Had a girl I dated once talk about her ex’s. Said the classic lie of, “I don’t know how they find me, but they always do”. Popped that bubble right away. Told her she fell for the classic, “But but but, I can FIX him! I can SAVE him” paradox. Told her if she was successful in “saving or fixing” him, she would ironically enough not want him anymore, because he would then be indistinguishable from every other guy……She looked at me absolutely dumbfounded, but throughout the night, I could tell the gears upstairs were turning. Sometimes, you just have to say the quiet part out loud lol

I met a lady at work in a training class, she agreed to hanging out but not dating until my divorce was final. That lasted a month until we were dating. Covid delayed my divorce for over a year and she broke it off saying to let her know when the divorce was done. Understandable. A bit over a year later she calls me. Divorce is final but still trying to settle the house. We get back together and things are fine. Then suddenly, after 4 months, she is drawing back and again comes up with "we can't date until you are completely done with everything." States the ex will always be in my life. I don't have any kids. I'm not sure if I'm going to miss her or her dog more, but I'm done.
🙏 I hope she reaches the point of truly doing what is best.

@@YourWingmam She (the girlfriend) called me and wanted to meet. She explained, calmly and logically, what had been scaring her and why she had the reaction she did. She spent 2 months alone and miserable and realized that she loved me, missed me and I was not her ex and nothing like him. We've been back together for about a month and now if anything is bothering either of us, its a simple request to talk. Followed by everything stopping, phones down, tv off, total attention to each other until the issue, however minor, is explained, understood, and resolved.
Who would have thought simple communication could be so easy, fun, and painless. Our biggest issue in 2 weeks.. how much to spend on a invisible fence for the dog.
She's going home with me in a month and meeting Mom. Been 3 long years but looking good right now.
First time it was her fault, when you went back with her you proved to her that you have no self respect.

Yep. Same. Just remember that for those two lies, just add "for you" at the end and it makes them true. She doesn't have time FOR YOU and she's not ready for a relationship FOR YOU. That's the difference. Women just aren't honest about their lack of attraction to men and they also love the free attention while giving nothing in return. It strokes their ego.

@@RetroCaptain best strategy for sure. As soon as she starts making excuses, just ghost. Don't even give them anymore time. I've had to learn that lesson too. We have to understand that if she's not giving you definite "yes" to meeting up and stuff then it's a "no." There's no in-between with women so all of the things they say like "maybe" or "I'll see if I have time" etc are just excuses because she doesn't have the courage to tell you she's not interested and/or she loves the free attention so she'll string you along for a while.

Hi Anna. Very good points, especially about why we lie to avoid discomfort or repercussions of telling the truth. Lying always postpones an inevitable outcome; I would rather tell the truth and deal with an issue than lie and have it get bigger over time and then roll over and crush me.

For me, the only real criticism I have of women is that they are not clear about rejections. I know we hear they “don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings” but it’s worse when you have to wonder what is going on. As I have gotten older I assume vagueness and evasiveness is a rejection and usually I am right. What is wrong with flat out saying that “I’m not interested?” I’d be cool with it. At least I’d know where I stood. Final point, Recently a woman- younger than I am --said some mildly flirty things and I did not understand it. Our ages where too far apart and also while she expressed interest at the same time she’d express disinterest. I moved on and figured this was not my cup of tea. What’s wrong with clarity?

I'll tell you what's 'wrong' with clarity. A clear 'no thank you' does not allow her to reconsider her options without paying for her words. The phrase 'plausible deniability' is what they want. They can always claim by being vague that 'I never said that' or 'that is not what I meant.'
The good news is that if she wants what you are offering her, she will make her answer crystal clear. Thus, anything other than a (hell) yes, should be interpreted as a no (thanks). Let her come to you next time.
Because most men (people in general honestly) handle rejection poorly. Us guy's have pretty much conditioned women to respond in this way. Women also have the sad reality check of "what if this guy's a fucking psycho, and will hurt me if I turn him down"? Sitting in the back of their head the whole time. Most women just simply don't want to hurt you're feelings, and hope you'll get the hint eventually, and leave them alone. it's not fun being on either side of rejection, No one wakes up thinking "gee I hope someone asks me out today so I can stomp all over their heart" straight up though, if a woman likes you, you won't have to question it, you won't have to wonder where you stand with her. she'll let you know with her actions. Do yourself a favor and just move on if a woman you like isn't treating you the way you deserve. It'll save you so much unnecessary heartache.

Lie no. 9 - Yeah, I know this personally. She said she didn't need anyone 'cause she was fine with her dogs, but she ended up marrying, divorcing, and marrying again. Well of course she did have a traumatic event in the past...
You probably dodged a few troubles, my friend!
The key to keep from getting burned is to not agree to anything. Example: If she wants a ring to show she's in a relationship, give her one and have her sign a contract that says that the ring is on loan and that someday, and that day may never come, you will tell her to give the ring back. Or if she leaves you, she will return the ring. If she says no then go find one that will agree to that. They're out there. They're everywhere. Just stand your ground. Also, if she demands that the relationship be defined, refuse and tell her if she doesnt like the way things are then leave. Protect yourself at all times.

This is true. I feel that in my case, going back to the case of dating the widow I'm seeing, some day's she's more verbally open than others. But boy, she never let's down being a great kisser and a sweetheart. It's a real gamble but me being 30 and her being 59 there's alot fun and great things I'm seeing in the relationship. She's a widow and idk how i can possibly judge her harshly for those difficult emotions and memories. I give her so much credit for being a sweet heart, dedicates me oldies songs, she even broke the 3rd wall and dedicated.anr convince me to watch a movie called Maude and Harold which i truly enjoyed. She's a complete romance. I just wish I knew if i made her just as happy as she makes me. I say this because she loves to kiss spend time, although the sexual urge is highly vigilant and still on hold. Idk to what extent it's normal or not natural. Hi Anna, I always learn a lot from your precious presentations, -well done indeed. Just one point:
Immediately after the 'action’ men do not release Vasopressin, in fact, Vasopressin level drops rapidly making him
sleepy as well as dropping in blood pressure, hence men need a bit of rest to re-gain his normal energy and power.
AND THEN (after & during the few minutes of rest and sleepy time that might take up to half an hour or so):
Vasopressin level starts increasing from now low level to normal level again, also causing blood pressure
to increase from low to normal level and hence, finally man returns to his usual normal alertness and usual energy level.
So dearest ladies, please consider by giving him a bit of build-up time before starting the second round! Have a joyful time.

thanks good heads up. the key to relationship is truth...and without His amazing grace, we make up our own truth. With His forgiveness and friendship we can distinguish by prayer and care. Then we get true friends and know when a true relationship should begin or end, yet always be able to stay friends from our side. works for me a nd millions of others too. love your kind words said in a caring way... sometimes best not to tell all to another person even when we know they are lying...few today admit the truth...and that is why guys go to distant lands to find a traditional wife. Yet, often they lie too because they do not want to offend and hurt us...LOL

I think you may have mentioned an idea at 11:55 which may be much more important than you may realize. "Then the next best thing is actually to get a pet" . But this is more important than simply Oxytocin from cuddling , communication and understanding. Men who have not been in a relationship for awhile do not know what women expect from them. Women want a man who is not selfish, considers her needs, leads by example and makes her feel safe and proud. How do men with limited or no experience with romantic relationships ( not hook ups) learn this from a pet? For men, the best pet is a dog! Another Tip: A Dog will NEVER lie to you! Visit any animal shelter and there are hundreds of lost, lonely or misplaced dogs. How do you select your new dog? Exactly the way you can select women! Dogs that have eye contact, smiles ( no growling or showing canine teeth-fangs) and a wagging tail. Exactly like women! If a dog is not interested in you they will quickly let you know, just like women. It is difficult to change a feisty Pit Bull into a lap dog. Just like women. If a dog sees you, approaches you and wags its tail it is signalling that it trusts you to be safe, just like women. Once you adopt a suitable dog, learn how to control and lead the dog to your commands and reward treats, just like women. I recommend teaching your new pet both verbal and hand signals from the first 7 basic commands (sit, stay, come, heel, down, leave, place). Shoes polished, coffee, keys... "Please ( smile) and have a nice day)...just like women. The metaphor of a new pet dog can be an excellent way to learn how to think and behave with women! Once you develop a good relationship with your pet, you will automatically attract women who want to see you actually lead as well as the obedience, trust and safety your pet has with you. Back to Rule #1. It is only women who decide if there will be romance ( PUA's know this also) and it is only men who decide if a relationship will exist. I never chase or pursue... Me Too is the law. Only men must agree with her machinations and women know and understand that if you are going to put a ring on her finger, she must earn your trust ( just like a pet dog). This has always been a numbers game so trying to meet online only causes confusion and wastes time and energy (unless you are a millionaire 10) . Propinquity is another key. You must be physically near her for her to react. Being a hermit is not a good way to meet women. hint: My game/hobby is animal rescue. Most people involved in this activity are lonely women (18 - 60) on the hunt. Dogs are easily available in all sizes and space requirements and costs can be low or high based on your situation and needs. I have one dog who thinks it can read and tries simple arithmetic, but will Never lie!

Thanks..... definitely not easy especially after I was alone before her for 2 years after having another borderline partner, this one treated me great up until she started her new job as Animal Control for the town I live in, and her brakes went on the van he owns and pays for, she left on a tow truck and never came back. He got a pile of tax money back and everything changed with her. Different stories daily, until she left and was in relationships with him online almost immediately. She'd left him way before me and her started talking. I could go on but I'll spare everyone. Liars don't like being called out on their lies especially towards someone who treated them well and with love and understanding.
