Tech: Are these new digs (although the hat and coat selection seem off-style for you), a friend's place, or a quality green screen? The stairs off the kitchen are interesting, As is the flip-flopping camera perspective. And the up-tempo speaking cadence. And no end card music. Changing it up! Subject: spot on. Status, leadership, money, appearance, confidence: as men, we tend to think in terms of competition. Hence, we tend to think of the ultimate rich, handsome CEO playboy who gets all eyes on him simply by walking into a room. I can think of incidents in my life when I seemed to get female attention by accidentally (that is, without a desire to impress) displaying some of these traits in normal life. As a young guy, I was a little startled when this would happen, as I wasn't conscious of the effect even normal doses of these qualities can have on some women. Guys need to understand that the extreme incarnation of these traits (e.g., the rich CEO playboy) is not required to garner attention from many women. Valuable vid! Praying for you. -- Russ P PS/Mr. T has been excessively snoozy this week and is follow suit today, so he has nothing to add. ;)

Friend's place! The lighting at my place is sometimes way too dark (winter). Great point on the ultimate male specimen... hence the note about not needing to be a celebrity, rock star or CEO. And I assume you are not one of those yet have still garnered women's attention by displaying your version of these traits! Thank you for your prayers, I think they're working!! (Not every day, but more.) Scratch for Mr. T, God bless you Russ!

"Don't you know that a man being rich is like a girl being pretty? You might not marry a girl just because she's pretty, but my goodness doesn't it help? And if you had a daughter, wouldn't you rather she didn't marry a poor man? You'd want her to have the most wonderful things in the world and to be very happy." Plus, being negative, rude and feeling the need to brag about such things and cheating on your wife (maybe she’s cheating on you too).
You know a man doesn’t boast about that & need to put others down, if they’re truly happy in themselves. Think about it and may you feel better and make peace with others soon.

    Status.
Just to show how a mate can affect your status. I was a geeky kid in high school and not at all in the "in" crowd. I married a woman who was very outgoing and social and a fantastic dancer. She insisted that I learn to dance. We went to my 20th reunion and took possession of the dance floor. Suddenly, the people who snubbed me in high school were crowding around me congratulating me on our dancing.

It's funny, I think I've been working on these traits and didn't realize it. :) Since my GF passed away 2 years ago I made some lifestyle changes: work, learning new skills, and for my own personal health. I love watching your new videos on Sundays before I go to my side job. Gives me an extra boost of ambition and confidence that I take to work with me. After years of living in a city where the dating scene was difficult, I'm single in a small rural town where most of the community have spouces and are happy with their families. They must be doing something right. For me it's a matter of someone coming along who is available.........then I'll be ready. Thanks again for your videos.

First, and I think I've mentioned it before but my condolences. :( I'm so happy you found this path for yourself. You might try meeting women here:
      1. In general: ruclips.net/video/VM3roQKZeMI/видео.html
      2. Small towns: ruclips.net/video/O99gjYi49sc/видео.html
And don't be afraid to make friends with (extrovert) couples, they have gatherings and you can meet single women there sometimes. Plus, there's no pressure and your friends will give you an idea of what she's like.

That's a great idea to meet people around your hobbies. It's great if you feel largely displaced from mainstream society since you know you will already have something in common with someone and probably more since certain hobbies often attract certain personalities and types of people. Leadership is good, though you should filter out women who will see that quality and abuse it by being too needy, burning you out- you want women who can and will give back. Also, just like men want good looks, so do women, which is a fair point you made.

Nice video Anna. I feel i have a few of these traits but money isn't one of them currently so this makes me hesitant now days I'll admit. Like this girl I was almost involved with in the past 10 years we never dated she didn't want to get past the talking on the phone stage...but anyway she once told me when she gets married thenrock has to be huge or no dice lol...I suppose that was an initial red flag for me anyway haha 😄

    • @YourWingmam
      @YourWingmam  Год назад +2

Red flag for you indeed! And that’s OK. You have different values. I dated a guy once who wanted me to wear a 3 carat diamond because his ego liked that people would know he had money. To me it was a complete turn off. We had different values (I broke up with him). I ever get married again, I will wear a simple unadorned gold band. Most modern women do tend to want a man who makes as much money as she does. I’m sure there are women out there who make the same or less than you do. But there are a few who won’t mind making a bit more. Do what you can to improve your finances, but don’t think that’s the only thing that will get you the kind of woman you want. :)

@@YourWingmam Good point and interesting story, wow yeah sounds like the kind of guy who just wants a GF or wife as a trophy or prize almost. I rarely bump into those types but I have a few times, this one guy used to brag about his cars being pricey sports ones. He used to joke to my other friends and I, this guy we worked with we weren't friends when he left we'd joke about how much of an arrogant douche he was. He would say "just get a vette or something and girls will come to you, the Vette makes them wet" lol 🤣 I feel like that was in a movie or something but anyway, yeah...I totally get why you broke up with the guy.
If I were to ever get married, I wouldn't get like a 100 dollar ring and come off dirt cheap but I never saw the fancy diamonds and huge rock as meaningful, it's a ring at the end of the day who cares? I kind of have the opposite viewpoint of guys like you described. But thanks for the advice btw, I just try my best to go off instinct and vibes. If i get bad ones I run with it.

Good Sunday to you, Anna. Good video with good info as usual.
OK. Without being vain, let me see if I hold up.
Status. Yup. Well regarded in the field of work I am in, withe same company for 42 years. Good sized jobs I am given.
Also enjoy hiking, and learning Argentine Tango Dancing for 4.5 years (struggling at it, but that is another story)
Leadership. Yep.Trusted to run big jobs and interact with builders and customers.
Money. Well....pandemic got me. Attempting to whittle down debt. Not exactly bringing in what most women want to see ( 6 figures). Have other priorities than spending $4500 on a,trip to Buenos Aires four a 10 day Tango Tour. That is a lot of mulch and material I can buy for my landscape project at home, you know!
Confidence. Yes. Sorta. If you do not count my Tango dancing struggles.
Appearance. Yes. Sorta. While I take care of my self and do not eat junk. I am worn out from work, and Bell's Palsy did mess my facial feature and my speech a bit. I do not play wounded warrior on it, but I know it is a deterrent. Again, depends, also how well I socially act in my social group on my Tango dancing of the day ( last Saturday was great. This Saturday was not. Today's hike made up for it)
Just need to be in a positive attitude.

@@YourWingmam #1 Thank You for your answer
#2 I watch your videos at least twice to get everything right and it`s worth it
#3 I have 2 stories which may be used in creating future videos. None of those stories had a happy ending.
I had a friend (RIP) and he had two younger brothers. All well educated, wealthy, man of principles with strong moral values.
Both brothers were happily married, each one had kids and their wiifes seemed to be high value women. I`ve had the "pleasure" to meet them both and I have to admit I was fooled by them.
The first brother had everything figured out, his company was doing great, life seemed perfect until he had a stroke, got into a coma and the doctors said he may never wake up.
He had a plan for such a situation, all brothers had. The older brother had the power to take care of his business and other things. After one month since he got into a coma he was moved to his home. He had a private nurse, money was secured, children (then 12y boy, 10y girl) were safe but the kids approached their uncle and told him that their mom is not taking care of them and rarely stayed home for night or was coming back late and she was not alone. My friend hired a private detective. He did not find any dirt in her past (before her husband's stroke) but found out she had more than one lover. The kids also asked if they could stay with their uncle. He agreed and used the power which was left to him by his brother. He gave her a choice (my advice) : take care of the children and stop doing what she was doing or she will lose access to her husband's money. She decided to divorce her husband, just before she filed for divorce she tried to take whatever she could but my friend acted before she had a chance. My friend was his legal guardian of his brother, acted in his name during the divorce process and she had to face him, not a man in a coma. She wanted to take control of all her husband's assets but was willing to leave the children with their uncle. She forgot about the prenup which she signed for 14 years before. After 2 years of legal battle (this was in Germany so a different legal system than USA) she realised she would not win (she was poor getting married, did not contribute much $$ to the marriage, worked as a school teacher all her life, her husband was the provider and she was not the kind of person who would knew how to save money) and decided she didn't want to divorce and agreed to everything my friend demanded but it was too late and she lost everything besides her clothes. Even her children did not want to have anything to do with her. My friend's brother died soon after never waking up from his coma.
The second brother story is even more sad. Similar situation: happy family, everything figured out, wealthy, 3 kids (4y twin brothers, 6y girl). The death of his brother struck him hard, twins have had a special connection. He was very close with his parents but all the things with the first brother stuck them badly. They died in a car accident a few months after their son passed away. Heavy depression got to him but he was doing his best not to affect others and he was good with that (nobody noticed, not his brother, not me, not his wife and children) until he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He had a strong body but even taking that in consideration he would not get out of it but could have had a few years. He could not pretend anymore, his mental state got a lot worse, and his wife ... instead of helping him, giving moral support, started to treat him with arctic cold and funny things started to happen. For example he started to find around the house brochures of certain clinic in Netherlands which was helping people to commit suicide, illegal sleeping pills (those which can kill you if you overdose). She put a lot of pressure on him just like she wanted him to die as soon as possible. This woman at least did not have a lover and took good care of the children. She knew that all brothers had similar arrangements and in case of a divorce she would be left with nothing. There was not enough to get criminal charges against her but my friend advised his brother to get a divorce. He got it just before he died. Children were secured with their fathers money and she was left with nothing. She was allowed to stay at his home to take care of the children but she preferred to move to France where she found a wealthy old man.
My friend had under his wings his own daughter and five children of his deceased brothers. He died four years ago, two years after his second brother, a few weeks before his 60th birthday - stroke, short coma. At least his wife was a high value woman. She took care of everything and I can't say even one bad thing about her. We talk from time to time. She is now 37 and she is an attractive woman but to my surprise she is still single. I asked her why? She told me she still loves her late husband.
Maybe these stories can be used by you in creating your future content. Forgive me if my English is not perfect but my first language is Polish.
I would like to say you are doing a really good job and I wish I had a mentor like you in my teens, early 20s but being in my late 30s I`m still learning something new.
I feel you are a real help to all those young guys out there and make a change in their life
      Best Regards Angel

She said she liked our date, my voice, and was interested as far as a listener. She hardly talked. Her impatience goes against my experiences with women who aren’t able to initiate convo subjects. Logic says I could give her a chance, intuition says nice, maybe sparks, maybe not enough. She asked me out and it’s a little confusing she has courage to ask and when it comes to the real thing? She was better at texting and talking on the phone

    • @YourWingmam

She may be naturally dominant or a feminist or young. If you prefer to lead, then you have to take the lead. It could be worth giving her another chance. If you’re attracted to her, then ask her out the next time, and ask her questions that require more than a yes, or no answer. You can lead a conversation without making it a monologue. At the same time it doesn’t have to be super intense. In fact it’s better if it’s more playful and casual the first few dates. It may sound complicated, but really try to have fun and don’t overthink it.

Lying about everything and making it appear real was her game. Eventually the town wised up about her lies - except the lies about me.
Was it Mark Twain the said WTTE, It's easier to lie to people than convince them that they've been lied to?
It all makes sense why a handsome, confident, emotionally intelligent, fit, empathetic well off man like me has been single for 20 years.

I was just watching clips of the 1967 film and 1982 stage productions of "Camelot" last night and wondered how Anna might dissect this 1960s-era tragic love triangle. Arthur certainly has status, leadership (at times), money, appearance, but frequently lacks confidence and often simps. Lancelot is the perfect foil, as he has the strength of five men, but the confidence of twenty. Guenevere comes off frequently as narcissistic (Simple Joys of Maidenhood, Lusty Month of May, Then You May Take Me to the Fair).
In a previous relationship, my partner told me that one of the things they found attractive about me was my tendency to just calmly fix things when they broke, especially when it was automotive and we were on the side of the road miles from the next town. For them, it was the increased assurance of getting to places, and on time. So, yes,...feeling safe. For me, it's just the delight at naturally occurring puzzles.

I think I fell in love with my co worker. We used to work at company A and we went through lots of work stress together . Then last summer 2022 I left company A to work in company B. Two months later, she came to work in company B. She got a manager position (not my manager) and she jokingly said that she followed me. She kinda flirts with me sometimes (for example she said that if I weren’t there she would not know what she would do) and one time she wore a dress and stood in front of me asking me about my coming birthday. The thing is she pinched her dress to show half an inch more leg right in front of me (and looking at me). I did not do anything and I changed the conversation because she has a boyfriend. One Friday she told me that she wanted her boyfriend out but she decided to give him one more chance because they have a kid. But she always calls her boyfriend a POS. I am trying not to think about her but it’s hard. I feel like I have to respect the fact that she has a boyfriend. Sometimes I wish I would have never met her. What are your thoughts?

Tell her that you have noticed that she may be interested in you, but she needs to change her current arrangement with baby daddy before that will ever be possible. Make her show you she has the class to do the right thing. Besides, if she did pursue you with her current situation, you would feel like a scumbag for intruding on another persons relationship. Remember the way she treats her current relationship, will be the way she treats your relationship !

    • @YourWingmam
      @YourWingmam  Год назад +14

Just because you're attracted to her or she's hot does not make her a high value keeper. Keepers don't call their current BF POS to other guys or try to line up the next one. Don't become her emotional tampon. Do tell her she deserves to be treated well and if she ever becomes single again there will be a man who will treat her well. Do not make out that you are that man. She needs to deal with her situation before starting something else, especially since there's a child involved. (But even if not, then there's even less reason to stay.) If you want to see her true colours, ask her why she chose a POS or what her contribution is to him being that way. Good luck!

@@YourWingmam What, are you trying to get the man killed? you know just as well as I how well that WONT go if he was so blunt with her! LOL ALL women line up the next guy before they jump ship! Both the High Value & the Low value ones do it. it takes different forms, of course, but a woman wont tolerate being absolutely alone. Sorry to disagree with the master, but i disagree! @@YourWingmam I agree that she needs to work on her own relationship or just end it before looking for another one. I've always thought that relationships need to thrive or end on their own terms, not because there is or is not someone 'better' in the wings. I would be concerned that she would always be looking for the next person with whom to trade up. I might not judge her for having chosen a POS - we all have made mistakes and POS often present themselves far more shiny in the beginning - but her choice to remain with someone she considers a POS is a very large red flag to me. I also consider if she just calls the BF a POS around her coworker to garner sympathy, to tempt him with 'rescuing' her.

I wasn't aware that's what some of them call me lol I'm unaffected! I'm not offended because I know what others' think, say or do has little to do with me and more to do with them. :))

Having debts is awful indeed. I have never ever in my life had any debts whatsoever, and neither have I ever applied for any loan, even when those shifty-crafty banks wanted me to do so. Better save then spend, than borrow and put on those chains.

Wise MO... though sometimes it's worth it to borrow if what you're buying covers the cost of the loan (ex a rental property). But many have made more just investing what they can in safer stocks. But never go into debt for anything that is not an investment that will pay a positive return... cars, boats, big toys etc.

I've been told that men who bald in front are supposed to be deep thinkers and are very smart and it's also been said that men who bald on the back of their heads are supposed to be very sexy and good in bed, and a man that balds in both places front and back, just thinks he's sexy.

One problem is even in smallish towns nowadays there isn't much sense of community compared to the old days so it's difficult for men to attain traditional levels of status. Plus online dating makes it so women who used to marry the milkman think they deserve Lebron James.
