How To Perform A Perfect Pushup

  • Performing a proper pushup isn't an easy as people think. Being a staple exercise to gain upper body strength, it shouldn't be looked at as simple. There are many foundations that need to be working in conjunction with each other so you don't cause more harm than good. The goal is to strengthen in the correct alignment.

    Thanks Quinn, that was an awesome explanation. I didn’t realize how badly I was doing pushups before. My right shoulder is holding me back so I can only do a few at a time but looking forward to some excellent progress now.

      That's awesome, Glen! Take it nice and slow, only perform proper push-ups rather than aiming for more reps

    For me, my wrists give out about half-way down. Nothing seems to get them stronger or better.

      This is a good point - I will add to my list to make a video on the hands and wrists - how to release and strengthen them
