehicles may be overpriced and lack basic features, but it's early. Rivian may have more flaws than other BEV makers, such as Tesla and Ford. But if we don't get investors to stay motivated and buy more shares of Rivian, then Rivian will never get the traction needed to become a mass production BEV seller. So thanks again for not harping on lack of Apple Play, defective interface, defective bed cover, lack of glove compartment and high price and instead focusing on positive things like able to carry passengers and cargo.
