Thank you for the video! I've bought these 3 weeks ago, and 3 days ago I finally took them on the mountain after a night of fresh snow. I just want to say that I was passing by all the other cars stopping to put snow-chains on, my car was not slipping at all, and I felt really comfortable and in control on these, until I reached the ski resort I was heading to. I'm really impressed with these tires, if they hold up for the km they are advertised, they are amazing! I'll be back in two years to give you my honest opinion after I wear them out!

Glad to hear that. It is completely new experience for me too, so if they will last with the same grip and characteristics as they have now - as a new tires- than I am happy. Thank you for sharing.toir experience. Many happy kilometres.

I have bought kleber quadraxer 3 from michelin company. The kleber seler guy said it is the same eco-mixed tyre ingrediemts as in CC2 but with a bit different cuting on the tyre to make a different brand tyre. The first snow in Poland and I must say kleber is awsome! An take a look at winter tyres from Kleber klisarp line. They have the same (as in CC2 and quadraxer3) tyre pattern with V shape. They are relly winter tyres with summer homologation thus thay with thear a wee bit faster unfortunatelly.

I have them as well in Italy. No snow so far (what a pity), but I have tested the Kleber Quadraxer 3 on a FWD car in different conditions and temperatures, from -5°C to 40°C and they are always good.

These are like revamped Goodyear Aquatreads from the 80's with reformulated materials to make them handle well in snow and ice. Sipes and grooves go right to the base allowing very little performance degradation. Which incidentally, Michelin warrants for 100k km. Groves start at 10/32 of an inch (8 mm) when new. Hit about 5/32 (4 mm) after about 130k km normal wear and bottoms out at 2/32 (2mm) at unknown km. At which point they do not warrant performance.

They are almost as good as true winter tires. Problem is they do not stay soft and plyable like real winter tires so they are not as good on packed snow or ice. probably better than all season tires.

Looks similar to Nokians I've been using for many years now.

Nokians are a beast of a snow tire I bought a set used on ebay for 350 dollars that had a tread of 9/32 almost new I have them in storage right now . I have the Cross Climates on my 2017 Corolla that I purchased 3 months ago have not tested them in snow yet

Thank you sir! Good to hear they do well on fresh snow even on a fwd car. Tbh tho I’m skeptical of how we’ll they do on ice but I guess that pertains to every car and tire

M CC2 are not dedicated winter tires they use the same rubber compound as summer tires they just have a clever tread pattern that gives them extra bite in snow and ice, below -7c these will act like summer tires until they have warmed up after a bit of driving. They are no substitute for dedicated winter tires.

They are all season tyres. It's ideal for areas where you have little snow, probably a few days a year such as the UK. Great all rounder tyre that can be used in the hot summer days, rainy days, cold days and having the odd snow in the year. I'm in the UK and got these tyres for this reason. If you live in a area where you have harsh winter weather and months of snow, then nothing beats a dedicated winter tyre.

still the best option due to 3peak mountain rating on a all season or all weather tire. but yea. winter tires and then all seasons if u can

What a bullshit. Premium all season tyres use completely different rubber compound than summer tyres. They will not fail you in -7 degrees Celsius. Cc2 are one of the best winter oriented all season tyres, compared to e.g. Bridgestone that ace in the wet conditions.

Some people, like myself don’t want dedicated winter tires for snow. Some of us want the best all season tire for snow that you can get. I want a tire that will last a long time and I can run year round in all conditions including snow. The only way to run winter tires in my opinion is if you have an extra set of wheels for them since winter tires will wear down much faster than all season tires
