Have your last meal at least 3 or 4 hours before you go to sleep.
This gives your body time to digest your last meal before sleeping.
Your time in bed should be time for your body to rest and heal. It will be delayed if you eat to close to bed time.
The quality of your sleep will improve if you fast before bedtime for at least a few hours.

100%! 🙌 It's crazy to see the impact meal timing has on Heart Rate and HRV during the night, and consequently, on your restfulness. So, we for sure advise all our clients & viewers to finish their last meal (hopefully the lightest) at least 3 hours before bed time 😊
      Thanks again for your comment!

It is my understanding that since us humans don't have any clear biomarkers of autophagy, we don't have data that confidently indicates how long a bout of caloric restriction should be for autophagy to trigger in humans, with our best understanding loosely being in the range of 2-5 days, thus making daily time-restricted feeding a non-factor for autophagy. Since this is the very premise of your video, can I kindly ask you to provide some peer-reviewed scientific evidence that quantifiably validates your claims around daily IF and autophagy? I say this respectfully: without this, you're just the umpteenth channel parroting pseudo science on RUclips.

Hi Sebastian, thanks for your comment and input, we appreciate it.
While more research is needed to gather a deeper understanding of autophagy & TRF, there is an interesting crossover study that compared 18h and 12h fasting, and they noticed - among other parameters - an increase in the autophagy gene LC3A when the group followed the 18h fast.(www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6627766/)
As you rightly pointed out, to strongly induce autophagy, longer fasts are needed, but it seems shorter fasts (18h-ish) might still have some benefits for autophagy. Apologies if this wasn't clearly explained in the video; we're constantly striking to find the balance between keeping things simple while providing clear information - not an easy task, but we're constantly working toward the optimal balance, and hopefully that has shown from our newest videos. Thanks for taking the time, and have a great day! 🌱

You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
Fast food and sugary drinks are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
Every city should be a bicycle city.
Speak up for bicycles in your community

I absolutely agree with the increase in activity level, but I will have to decent on the Whole food, Plant Based Diet. The body is ideally suited for for Carnivore/Ketovore diets. Plants have a lot of defense chemicals that are not good for humans. Though plants may have a lot of "good nutrients", the big problem is the bioavailability of these nutrients. Furthermore without red meat we develop nutritional deficits due to certain nutrients only being available in meat. The key to a healthy metabolism is having an understanding of the ancestral evolution of the metabolism and how to properly fuel your body.
