Perform A Proper Glute Bridge

  • In this video, I show you an improper and common way people perform a glute bridge, then I break it down on how to perform this exercise properly. You may find there are areas where you feel stuck or can't bring your pelvis any higher - this is where I incorporate a fascia decompression technique to help unlock your pelvis and low back for optimal results.     With all the years of yoga classes I attended and with all the years of phys ed in school, *no one* ever explained how to do this pose/exercise properly until now. Thank you! I'm sure it will make a big difference for me.

    Few things are more frustrating than thinking that you are doing something to move yourself forward only to find that it isn't helping or, making it worse. I am overcoming a lower spine issue and was so proud of myself for pumping out those 30 glute bridges a day. Now I realize that I've been doing them incorrectly and it is apparent that 1 properly done glute bridge has more value than 30 incorrect ones. THANK YOU for this video!

    Wow, I have totally been doing my glute bridges incorrectly. Yikes. Thank you for the technical explanations and incorporating the fascia decompression piece (since I am a blocker).

    AGAIN, YES, THIS VIDEO IS REALLY HELPING ME ..I HAD PART OF THE MOVEMENT YET NOW I FEEL MUCH MORE COMPLETE WITH WHAT TO DO FOR RELEASING 1ST THEN STRENGTHENING. MUCH APPRECIATED !!!

    Thanks Quinn for the great video. Do you recommend this exercise for those who have a spasm issue because of the bad back when they put themselves in a wrong position?
