📅 As of September 2023, ground was broken for the 32-meter deep underground terminus, set to be operational by March 2028. This state-of-the-art station will span three floors, boasting platforms, concourses, and service areas, with platforms tailored for 16-coach bullet trains.
🔨 Awarded to the dynamic joint venture of MEIL-HCC, comprising Megha Engineering & Infrastructure (MEIL) and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), the construction kicked off after acquiring 4.8 hectares of prime land at BKC.
👷♂️ February 2024 update reveals a bustling construction site with 774 workers diligently pushing progress forward. Witness the sheer scale as 400-500 truck trips ferry materials daily. With excavation plunging to 32 meters and 100% secant piling completion, featuring 3382 secant piles ranging from 17 to 21 meters, the project is rapidly shaping up.

BOISAR/PALGHAR/VANDHAVAN PORT areas are going skyrocket with the bullet train station there. People will have an option to live in more spacious houses and with higher quality of life there and commute to Mumbai/BKC within 30 minutes.
I will disagree. Average income levels are atrociously low even in Mumbai, unless ticket prices are capped this will be a big tax burden on Indian citizens

We can analyze the potential price in USD terms, for simplicity sake. A round trip flight from Abad to Mumbai is about $60. For bullet train to be competitive, it will have to be about the same. Boisar to BKC is less than 15% the distance of Abad to BKC. But let's use 15%. 15% of $60 is $9. That is $9 round trip, Boisar-BKC. Airlines must only operate for profit, while the goal here is to break even. So, can it be knocked down to $7? That's ₹580, 290 each way. If corporates get involved and buy bulk tickets for their employees, this could come down further. So the upper and upper-middle class can definitely afford this and the middle class may also utilize it periodically, to save the 2+ hour journey by local train and bus.

I'd assume the difficulties in construction because of Bhor Ghat, land acquisition issues and many wildlife/Natural reserves.
There was a recent study on it and they said that it is not safe for India to make a megalopolis between Mumbai and Pune as it would hamper the western ghats, it was good for US as they made bos-wash
Bandra Kurla has Diamond Bourse, reason why it will go till there, to get the highest footprint in their train. There are multiple train just running between Surat and Mumbai due to diamond business, Bullet train will be a great addition, only issue is Bullet train station in Surat is far from city, where many people won’t like to go, as travelling time to reach home to Surat station will be same as saving time in travelling in Satabdi or Tejas or Vande Bharat vs travelling in Bullet train…

So imagine how massive and complicated this project is with over 100kms of tunnels. People don't really understand or appreciate the scale of this project. Therefore a detailed video on this is required asap

I visited Ahmedabad from mumbai by flight recently. The ticket was very expensive,1800 rupees . And took a lot of flying time. Ek ghanta poora. Waiting for bullet train soon so that I can travel to Ahmedabad in 28 mins at a fraction of a cost of air travel 🧳
I know that it was sarcastic but thik hya. Ekbar yaha websites ka link de dena jaha 1800 ki flight tickets milta hya. The ticket cost has a minimum floor of 5000rs. Second koi vi flight pakdo,2hr toh lagta hya byas security ka line lagana,5 checking ko par karo,luggage ke lie check in line etc. Sob jora jai toh total time 3hr ke aspas.
Bullet train will cost same price as 1st AC, and it will also take around 2 to 2.5hr.
Thirdly There will be a line that will bifurcate from Thane and will connect to Pune and Hyderabad then Vijaywada.

Plz try to inform viewers how is the alignment of bullet train in detail from BKC to the Maharashtra Gujarat border tunnel as we are eagerly waiting to see and understand where is the exact drilling locations shown in the video. Vikhroli site and Vashi site where we can see the roads besides the construction site but dont really know where is the exact place.

For better persoective, China and India had same issues and similar economic sitation in 1990. Today Chinas entire countrys train network is Bullet Train, while we are building our 1st one now. To people who criticise China, they are atleast 50 years ahead of India. Learn to accept it. They have much more streamlined and sophisticated system in their country. Unpike we have in India. Development is good, but its happens in a disorganised way in India. We allocate money to build infra, but not for maintaining it over the years. Thats where we fall behind.

And one station is ready and other few are taking shape... Whereas just to oppose BJP, the congress lead Shivsena govt was putting hurdles in the project and was not cooperating with the project....
